Rebirth 1977 Great Era

Chapter 332: The impact of the college entrance examination, paper is in great demand
At dinner that day, my father, who had just returned from school, revealed:
"This time, the registration locations are mainly No. 150 Middle School, No. 156 Middle School, and No. 159 Middle School. The registration fee is not to increase the financial burden on the people, so each person will only be charged 50 cents for the registration fee."
"The college entrance examination questions are set by provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government. Both arts and science categories test politics, Chinese and mathematics. Arts subjects also test history and geography, while science subjects also test physics and chemistry."
"This is the detailed information I heard."
Fangyan asked his father:
“When does the registration start?”
"Just these few days." Dad responded.
At this time, the father-in-law beside him added:
"By the way, I heard that when admitting students, priority will be given to key colleges and universities."
"Among them, medical schools, normal schools and agricultural colleges will pay attention to recruiting barefoot doctors, private teachers and agricultural science and technology activists with good performance."
"After graduation, students will be assigned jobs by the state."
"So it is very likely that the number of applicants this time will be unexpectedly large, and their ages will also vary."
Fangyan nodded when he heard what his father-in-law said, remembering that in history, there were a total of 1977 million applicants in 570.
Some are couples taking the exam together, some are teachers and students, and some are brothers, uncles, nephews and their entire family taking the exam together.
In the same year, Hua Xia University of Science and Technology also opened a junior class, recruiting 21 talented young people from across the country.
The older ones are over thirty, married and have children, while the younger ones are just beginning to understand the world.
With such a large number of examinees, the country was unable to provide enough examination papers for a time.
Finally, the printing of some books was stopped, and the relevant paper was urgently allocated to print the examination papers.
Just when I thought of this, my younger brother Fang Chen said:
"When I came back with Chen Kaige, we passed by Xinhua Bookstore and saw a group of people scrambling for books. There were also many young people running towards the bookstore on the road."
"As soon as the news about the college entrance examination came out, People's Literature began to prepare to reduce book production, using productivity and paper to print study materials for the college entrance examination."
Fangyan was at a loss whether to laugh or cry when he heard this. The best-selling author of scar literature actually lost his popularity because he published his book too early and it conflicted with the college entrance examination.
But the good thing is that the book is published one story at a time and is not printed all at once. After the college entrance examination, its popularity will probably rise again.
Fangyan suggested to his younger brother:
"Why don't you just suspend the publication of People's Literature's Birch Forest for a while, saying that you are also preparing for the college entrance examination, and also to provide resources to those who need to prepare for the exam and need study materials."
"This will not only increase people's favorability, but also make the story of "Birch Forest" remembered again. Everyone will definitely say that "Haichao" has a high level of awareness."
The words sound very high-sounding, but in the previous life, this kind of behavior was called riding on the popularity.
Of course, people don’t think so nowadays.
I think young people are more conscious.
And it was obvious that Fang Chen had heard what Fang Yan said.
After thinking for a while, he nodded and said:
"Yes, Third Brother is right. I also want to take advantage of this time to review and focus on the exam."
After that, he decided:
"I will go to People's Literature tomorrow and tell them about this idea."
My eldest brother-in-law Zhao Yuanchao, who was always taciturn, spoke up now. He said:
"The college entrance exam does have a big impact. Some young people in our traceology training class have directly dropped out and said they want to prepare for the college entrance exam. It seems that this university is really good."
Fang Yan heard his brother-in-law's envious words and said to him:
"Those people had terrible grades in traceology and thought they could do well in the college entrance examination. Brother-in-law, don't let them influence you. Now your grades are among the top five in the training class. You will definitely be able to enter the public security system directly after completing the training. Leave the college entrance examination to me."
The eldest brother-in-law waved his hand:
"I wasn't affected, but I felt it was a pity for them to leave. After all, such a good learning opportunity doesn't come easily."
At this time, my mother He Huiru asked:
"By the way, Fangyan, when will your Ministry of Public Security finish the training on aiding North Korea?"
Fangyan responded:
"My classes will end on the 18th, and I have a class every other day, so there are only three classes left."
"But my brother-in-law and his team still have a series of follow-up training, and the certification exam will be in early November."
My eldest brother-in-law also confirmed Fangyan's news.
After hearing this, the old lady nodded and said:
"After the 18th, you should review well at home. You are the busiest person in our family, so don't let these things delay your review."
Although I have always been confident about Fang Yan's college entrance examination, now seeing so many people preparing for the college entrance examination, I can't help but get nervous.
Thousands of troops are trying to cross a single-plank bridge. If you are careless, you might be squeezed out.
Fangyan also knew what the old lady was worried about, so she didn't say much and just agreed:
"I know. I will definitely study hard."
Then the mother asked about the eldest sister's review progress.
The eldest sister said that fortunately she had not forgotten most of the knowledge, and she just needed to review and consolidate it.
Tonight, countless families across the country are discussing similar issues in Fangyan families.
Everyone is looking forward to and worrying about the college entrance examination.
The time came the next morning.
Fangyan went to work at Tongrentang as usual, and along the way he saw slogans about the college entrance examination everywhere.
When they arrived at the store, many people were holding the latest newspapers in their hands. For example, the front page of the People's Daily was "Major Reforms in College Admissions."
The headline of the Yenching Daily was similar: "Doing a good job in college entrance examinations is the hope of the people across the country."
Today, even fewer people come to see the doctor.
Early in the morning, Fangyan didn't even wait for the patient to come for a follow-up visit.
I don't know what the college entrance examination has to do with people in their sixties. There are fewer patients, and the people in the store are also hurriedly reviewing their textbooks.
Even the new arrivals Xie Guolai and Xiao Liu are the same.
The atmosphere in Tongrentang is like that of a high school classroom.
Seeing this scene, Jia Dapeng breathed a sigh of relief. As long as these two people were going to college, his position would be saved.
This kid made tea for Xie Guolai and Xiao Liu for the first time.
It was not until noon that a few patients came sporadically. As soon as they arrived, they started talking about the college entrance examination and asked where they could get the review materials. The Xinhua Bookstore was in a scramble for them.
As soon as the study materials arrive, ten minutes are gone.
For a time, paper was in great demand in Luoyang.
There was no one speaking dialect in the store, which made me feel relaxed.
Don’t mention it, I was so busy before that I suddenly have some free time today, and I’m not used to it.
Thanks to the system, he had already mastered the knowledge in those textbooks.
Reading books nowadays is nothing more than just a pretense.
In the entire store, only a few people who were not preparing for the college entrance examination did not have books.
Of course, this includes Le Miao, who will be going to Hong Kong at the end of the year.
Since he had nothing to do, Fang Yan asked about the painting that Le Miao gave at the last wedding.
I have been very busy during this period and haven’t had time to appreciate the dialect.
After looking at it a few days ago, I found out that it was a landscape painting called "Spring Snow in Taiqing Palace", and the artist was the Northern Song Dynasty painter Guo Xi.
Fangyan looked up some information and found out that this person was the "artist" of the Painting Academy of Zhao Xu, Emperor Shenzong of Song Dynasty during the Northern Song Dynasty, and later served as the director of the Hanlin Academy.
Song Shenzong Zhao Xu loved his paintings so much that he once dedicated an entire hall to Xi’s works.
When Wang Anshi carried out the reform, the murals on the walls of the new Secretariat, Menxia Ministry, Privy Council, and Yutang were all painted by him.
I don’t quite understand the dialect of this painting “Spring Snow in Taiqing Palace” and I don’t know exactly where it is painted.
Moreover, the painting was not created during the reign of Emperor Shenzong of Song, but during the earlier reign of Emperor Renzong of Song, Zhao Zhen.
Le Miao told Fangyan that Guo Xi was from Henan and had been a Taoist priest in his early years.
This painting was from the Taoist temple on the mountain back then.
There is also a story about this Taoist temple. It was built during the Northern Wei Dynasty to commemorate the Taoist Laozi. It was originally called Jingshi Mountain.
Later, during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Li Shimin conferred a title on the mountain, built the "Iron-top Laojun Temple", and named it "Laojun Mountain".
When I heard the word Laojun Mountain, I understood the dialect.
There are 16 temples on Laojun Mountain, including Taiqing Palace, Shifang Courtyard, Lingguan Hall, Lincu Hall, Shepherd's Pen, Jiuku Hall, Sutra Tower, Guanyin Hall, Sanqing Hall, and Laojun Temple.
What Guo Xi painted was the Taiqing Palace.
The Taiqing Palace was first built in the Northern Wei Dynasty and has been rebuilt throughout the dynasties. Yuchi Jingde supervised the reconstruction in the Tang Dynasty. It was at its peak in the Ming Dynasty. It was magnificent with iron rafters, iron tiles and gold and jade. For thousands of years, it has been a Taoist holy place in the Central Plains where pilgrims from Henan, Shaanxi, Anhui, Hubei and other places worship.
The painting by Fangyan was originally placed in a Taoist temple on the mountain. Many people were invited to write inscriptions and stamp on it. Later, an ancestor of the Le family donated money during the Qing Dynasty, and the Taoist priests in the temple gave him the painting.
And now it has been passed to Le Miao.
She was going to Hong Kong and didn't want to take the painting with her, so she gave the painting to Fang Yan when he got married.
He also said that although this painting was not as precious as the one by Zhan Ziqian, it could definitely be hung in the main hall with dignity because of its orderly inheritance.
Fangyan finally understood.
It turns out that the painting was a snow scene at Taiqing Palace in Laojun Mountain from more than 900 years ago.
Fang Yan told Le Miao that he should keep it well and treat it as a family heirloom of the Fang family.
……
In the morning, Fang Yan saw nine patients. Because of the news about the college entrance examination, Fang Yan seemed to have returned to his early days.
I've never felt so relaxed after get off work.
After returning home and having lunch, Fang Yan hung the painting that Le Miao gave him in the main living room of his house.
I also took the opportunity to explain the origin of this painting to my family.
Then in the afternoon after everyone else goes to work.
He had to go to Capital University of Chinese Medicine and pretend to be a college student to attend classes.
The old lady from Shuangqiao gave a lecture on Luo’s bone-setting techniques.
Before going to Japan, Mr. Cheng asked Professor Wang Yuchuan to send the invitation.
Almost twenty days have passed, and the busy old lady Luo finally has some free time today.
I am scheduled to give a lesson to students at school this afternoon.
The main teaching target is still the group of fifth-year students led by Professor Wang Yuchuan.
The undergraduate program at Capital University of Chinese Medicine is four years for the Traditional Chinese Medicine major and five years for the Traditional Chinese Medicine major.
So this group of fifth-year students are also the ones who are about to graduate.
They are about to start clinical work, so the old lady is happy to teach them.
The dialect should be mixed in, and you can learn Mrs. Luo’s bone-setting method.
