Rebirth 1977 Great Era
Chapter 448: Yi Jian Gui 1, Four Famous Doctors in Beijing
Chapter 448: "The Return of the Simple to the Simple", the Four Famous Doctors of the Capital
Speaking of the Yongjia School of Medicine, it is quite old.
It is one of the ten major schools of "Zhejiang School of Traditional Chinese Medicine" in the Song Dynasty.
It is a major medical school formed in Yongjia (now Wenzhou) during the Southern Song Dynasty.
Chen Yan is the representative figure.
His disciples include famous doctors such as Wang Shuo, Sun Zhining, Shi Fa, Lu Zuchang and Wang Wei.
This Chen Yan wrote a book called "Three Causes Theory of Disease and Symptoms", in which he proposed the famous "Three Causes Theory" in the theory of etiology.
This theory has been used since the Song Dynasty until today and involves many basic aspects.
The "Three Causes Theory" divides the causes of disease into external causes, internal causes, and neither internal nor external causes.
This systematic classification and explanation of the causes of disease laid an important foundation for the development of traditional Chinese medicine etiology.
He believed that external factors included the six evils:
Wind, cold, heat, dampness, dryness, and fire.
Internal factors include seven emotions:
Happiness, anger, worry, thinking, sadness, fear, and shock.
If it is not caused by internal or external factors, then other factors such as diet, fatigue, and trauma are involved.
The emergence of this theory allows Chinese medicine practitioners to diagnose diseases more accurately and thus develop more reasonable treatment plans.
For example, when diagnosing a patient's illness, the doctor can use the "Three Causes Theory" to ask the patient in detail about his experiences before the onset of the disease, whether he has been affected by external evil spirits, whether he has emotional fluctuations, or whether he has an irregular diet, etc., and then determine the category of the cause and provide targeted treatment.
The emergence of the Yongjia School of Medicine has made many achievements in medical theory and clinical practice.
In theory, in addition to the "Three-Cause Theory", there are also in-depth discussions and developments on the pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine.
They focus on the holistic concept, believing that the human body is an organic whole and that the various organs and meridians are interconnected and influence each other.
In clinical practice, the Yongjia School of Medicine is good at using a variety of treatment methods, such as the flexible combination of Chinese medicine prescriptions, and the comprehensive use of external treatments such as acupuncture and massage.
In the science of prescription medicine, they have created many effective prescriptions, which are formulated according to different symptoms and causes of disease, with precise medication and significant curative effects.
The academic thoughts of the Yongjia School of Medicine were widely spread and had a multi-faceted impact on the development of medicine in later generations.
His "Three-Cause Theory" was widely absorbed and applied by later generations of medical practitioners, becoming one of the classic theories of TCM etiology, and has been continuously inherited and developed in TCM clinical practice and theoretical research.
Later, many doctors would analyze the causes of patients' diseases based on the "Three-Cause Theory" during the process of syndrome differentiation and treatment, so as to determine the treatment principles and methods.
Its influence has spanned many historical periods, right up to today, and even into the twenty-first century when dialects are traveling through it.
According to the current information, Xu Ruoxu's "Yi Jian Gui Yi" provides the evolution of the Yongjia School of Medicine from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty, the inheritance of medical theories, the development of prescription medicine and rich clinical medical cases.
It can serve as an important reference document for the development of medicine from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty.
Based on the theory of "Sanyin Fang", Xu Ruoxu integrated the research results of Wang Shuo, Sun Zhining, Shi Fa, Lu Zuchang and other medical practitioners on "Wang's Easy and Simple Fang".
It can be said to be an enhanced version of "Wang's Yijian Prescriptions" and "Continued Yijian Prescriptions and Mai Lun".
Xu Ruoxu is a very interesting person. He came from a prominent family in the local county and became a Jinshi at the age of fifteen.
Then the boy chose to retire and practice medicine.
Afterwards, whenever he heard that someone had a good prescription, he would pay a high price and travel hundreds of miles to seek advice and buy it. He spent ten years collecting and studying information, and eventually became a great doctor.
He was only twenty-five years old at the time.
It is said that one should become famous as early as possible. Xu Ruoxu also became famous at a young age.
Later, in order to pass on his experience, he began to write books.
This book "Easy to Simplify and Return to Oneness" is the masterpiece of his life's work.
Fangyan didn't care about anything else at this moment. He started to study it carefully and then let the system help him.
I don’t know if it was the dialect that subjectively confirmed that this was "Yi Jian Gui Yi", the system prompt was actually "Yi Jian Gui Yi" instead of "Wang's Yi Jian Fang" written in the book.
After Fangyan finished reading, Luo Huichun finally came back.
He directly brought the books related to the "Yi Jian Gui Yi" fragments. Because the book was so badly damaged that it could not be published as a separate book, it was bound together with other fragments.
Fangyan took a look and immediately confirmed that it was exactly as he had judged.
After seeing this and comparing them, Meng Jimin could not hide his excitement and said:
"Oh my god, it really is "Yi Jian Gui Yi"! Is this... another fragment discovered? "
Fang Yan nodded and said to Meng Jimin:
"Congratulations, you have discovered a very valuable book."
Meng Jimin said to the dialect:
"Lao Fang, you are indeed my precious..."
"Stop!" Fang Yan hurriedly stopped this guy. The rumor had already spread weird enough. If he continued to spread it now, who knows what kind of rumors it would become.
Meng Jimin was not stupid. He knew that Fangyan was afraid that he would say it too many times and make his reputation weird, so he immediately changed his words:
"Hahaha, that's awesome! I'm really impressed that you can remember this after just a glance at it!"
Old Ji also reacted at this time and said to Fang Yan:
"Team Leader Fang, what's wrong with your brain? You really have a photographic memory and can remember everything you see!?"
The dialect said:
"It's not like I can remember something just by seeing it. It's mainly because I just happened to have some impression of this book."
"So I thought about it and remembered it."
After hearing this, everyone else didn't believe it.
After spending so many days together, everyone realized that Fang Yan's memory was quite amazing. As long as the books were included in the "Imperial Collection of Medical Prescriptions", he could remember that all of them were available in China.
What he could not remember must be a fragment or one of the thirty-five lost books.
Now this proves once again that the memory of dialects is really terrifyingly good.
His reading volume is unmatched by many other older medical practitioners. However, dialects cannot be acknowledged.
If he admitted that he had a photographic memory, he might be given some other job.
It's one thing for everyone to think so about some things.
Once you admit it yourself, that's another matter.
……
The next step is to copy and report to the leader.
The leader was very surprised to find such a book today, the last day.
The main thing is that I just discovered it yesterday, and it happened again today.
There was no movement in the morning, but the good news came as soon as Fangyan arrived in the afternoon.
It seems that the legend of the inspection room is becoming more and more true.
In fact, Vice President Zhao had also heard about the fact that dialects bring good luck.
He has always maintained an observant attitude towards this.
He did not stand up and criticize everyone for being unscientific.
As an old-school Chinese medicine practitioner, he has studied Yin and Yang fortune, various physiognomy, the Five Omens from Burning Turtle Shell, and the Book of Changes and Liu Ren.
Although he may not be proficient in using them, he still has a lot of knowledge.
He began to study medicine at the age of fifteen and studied under Tao Qing, Shi Jinmo, and Xiao Longyou.
These people are all old-school Chinese medicine practitioners.
Shi Jinmo and Xiao Longyou were two of the four famous doctors in the capital at that time.
These four famous doctors in Beijing are officially recognized.
In 1935, the National Government promulgated the Traditional Chinese Medicine Regulations, which required examinations for all personnel engaged in the industry. These four renowned and skilled Chinese medicine practitioners served as chief examiners, responsible for setting questions and marking papers. From then on, they were known as the "Four Doctors of the Capital."
Among them, Xiao Longyou is the leader of the four famous doctors.
He is proficient in Yin-Yang fortune-telling, various physiognomy, the Five Omens from Burning Turtle Tortoise Shell, and Zhouyi and Liuren.
In 1924, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of the Republic of China, went north while ill. His condition became increasingly serious. Many doctors were consulted but none of them could diagnose the cause of the illness, which continued to worsen.
Through the introduction of a friend, Xiao Longyou was invited to diagnose him.
Xiao Longyou only took a glance at it and determined that the root of the disease was in the liver.
He also said that the condition was irreversible and that no medicine could cure it, and he didn't even write a prescription.
At that time, Xiao Longyou truthfully informed Mrs. Sun, Soong Ching Ling, of his illness.
After Mr. Sun Yat-sen passed away, a pathological autopsy revealed that his "liver was as hard as wood and had a malignant tumor", confirming that he was indeed suffering from liver cancer. Xiao Longyou's diagnosis was accurate, causing a sensation in society.
That's the power of being good at this stuff.
So now he somewhat believes that dialects bring good luck.
Of course, the greatest influence is the strength of the dialect itself.
If he didn't have such a good memory, it would be impossible for him to find the corresponding book as soon as he discovered it.
With him, efficiency has been improved to what it is now.
If we follow the normal process, it should be similar to the Korean side.
It took tens of thousands of people half a year to finish these books.
And there is no guarantee that it is completely correct, just like the wrong copy today.
Who could have thought of including those three fragments from the Yuan Dynasty?
Therefore, dialect proficiency is still the most important.
President Zhao Xiwu believes that this is the greatest function of dialects. Otherwise, even if you find it, you will be groping in the dark.
However, when leaving, President Zhao Xiwu still shook hands with Fang Yan.
Well, I don’t have any other intentions, I just want to verify it and see if good things will happen next.
This is the rigor of an old Chinese medicine practitioner.
That afternoon, the prescription was copied down. The evolution of the Yongjia School of Medicine, the inheritance of medical theories, the development of prescription science and the rich clinical cases contained in it were highly valued.
Anyone who is a practitioner can see that the value of this book is no less than those books on prescriptions.
In some ways, this book is even more valuable.
A prescription simply provides a recipe that can be used by people.
But this book is more like a hexagonal warrior, recording all aspects of theory and practice.
Otherwise, the famous Yuan Dynasty Hanlin Academy scholar and imperial lecturer Wu Cheng said: "The arguments in this book are becoming more subtle and precise, and the methods are becoming more comprehensive and complete."
After reading it, Meng Jimin realized what a great book he had discovered.
This is a book that can enrich the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine's "Three Causes Theory".
I thought that my name would be mentioned together with this book in the future.
Meng Jimin was extremely excited.
All this is due to Fangyan’s amazing memory, otherwise he would have been too lazy to study the book and would have skipped it directly.
