Hunter: I became stronger even after I died.

Chapter 85 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 85 Remarks on the launch
It will be available after midnight today.

Well, let me take this opportunity to talk briefly about my feelings about writing Hunter fan fiction.

How should I put it, I'm a useless pig, I really like Hunter.

I like the style of intellectual warfare in Hunter, which is filled with a lot of character psychological activities, real-time narration, and battle analysis, but of course I love Togashi's writing even more.

This kind of liking reached its peak during the Chimera Ant chapter, with the help of the anime BGM.

But this original style is actually incompatible with the nature of online literature, especially in this fast-paced, fragmented time environment...

Even the interesting oaths and restrictions in the hunter setting are actually incompatible with the attributes of online novels.

Because readers don't want to see the protagonist's abilities restricted.

The more Hunter fan fiction I write, the deeper this feeling becomes.

Take the death brand in this book as an example.

Only by killing Feitan yourself can the "X" symbol on the back of your hand be removed.

There are roughly three types of reader reactions to this setting:
1. It feels inexplicable and illogical.

2. I feel it fits the setting of oaths and constraints.

3. They think that this restriction is too simple and not worthy of the oath effect of death and rebirth.

There are three different viewpoints on just one oath constraint setting. Isn't that interesting?

Feizhu has written a lot, so he knows the contradictions between Hunter fan fiction and online literature, and he is also aware that these things will affect the reading experience to a certain extent.

But this matter has nothing to do with the readers.

Readers create the market, and how to cater to readers is always something authors should consider.

If you don't want to change, you have to make a choice. I still insist on trying to reproduce the style of the original work as much as possible, after all, I am writing fan fiction.

But there is actually a way to improve it, which is to equip the protagonist with a genius monster-like talent and a powerful and interesting trait ability that can be easily developed.

But I did not continue this approach in this book.

The reason is very simple. I am tired of writing this kind of protagonist template.

In fact, when I was writing the first chapter of this book, I still gave the protagonist a special ability called a community of shared destiny.

But as mentioned above, I got tired of it, and just this one thought led to the current content.

I want to see how the protagonist, who is above an ordinary person but below a genius monster, manages to break through the hellish death node within a year while gradually developing and perfecting his Nen ability.

This kind of willful and self-willed behavior of doing something knowing it is impossible should be described as an operation in this book, hey.

So I am particularly grateful to the old readers for their tolerance towards Feizhu. It is actually quite a blessing for a clumsy person like me to receive such love.

Of course, if you get bad grades after being willful, that is also the result you have to accept.

As of now, the performance of this book is average, and I feel a little ashamed of the editor's care.
Speaking of which, except for the one about one piece, the first orders of Feizhu's other books were quite bad. For example, the book about the Exorcist was fortunate enough to get ten thousand orders, but the first order was less than two thousand at the beginning, haha.

So I begged the breeders for a first order. If I could get 2,000 first orders, I would be satisfied~!

Then let’s talk about updates.

It will be on the shelves at midnight tonight, with at least three chapters, and then I will update as much as I write during the day, with a minimum of five chapters.

Later I tried hard to update 6000 to 8000 words every day. Now it’s too late, even those with clumsy hands have to work hard.

Finally, I would like to express my special thanks to Even if Life is Dust, I Still Wish the Years are Like Songs, Yuyi Tanyu, Mutated Demon's Vest, Grief Mo Yan, Canberra's List, Tree Shepherd (hand-typed, not listed one by one) and other big guys for their rewards. Thank you for your trust
