I am not Yuan Shu
Chapter 43 I want them all!
Chapter 43 I want them all!
More than a thousand of Ma's disciples and students who participated in the agricultural assistance campaign with Yuan Shu soon decided to join the Yi Xin Society.
After careful consideration, Ma's senior students Xu De, Chen Lei and Wu Shang also chose to join the Yi Xin Society.
More than 200 scholars and students who came from other places to follow Yuan Shu to participate in the agricultural assistance campaign also decided to join the Yi Xin Society.
After more than twenty days of hard work, the Yi Xin Hui organization was officially established, and a scholar organization led by Yuan Shu was openly established in Maoling County.
Yuan Shu arranged for people to carve a batch of wooden plaques. The front of the plaque was engraved with the word "Yi Xin", and the back was engraved with the member's name, courtesy name, and place of origin. Each person was given one as a certification of their membership in the Yi Xin Society.
Then, at the founding meeting of the Yi Xin Hui on the first day of July in the ninth year of Yan Xi, Yuan Shu announced the Yi Xin Hui's future action plan while giving lectures.
We will continue the agricultural assistance campaign to the end, helping farmers to harvest more food during the summer and autumn harvests, earn more income, and increase savings so that they can survive the coming cold winter and avoid starvation.
And considering the soaring food prices and casualties that occurred in Anling, Pingling and other places during the previous food crisis, Yuan Shu said that the ideas and practical actions of Yi Xin Hui should be implemented and not limited to Maoling, but should also be put into practice in other places.
"Devote all to the country, all to the people, all to the public, all to the truth. This is not something that can be put on display, but something that every Yi Xin member must keep in mind. Conscience is in the heart, faith is in the heart, courage should also burst out from the heart, everything is in my heart.
We, the members, should take conscience, belief and courage in our hearts as the foundation, help each other, supervise each other, hold each other accountable, support each other, embark on the path of saints, and finally reach the destination of saints and become true saints. This is the highest ideal of Yi Xin Hui! "
Yuan Shu's speech was warmly praised by the members of Yi Xin Hui.
So in the following days, Yuan Shu became even busier.
Because he was not only responsible for the management affairs of the Yi Xin Society, but also had to shoulder the responsibility of being Ma's disciple and give lectures on behalf of Ma Rong.
In addition, he also had to take time to annotate "Mencius" and build a complete theoretical system for the School of Conscience, so that the Eastern Han version of the "Xinxue" school could be born.
Fortunately, he had capable helpers such as Lu Zhi and the Thirteen Guardians, so he was not in a panic and at a loss as to what to do.
Even so, he had to live a 996 life of "sleeping at three in the morning and getting up at five in the morning" in order to maintain the current hard-earned situation.
The establishment of Yi Xin Hui attracted considerable attention from the very beginning.
Although many outsiders are not very clear about what the Yi Xin Hui is doing, they know that this organization was founded by Yuan Shu and is related to the Yuan family, which will be helpful to their future prospects, so many people want to join.
Many of them had never heard Yuan Shu’s lectures, nor participated in any farmer-aid activities. They looked like speculators, which disgusted Yuan Shu.
Therefore, Yuan Shu asked the Personnel Director Wei Jia, Deputy Directors Dou Yun and Yu Chou to strictly screen and examine the reasons for their applications. If they did not have a basic understanding of the science of conscience and had not participated in any agricultural assistance activities, they would not be allowed to join.
The General Affairs Department and the Logistics Department are also not without work to do. They have to continue to help the self-cultivating farmers complete agricultural production, provide them with necessary assistance, and pay attention to agricultural tools, oxen, and water conservancy projects.
In addition, Zhao Jun, director of the General Affairs Department, also suggested to Yuan Shu that the Yi Xin Society could set up a workshop to manufacture farm tools on its own instead of having to purchase them everywhere.
Buying from everywhere requires a lot of money and it is difficult to control the quality.
He believed that many agricultural tool manufacturers did not take agricultural tool production seriously. Even among the agricultural tool assistance Yuan Shu received from Ma Rong and Yuan Feng, almost 20% were defective products that broke down as soon as they were used.
Therefore, he sincerely believed that if Yi Xin Hui wanted to carry out its agricultural assistance program to the end, it must have its own agricultural tool production capabilities and produce high-quality and sufficient agricultural tools for farmers to use.
Zhao Jun's suggestion was supported by Su Chu, director of the logistics department, and Ma Ran, deputy director, who also believed that it was necessary.
They also made use of their expertise and, based on this, suggested setting up an officially registered agricultural tool production shop to achieve legal and large-scale production.
They felt that although this was a bit difficult, Yuan Shu personally possessed strong political connections and avenues. As long as they asked his father Yuan Feng to make some arrangements, it would be easy to set up a farm tool production workshop with a legitimate reason.
With mining and production qualifications, future agricultural assistance activities will be much easier.
No matter what the officials say, they will not lose the taxes that the government deserves.
Yuan Shu was very excited by this suggestion, so he agreed to it and sent someone to send a letter to Yuan Feng, asking for political help in this regard.
During the Han Dynasty, the control over steel production was sometimes strict and sometimes relaxed.
During the Western Han Dynasty, counties that produced iron set up great iron officials, who were subordinate to the central government's Minister of Agriculture and were directly responsible for their dismissal. Counties that did not produce iron also set up small iron officials, who were subordinate to the counties and were directly responsible for their dismissal by the county chiefs.
By the Eastern Han Dynasty, both the major and minor iron officials were affiliated with the local counties, and were responsible for their dismissal and appointment by the county chiefs. In other words, by the Eastern Han Dynasty, the control of steel resources was decentralized from the central government to the local governments. The central government was only responsible for taxation and nothing else, and all production affairs were left to the local governments.
Therefore, local county magistrates had absolute control over the steel industry.
Yuan Feng was the Jingzhao Yin, and the Jingzhao region had a Grand Iron Officer in charge of iron ore mining and the specific production of iron products. The specific power was also in Yuan Feng's hands. So when he learned that Yuan Shu wanted to set up a steel company in the name of "Yixinhui" to provide a one-stop service from mining to production, he thought it was quite interesting.
Of course, he felt that his interest was not in steel production, but in the organization called Yi Xin Hui that Yuan Shu had set up.
He doesn't care about the organizational charter or anything like that; what he cares about is the formation of the organization.
This organization officially exists and has more than a thousand members. All of them were incorporated into the Yi Xin Hui and became an organization because they believed in and practiced Yuan Shu's teachings of conscience.
Yuan Shu has absolute leadership in this organization. He is the core leader and controls the organization's voice and external propaganda channels.
At the moment, this organization may just be a quasi-academic organization, and all outsiders see it that way.
They saw that Yuan Shu wanted to promote the knowledge of conscience, so they set up such an organization.
There is no doubt that Yuan Shu will develop into a master in the future and expand his influence in the academic field.
There are many people who do this. There are countless ancient Chinese classics teachers who accept disciples in the world today. The number of disciples ranges from tens of thousands to hundreds. Everyone is on this track.
But most of the guys who are inward-looking are middle-aged and elderly people, with half their bodies buried in the ground, and no one knows when they will die.
Yuan Shu, at most twelve years old, is basically a boy, but at this age he has already embarked on a path that others can only embark on when they are forty or fifty years old.
This means that he has taken fewer than 30 years of detours than most of the inward-looking guys.
The key is that he succeeded and had more than a thousand believers willing to follow him.
Because of his background and knowledge, these people simply ignored his age and followed him on this unknown road.
Indeed, Yuan Feng believed that Yuan Shu was able to build this organization largely because of his background and the accumulation of several generations of the Yuan family. But as his eldest son, Yuan Ji, who was also the legitimate son of the Yuan family, why couldn't he do it?
Why don’t other powerful families that can compete with the Yuan family have such outstanding members?
If you have the ability, you can also set up a school organization of a thousand people when you are twelve years old!
snort!
It has to be my son!
Yuan Feng felt a strong sense of pride and satisfaction because of this. He felt proud and honored!
So he happily wrote back to Yuan Shu, asking him whether he wanted to set up this steel enterprise in Jingzhao area or in Youfufeng.
If he wants to do it in Jingzhao, his father can help him personally. If he wants to do it in Youfufeng, he can just send a letter to Shen Ke, and Shen Ke will come running over to clean up his mess.
This is the confidence of the Yuan family!
This is the face of the Yuan family of Runan, which has had three generations of officials!
When Yuan Shu received the reply, he was delighted and immediately wrote back to Yuan Feng, saying - I want them all!
Build one in Jingzhao area and one in Youfufeng. The more steel enterprises there are, the better. He can also take this opportunity to recruit more technical talents in the steel industry, who will be of great use in the future.
After the matter was settled, Yuan Shu was filled with emotion - how could his own efforts compare to the achievements of his ancestors?
If I didn’t have the Yuan family as my backer, would I be able to accomplish these things?
You wish!
It's good enough that the rules and regulations don't kill him.
Parents who want their children to be successful always ask their children to bring honor to them. But why don’t they think about letting their own parents bring honor to themselves?
If our ancestors have done a good job, why do we need our children to do the same?
As long as the child can breathe, it’s fine!
So Xiuxiu once again watched Yuan Shu cut the expensive Qingzhou parchment into the shape of five-zhu coins, and then pulled her along to burn them for his five ancestors in the middle of the night.
While burning, he talked to himself.
"Thank you, ancestors, for making me proud!"
“Thanks to our ancestors for their hard work and struggle!”
"Thanks to our ancestors for not lying down. Each of them is the king among kings!"
"A family business that has been in business for five generations will never lose to those who have studied hard for ten years!"
With the great help of the ancestors, the cost for Yuan Shu to cause trouble was greatly reduced and the tolerance rate was greatly improved.
The people around him not only rely on him and keep an eye on him, but the entire Yuan family also shares the pressure for him.
His subordinates will no longer force him to be the king of competition and fight hard!
Great!
