Chapter 564 Grilled Oysters

Zhang Ye was speechless at those two words. Although he had been exposed, he didn't care and readily admitted it.

[It's urgent, Boss Lu! It's a matter of life and death!]

Even through the screen, Boss Lu could feel Zhang Ye's urgency, but there was nothing she could do but wait quietly for Wang Yang to return.

Lu Li wanted to soothe Zhang Ye's anxious feelings, but she hadn't even finished typing a sentence yet.

Wang Yang returned whistling, and when she heard that familiar whistle, she looked up abruptly.

Their eyes met briefly in mid-air, and Wang Yang raised an eyebrow at her.

He had a "Praise me! If you praise me, I'll tell you" expression.

Lu Li rolled her eyes where he couldn't see, while Wang Yang sat down next to her with a smug look on his face.

He was playing with a small black tin box in his hand, which spun very obediently.

"Hey, guess how many high-level zombies there are." Wang Yang's tone was slightly smug, and he even crossed his legs.

Lu Li could tell from his appearance that there was a lot inside.

However, high-level zombies are already rare; there might not even be one out of tens of thousands of zombies.

She cautiously asked, "Ten?"

Wang Yang scoffed, "Who do you think you are? Do you think I'd still have the nerve to come back if there were ten of you?"

“Fifteen,” Lu Li added, after all, Wang Yang had only been gone for a few hours.

How far can it be? It can't possibly take several hours to travel back and forth to the central base, can it?

Wang Yang glanced at her again, "Can't you guess higher? It really is."

Desperate, Lu Li gave an "OK" sign and said, "Thirty, that's the most I can do, right?"

“…What if there are even more?” Wang Yang asked, feeling both helpless and amused.

"Well, you're something else. Just tell me already, stop making me guess. I'm getting tired of guessing all the time." Lu Li spread her hands.

Wang Yang couldn't help but laugh and tossed her the small black metal box. "Sixty-five of them, all of them are level five or higher zombies."

"Oh my?" Lu Li quickly took it, and couldn't help but exclaim in admiration, "Not bad~"

With a thought, Lu Li also saw the scene inside the black iron box.

Dozens of zombies were pacing around in the small dark room, howling and barking, and in their desperation, they attacked their fellow zombies.

“Okay, I’ll send a package to Dean Zhang right away,” Lu Li said eagerly.

After saying that, he got up to leave, but Wang Yang grabbed his wrist and pulled him gently.

Lu Li slumped into his arms, instinctively placing her hand on his shoulder.

She's in a hurry to send a package and doesn't have time for all this messy stuff.

"What are you doing?" Lu Li pretended to get up, but Wang Yang's hands firmly held her waist.

"Nothing much, just a kiss." With that, Wang Yang leaned in and pouted.

Reward?
The thought had barely crossed Lu Li's mind when Wang Yang's lips were already pressed against hers.

After a passionate kiss, Wang Yang reluctantly let go of her.

Wang Yang wanted to kiss her again, but Lu Li pushed him away without hesitation.

He just said, "What's the rush? We'll talk when I get back."

Wang Yang obediently withdrew his hand, which he had wanted to hold, and got up to follow her to the express delivery station.

She skillfully sent out the package, employing the highest level of security measures.

If the recipient does not sign for the package, or if it unfortunately falls into the hands of someone else, the recipient will destroy it on the spot.

After sending out dozens of zombies, Lu Li felt a huge weight lifted off her shoulders.

She walked out of the express delivery station in a good mood, completely unaware that Wang Yang was following behind her.

I happily went to the milk tea shop and bought a cup of cheese peach. I took a sip after receiving it.

The savory aroma of cheese combined with fresh peach flesh is simply divine; whoever came up with this combination could have imagined it.

As she was drinking, a resentful voice came from behind her, "Where's my milk tea?" Lu Li was startled by the sudden voice and looked back.

It's that damn Wang Yang again. She rolled her eyes and casually opened her personal terminal to order him the same drink.

As she handed it to him, she added, "Hey, it's your honor to be able to drink the same one as mine."

Wang Yang accepted it with a grin, adding, "Yes, yes, it's my honor."

The two walked back with their milk tea in their hands. As they passed a cake shop, Wang Yang remembered that she loved to eat that mousse.

He asked, "Shall we go in and take a look?"

Lu Li took a sip of her milk tea and nodded. "Let's go."

She loves going to supermarkets and cake shops the most.

The cake shop was packed with people, but there was no smell of sweat or body odor.

All that's there is is the enticing aroma of cakes; just being in this space makes one feel completely comfortable.

Because of the crowd, the two didn't take their time browsing and Luli quickly picked out a few things she wanted to eat.

After handing everything over to Wang Yang, she took the milk tea and went out.

Too many people.

This is still a level-two cake shop, twice the size of the previous one, but it's still smaller compared to the foot traffic at the Yu Rou base.

Wang Yang was about to pay the bill when he realized that all the shops belonged to Lu Li.

Why bother paying? Wang Yang simply left.

He glanced at the checkout line, which was too long, and he didn't know how long he would have to wait.

He carried a handful of small cakes and breads out, and had just taken one step out.

The alarm went off.

Lu Li happened to be outside the door, looking at him speechlessly, "What are you doing? Trying to dine and dash?"

Wang Yang looked helpless and turned to go inside without saying a word.

Who would have thought this would happen?

Lu Li waited outside for a while before Wang Yang came out carrying a bag of small cakes.

As soon as they came out, they saw Lu Li staring intently at the bag. Wang Yang opened it without thinking and said, "Take it."

She picked and chose in the bag and picked out a mango mousse.

It's convenient to eat while walking, and you don't have to worry about getting your hands dirty.

Before even reaching the lottery shop, Lu Li saw a group of people outside, seemingly watching something exciting.

She figured that someone must have scratched off some eye-catching reward to attract everyone's attention.

She shoved the leftover cake scraps into Wang Yang's hand and squeezed into the crowd.

In the center of the crowd, there was a sizzling sound, and a fragrant aroma wafted over.

Lu Li looked closely and saw that it was a barbecue grill with an iron rack on top and charcoal underneath.

But instead of meat skewers, the metal rack held individual oysters.

She moved closer to get a better look; each oyster was about the size of a palm.

It was also topped with finely chopped garlic and chili peppers, and it smelled delicious.

Having just finished her cakes and lunch, Luli is honestly hungry.

The stall owner spotted Lu Li in the crowd and waved to her without hesitation.

Luli was summoned and immediately went to the stall owner who seemed insecure.

The stall owner rubbed his hands helplessly. "Boss Lu, how much are these oysters?"

Lu Li recalled how they were sold in civilized times; most barbecue stalls sold them for a few yuan each.

She suggested, "How about five points each? If you buy more, you can get a discount. Twenty points for six, six for a dozen, so fifty points for twenty."
