Chapter 358 Jin Hao (1)

"Who are you? What are you doing at my doorstep?"

Suddenly, a man's voice came from behind.

Nancy and Lin Xiaoyan turned around and saw a middle-aged man looking at them warily.

Lin Xiaoyan was a little embarrassed. "Um... we came back with Xiao Bo."

"Xiao Bo?" Mr. Jin was taken aback.

"dad!"

Xiao Bo appeared at the doorway.

When Mr. Jin saw that it really was his son, a big smile spread across his face.

"Xiao Bo, it really is you! When did you get back?"

Mr. Jin walked quickly to his son, looked at him, and patted him on the shoulder excitedly.

At this moment, Jin's mother wiped away her tears and came out. When she saw her two beautiful daughters standing outside the door, she was stunned.

"Xiao Bo, who are these two?"

Jin's mother's heart raced, her heart pounding with excitement. Could it be her son's girlfriend?!

Xiao Bo quickly introduced, "Dad, Mom, this is my boss! This is my colleague!"

Xiao Bo pointed at Lin Xiaoyan and Nanxi and said.

Lin Xiaoyan didn't expect Xiao Bo to introduce them to her family in the same way. After a pause, she noticed Xiao Bo's gaze and smiled at Mr. and Mrs. Jin.

"Hello, Uncle and Aunt. You can just call me Xiaoyan. I was just passing by your house and thought I'd drop by."

Nancy said coldly, "Hello."

Upon hearing that it was their son's boss, but not knowing what kind of boss, Mr. and Mrs. Jin were somewhat puzzled, but they didn't want to ask in front of outsiders.

"Hello, hello, please come in and sit down. Our home is a bit simple, please don't mind..." Jin's mother warmly led the two into the house.

After looking at it, Mr. Jin turned around, got on his electric bike, and went to buy groceries.

He didn't know his son was coming back with his boss, so he had to go buy meat and vegetables to treat them well.

Just as Mr. Jin rode his electric bike out, he ran into his elderly mother, who was walking towards his house with a cane.

The moment he saw his elderly mother, Mr. Jin felt a surge of impatience.

"Is Bowazi back? If he's back, why didn't he come to see me?"

When Grandma Jin saw her eldest son, she immediately questioned him angrily.

Mr. Jin: ...

He took a deep breath and explained, "Mom, Xiao Bo just got home and hasn't even sat down yet. He's working with his boss. The boss kindly asked Xiao Bo to come home for a bit. You go back first, and Xiao Bo will come see you when he has some free time."

Upon hearing that her grandson had brought his boss, Grandma Jin paused, then reluctantly turned back.

"Unfilial descendant! You came back and didn't even come to see me right away. What use is this grandson of yours..."

Hearing his mother's grumbling, Mr. Jin was furious, but remembering his mother's usual behavior, he forced himself to hold back.

Over here, Lin Xiaoyan and Nanxi were warmly pulled to sit down and have tea by Jin's mother.

Jin's mother went into the kitchen to steam the rice, and then began to prepare the vegetables.

Lin Xiaoyan looked at Xiao Bo and said, "Don't make your aunt work, let's just eat whatever we have."

Xiao Bo nodded, then got up and went to the kitchen to tell his mother.

Jin's mother: "Silly boy, the boss said that, and you're really not being polite! Come on, go out and entertain the guests, you don't need to stay in the kitchen!"

Xiao Bo was kicked out and helplessly touched his nose.

He glanced at the living room and saw that Lin Xiaoyan and Nanxi had gone out.

Lin Xiaoyan took some local specialties she had bought in the cities she had passed through earlier from the car. Nanxi took them and carried them into the house.

Upon seeing this, Xiao Bo immediately refused, saying, "Xiao Yan, Sister Nan, I don't want these."

Lin Xiaoyan looked at Xiao Bo and said, "Yes, it's not for you, it's for your uncle and aunt."

Xiao Bo: ...How come he became universally disliked after we got home?

Lin Xiaoyan looked at the vegetable garden opposite the Jin family's house. The garden was well-maintained, and tender green seedlings had already sprouted.

She glanced at them; some she recognized, others she had never seen before—they must be vegetables unique to this area.

"Bowa's back! He brought his girlfriend home!"

A middle-aged woman suddenly came into Lin Xiaoyan's line of sight. Lin Xiaoyan looked over and saw that the woman had high cheekbones, sunken cheeks, and was looking her up and down.

His face was shrewd; he looked like a difficult person to deal with.

When Xiao Bo saw who it was, his face darkened. "Auntie's here. Have you eaten?"

Aunt Jin's gaze swept over the car parked in the yard; it looked like a luxury car.

She had just picked up her grandson from school when she heard people in the village say that Bowa had returned in a luxury car.

"I haven't cooked yet. I just picked your brother up from school, and we're out of vegetables. I came to see if you have any."

Xiao Bo frowned. "Auntie, didn't you buy any groceries when you went to pick up Xiao Hao? We don't have any groceries either; my dad just went out to buy some."

Aunt Jin seemed oblivious to the implication and simply smiled, saying, "That's perfect! My family isn't cooking lunch today, so I'll come over for lunch!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Xiaoyan and Nanxi looked at Aunt Jin in surprise. This person... really has a thick skin!
Xiao Bo's face darkened immediately, and he refused, "No, Auntie, we have guests at home. You should borrow vegetables from another family."

Rejected, Aunt Jin was stunned. She saw that all three people in the yard were looking at her. She cursed Bo Wa in her heart for being so tactless and could only leave with a forced smile.

As Lin Xiaoyan watched Aunt Jin leave reluctantly, she thought of Jin's kind mother cooking in the kitchen.

He knew in his heart that, just as Xiao Bo had said, his aunt looked like someone who liked to bully others.

Before long, when Mr. Jin had not returned, another figure arrived at the Jin family home.

A boy of about seven or eight years old slowly walked over.

Jin Hao was forced by his grandmother to come and borrow vinegar.

"Grandma, my...my grandma asked me to...borrow some vinegar..." Jin Hao said timidly as he walked into the kitchen.

Upon hearing this, Jin's mother was angry, but she couldn't show it in front of her child. She took a small bowl, poured some vinegar into it, and handed it to Xiao Hao.

"Here, drive carefully, don't spill it."

"Okay, thank you, Madam." Jin Hao blushed, carefully took the vinegar, and walked back.

Actually, his grandmother meant that he shouldn't go home, but should eat lunch at his great-grandmother's house instead.

Although he didn't want to go home either, he felt too embarrassed to eat here.

"Sigh, if we weren't always on the road, I would have caught a puppy and taken it home to keep!"

Lin Xiaoyan walked and talked to Nanxi while looking back, not seeing the child coming out of the house.

By the time Nancy saw it, it was too late; the two collided, and the child sat directly on the ground.

Lin Xiaoyan snapped out of her daze, quickly helped the child up from the ground, and said, "I'm sorry."

However, the moment the child was knocked to the ground, he burst into tears, covered his bottom, rolled over, and stood up.

The vinegar was spilled all over the floor, and it also got on Lin Xiaoyan and Jin Hao.

Amidst the intense smell of vinegar, Lin Xiaoyan's face showed an expression of disbelief.

She remained squatting on the ground, her gaze fixed on the boy beside her who was crying while covering his bottom.
