This is the shortest article I have ever written, because I was afraid that if I wrote it too long, I would unconsciously fill it with words... It is still a purely emotional article. When I wrote the book about Xia Xia, there actually wasn't any big plot, the main focus was on the love line, but that book had a variety show as a highlight. When it came to this book, especially after writing UMA and having a taste of the excitement of the main plot, writing this book felt a bit... hiss... very bland.

But! As the saying goes, everything you do has meaning, but it may not be at the moment. I firmly believe that every book I write is useful. For example, halfway through writing this book, I suddenly realized that

Perhaps I am better at writing the main plot. Stories where the heroine only has one emotional line with the hero, and the entanglements that seem to be obvious and hidden are mixed in the plot that has already been framed, are less likely to collapse.

Actually, I have written nearly 10 million words, but I have never been clear about what I am good at and what I am not good at, because I have always been dissatisfied with the statement that traffic represents the quality of my writing.

From Yunzai to Jiuyin, this statement hit me hard and made me feel miserable. I even dared not write about the entertainment industry anymore because I felt that I was still wasting the fame of Variety and myself. So when I wrote Jiang Yue, I simply found a job to support myself, and then wrote late at night after get off work. That period was much more peaceful.

Until now, I don’t care so much anymore. It’s not easy for a person to find a hobby that he likes and can stick to in his life. If he can realize his shortcomings in this hobby and improve on it, then it’s a gain!
So just write, maybe it’s not here, or in your collection, but I will always keep writing.

However, I may not be able to write the second male lead and the Shura field plot (awkward), so I plan to abandon this point for the time being and give it a try.

The next book is about various murders. It will feature a male and female protagonist who are quite different from the previous ones. It is another new attempt. Life is all about trying. If you don’t write, you will never know whether you like it or not, or whether you are good at it or not.

Of course, if I suddenly have a new inspiration and can’t wait, I might change the subject matter, hehe.
