I'm in Conan, I'm not a gangster

Chapter 345 Rum's Conditions

Chapter 345 Rum's Conditions (1st Update)
"Oh? Rum contacted you?" Shiraishi E answered the phone, quite surprised to receive the news from Miyano Shiho.

He asked curiously, "What does he want with you?"

“He’s not looking for me, he’s looking for you.” Shiho Miyano’s voice carried a hint of weariness, but more so a calm analysis: “He sent an encrypted email using an old key from within the organization, trying to contact you.”

Shiraishi E raised an eyebrow, a playful smile playing on her lips: "Interesting, he actually came to me on his own initiative... Looks like he's run into trouble."

“I’m not sure what his true intentions are either.” Shiho Miyano paused for a moment. “I’ll send you his contact information. You can handle this.”

Before Shiraishi could respond, the call ended. A few seconds later, he received a text message from Miyano Shiho, containing an encrypted phone number.

However, he didn't call immediately. Instead, he spent about ten minutes quickly dealing with Mingmei's needs before leaving the locker room and heading to the indoor pool.

After buying a new phone from the bandit shop, Shiraishi entered the encrypted phone number.

After the call was connected, the other party did not speak immediately.

Shiraishi E chuckled and said, "What? Rum, are you planning to back down from me?"

After a brief silence, Rum's deep, hoarse voice came from the other end of the phone, devoid of any discernible emotion: "I can back down. But on the condition that—you do me a favor."

Shiraishi raised an eyebrow, then sat down on a beach chair, tapping the armrest lightly with her fingers, and said in a teasing tone, "Oh? The second-in-command of the Black Organization would actually ask me for help? How strange."

Rum ignored the provocative remark and said calmly, "I need a batch of weapons right now, the kind powerful enough to penetrate armored vehicles!"

"If you can deliver it within half an hour, I can cancel the organization's kill order against the Miyano sisters!"

"Oh?" A hint of surprise flashed in Shiraishi E's eyes. "So generous? You're not trying to trick me, are you?"

Rum had anticipated that the other party would be suspicious, after all, he would have felt the same way if he were in their shoes.

He explained calmly, “One of our experimental facilities was raided by the police and the FBI, and the experimental equipment and drug samples were seized. Now, we need to completely destroy them before they are transported back to the Metropolitan Police Department!”

After hearing this, Shiraishi E finally realized what was going on.

He never expected that his casual tinkering would produce such an unexpected surprise.

Shuichi Akai and Tooru Amuro are truly my lucky charms!
Rum's voice rang out again: "So? Can you provide it?"

"Of course," Shiraishi E leaned back in her chair and readily agreed.

Without wasting words, Rum said directly, "Large-caliber anti-materiel rifles, RPGs, armor-piercing rounds, the more the better! I'll give you an address, deliver them in half an hour."

After he finished speaking, he hung up the phone.

After hanging up the phone, Shiraishi E couldn't help but laugh and said, "Looks like this is going to be good!"

Without wasting any time, he got dressed and left the villa. On his way to the transaction location, he called the Miyano sisters and told them he would be leaving for a while.

--------------

In the mountains outside Tokyo, the night was deep, and a cold wind carrying the scent of damp earth rustled through the treetops.

Several dark figures silently gathered in a secluded clearing. Moonlight filtered through the gaps in the branches and leaves, outlining their cold, stern silhouettes.

Gin leaned against a thick tree trunk, his silver hair still striking in the darkness, a wisp of smoke rising slowly from the cigarette between his fingers.

Vodka stood beside him, glancing at his watch every now and then, looking anxious.

Besides these two, Chianti, Cohen, Kiel, and Vermouth also came.

"Boss, everyone's here, but what about the equipment?" Vodka lowered his voice, his brow furrowed. "We can't exactly go and fight the police and the FBI head-on with just pistols, can we?"

Gin glanced at him coldly, without answering, and took a deep drag on his cigarette, the embers flickering in the darkness.

Not far away, Chianti impatiently kicked at a pebble at her feet, her tone clearly showing her dissatisfaction: "What the hell is Rum doing? He's calling us to assemble before even preparing our equipment?"

Cohen stood silently beside her, his eyes scanning the surroundings warily, his fingers unconsciously rubbing the pistol at his waist.

Vermouth leaned against the hood of a black sedan, her red lips slightly upturned, her tone languid and playful: "Be patient, Rum will take care of it... He wouldn't make such a basic mistake." Kiel stood at the edge of the crowd, her expression calm, but a fleeting, almost imperceptible thought flickered in her eyes. She tilted her head slightly, seemingly listening to the sounds in the distance.

Just as everyone was whispering among themselves, the roar of an engine suddenly came from afar.

Everyone tensed up instantly, and their hands instinctively went to their weapons.

A truck without any markings slowly drove into the open space, its headlights piercing the darkness and making everyone squint.

The car door opened, and a familiar figure jumped out of the driver's seat.

Under the moonlight, that familiar bandit mask came into everyone's view.

"Hey everyone, sorry to keep you waiting." Shiraishi E waved lazily, her tone as relaxed as if she were just attending a friend's gathering.

The air solidified instantly.

Vodka's eyes widened, and he instinctively looked at Gin: "B-Big Brother, it's...it's this guy!! The notorious bandit Azu?"

Gin's pupils suddenly contracted, and the cigarette between his fingers was squeezed out of shape. His gaze was fixed on the ruthless bandit, and his killing intent was almost tangible.

He never expected that the delivery person would be the other party!
The thought of how he had been beaten badly several times before made his murderous intent boil over.

Chianti drew his pistol immediately and shouted sharply, "It's you?!"

Shiraishi E remained completely calm, instead smiling and raising her hands: "Don't be nervous, I'm here to deliver goods!"

Vermouth chuckled, a hint of amusement flashing in her eyes. "Interesting. Rum actually buys goods from you? I remember... you wanted to kill him!"

Shiraishi shrugged: "But that doesn't affect my business! A qualified arms dealer... doesn't let emotions control his brain."

He turned and patted the back of the truck: "Everything's in there, enough for you to fight a small war."

Gin ultimately said nothing. Now was not the time to deal with personal grudges; he needed to complete the mission first!

Vodka glanced at Gin's gloomy face, then at the truck loaded with weapons, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.

Kiel broke the silence at the opportune moment: "Time is of the essence, let's check the equipment first."

Gin ignored the thug and coldly uttered two words: "Unload."

Chianti and Cohen left to open the carriage door.

Inside, various heavy weapons were neatly arranged—anti-materiel rifles, RPGs, armor-piercing rounds, and even several sets of tactical equipment.

Their eyes lit up when they saw it.

Chianti whistled, "It has to be you... you can get your hands on anything! I've wanted to play this RPG for ages!!"

As she spoke, she eagerly took out the RPG launcher and played with it with great affection.

Cohen didn't say anything, he just silently carried the weapons.

Gin glanced at Vodka, who was still standing there dumbfounded, glaring indignantly at the thug, and said coldly, "Have you forgotten what Rum told you?"

"Oh..." Vodka came to his senses and remembered Rum's reward of asking him to bring two boxes of gold.

He really wanted to kill that ruthless bandit directly and double-cross him.

But Vodka only thought about it; he didn't dare say it out loud.

They hated them as much as they wanted, but they were simply no match for the other team!
So he walked to the rear of the black Porsche 356A, opened the trunk, took out two boxes of gold, placed them at the thug's feet, and said, "This is the payment!! More than you'll pay!!"

"Hehe, you guys are quite generous." Shiraishi E lifted a box of gold slightly and found it to be quite heavy.

Unexpectedly, while solving the Miyano sisters' problem, they also made a profit.
