Chapter 374 I won't arrest them, I'll just kill them

Chapter 374 I won't arrest them, I'll just kill them (2nd update)
After leaving the building, Shiraishi E drove to the small bar she had visited before.

As night fell, the wooden sign that read "Closed Today" still hung at the entrance of the Tokyo bar, and dim light shone through the glass windows, through which shadowy figures could be vaguely seen moving about.

He pushed open the door, and the doorbell rang crisply.

The pub was filled with the aroma of whiskey and tobacco. At the bar, Shuichi Akai and Tooru Amuro each occupied one end, silently drinking their drinks. The atmosphere was so heavy it seemed like water could be squeezed out of it.

"Sorry, there was a traffic jam on the way." Shiraishi E casually closed the door and said in a relaxed tone, "This is exactly the time when office workers are going home after working overtime."

Shuichi Akai didn't look up; he simply flicked the ash into the ashtray, his eyes unfathomable amidst the swirling smoke.

Amuro Tooru frowned, his fingers unconsciously tapping on the glass, and said with slight dissatisfaction, "Why is he here too? Didn't we agree to meet alone?"

Shiraishi walked straight to the center of the bar, poured herself a glass of chilled beer, and the foam piled up at the rim of the glass before slowly dissipating.

“I guess you two are both here because of Gin.” He tilted his head back and took a swig, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he said, “To save time, I’ll just have you meet up together.”

Amuro Tooru sneered: "How did you know I was looking for you because of Gin? Could it be something else?"

"If it weren't for Gin, I wouldn't bother with you either." Shiraishi E put down her glass, the bottom of the glass clinking against the bar.

These words were like a sudden punch to the gut, leaving Amuro Tooru speechless.

His face was gloomy. He suddenly grabbed the Scotch whisky in front of him, tilted his head back and drank it all in one gulp. The alcohol burned his throat, but he couldn't suppress the restlessness in his chest.

How annoying, this guy really guessed right!
Shuichi Akai finally spoke, his voice low and deep: "It seems we share the same goal..."

He stubbed out his cigarette, looked up and stared directly at Shiraishi E, saying, "Now I'm relieved. We can cooperate and rob Gin together."

Amuro Tooru glanced at Akai Shuichi at these words and snorted inwardly.

I never expected that this guy with thick eyebrows and big eyes would think the same way I did!
However, this did give him a huge sigh of relief, since facing Shuichi Akai as an enemy would be quite troublesome!

After hearing Shuichi Akai's words, Shiraishi raised an eyebrow, her fingers lightly tracing the rim of her glass, and asked curiously, "Isn't Gin already in your hands? Why are you still trying to take him away?"

Mentioning this made Amuro Tooru furious. He gritted his teeth and said, "Because those guys didn't want to torture Gin, and they didn't dare to torture him!"

Shuichi Akai added, his tone eerily calm: "The things Gin is involved in are too big. They don't dare to interrogate him, for fear of offending the big shots above them."

Upon hearing this, Shiraishi E's eyes flashed with understanding, and she said with a smile, "It seems that the organization's connections are not simple."

He scoffed, "Neither the police nor the FBI dare to investigate further. If they find anything, they'll easily get themselves into trouble."

After understanding their intentions, Shiraishi E shrugged: "So you two want to snatch Gin from them."

He suddenly flashed a dangerous smile: "That's a pity, my goals are different from yours. I'm not here to steal Gin—"

"Instead, we should go and kill him!"

These words caused both agents to pause, as if someone had pressed the pause button.

Amuro Tooru looked up in confusion and said, "Although you've fought with Gin a few times, is the hatred between you really that deep?"

He shook his head incredulously and said, "Not to mention it was all Gin who was beaten... You want to kill him? Isn't that a bit petty?" Shiraishi rolled her eyes: "I'm not that petty."

He swirled his glass, the ice clinking against the side, as if to answer: "Rum asked me to take care of Gin."

This answer greatly surprised the two of them!
They never imagined that it was Rum who wanted Gin dead!
Is it to shut Gin up?

Shuichi Akai leaned forward slightly and asked earnestly, "Is it Rum? Can you tell me why?"

"Rum told me that the boss ordered Gin to reveal some of the organization's members, using the FBI to clean up the factional issues within the organization," Shiraishi said calmly, as if discussing the weather. "Rum was furious, feeling that the boss was weakening him, so he ordered me to kill Gin as retaliation."

Shuichi Akai lit another cigarette thoughtfully, the smoke swirling in front of him: "I see... As far as I know, there are indeed quite a few factions within the organization."

He slowly exhaled a smoke ring and continued, "Generally speaking, there are the veteran faction, the newcomer faction, and the neutral faction. And within each faction, there are many smaller factions based on region. In short, the situation is very complicated."

“I was promoted by Rum, so I’m considered part of his faction,” Amuro Tooru replied, not hiding his situation.

He unconsciously twirled the empty glass in his hand and said, "Most of the names Gin mentioned are from the elders' faction."

Shiraishi E was exasperated by their analysis and raised his hand to interrupt them: "I don't care what faction they're from." He chuckled coldly, "In short, I'm going to kill Gin. Not even Jesus can stop him, I said it!"

These words were like a bucket of ice water poured over their heads. Shuichi Akai and Tooru Amuro's expressions instantly turned ugly.

They wanted to snatch Gin out and interrogate him alone, while the thug wanted to kill Gin—a conflict was inevitable!
The thought of a possible shootout gave both of them a headache.

Seeing the two people's unpredictable expressions, Shiraishi E suddenly smiled: "However, I don't really trust Rum."

He casually swirled his wine glass and said, "Perhaps he's just using this as an excuse to get rid of me."

"But..." He stood up, downed the last sip of beer, and said, "Since I'm just killing time anyway, I'll take it."

Shiraishi wiped the rim of her beer glass clean, and as she walked to the door, she turned back and dropped a bomb: "The attack is scheduled for six o'clock tomorrow morning. You guys quickly notify your friends in the Public Security Bureau and the FBI, and make up any excuse to leave that sewage treatment plant before six o'clock tomorrow."

A cold smile curled at the corner of his lips as he said, "Otherwise, if you die, don't blame me for not informing you."

Shuichi Akai and Tooru Amuro's expressions changed drastically. They hadn't expected that Ei Shiraishi had already found out where Gin was being held!

The two looked at each other and both saw surprise in each other's eyes!

This guy definitely got his information from Rum, and the information wasn't just any ordinary information!
The police and the FBI are like sieves that leak everywhere; they call themselves intelligence organizations, but they're more like public toilets!

The organization's members come and go as they please, and they can't keep any intelligence.

Shuichi Akai and Tooru Amuro initially felt somewhat guilty about what they were doing, but now they have no such concerns at all!
Even if they don't physically take Gin away, the organization will send someone to take him away.

In that case, it's better to let them take it!
Thinking of this, the two got up, hurriedly pushed open the door and went out, quickly took out their phones and began to urgently contact their close colleagues.

As for those with whom you don't have a good relationship, there's nothing you can do about it.
