Pressing the light switch, a warm yellow light filled the room. Apart from two beds and a wooden wardrobe, there was only a desk piled with blueprints next to the window.

The man walked in on the wooden planks, with two twins, who looked about four or five years old, hanging on either side of him.

The little girl has cute short orange hair, and her bright eyes seem to contain the brightest starlight. She is wearing a pure white nightgown.

The boy had neatly combed blond hair and wore thin-rimmed black glasses, giving him the appearance of a calm and composed young adult.

Reiner chuckled gently, placed the two children on the bed, and rested his chin on his hand.

"Looks like I'll be telling you all about my old adventures tonight. Go back to bed, Krista."

Reiner lifted the covers and put his daughter inside, then turned to look at the boy.

“And Carl too.”

"Never."

The little boy, Carl, turned his face away. Despite his young age, he was precocious enough to adjust his glasses with a serious expression, and said calmly:

"I'm past the age of falling asleep to stories, let alone these kinds of adventure stories that are just for fooling children. Only a naive kid like Krista, who dreams of becoming a pirate all day long, would believe them."

"Really? I heard from your mom that she found a Franky Gundam figure under your bed while cleaning."

Reiner gave him a disdainful look.

"That! That's it!"

Upon hearing this, Carlton blushed and vehemently defended himself:
"I bought it to study mechanical design recently because I thought its structural design was good."

"What about the straw hat from One Piece? And the 1:1 replica of Roronoa's sword, Wado Ichimonji, the world's greatest swordsman?"

Reiner smirked and said sarcastically, "What, you want to learn weaving and forging skills while you're at it, huh?"

"Hehehe, maybe, after all, Carl is a bookworm."

Krista covered her mouth and smiled along.

Upon hearing this, Carlton immediately became furious and shouted:
"Who are you calling a bookworm, you violent woman!"

"What did you say!"

Krista was so angry that she jumped out of bed, grabbed Karl's hair with both hands, and straddled him.

"You have to call me 'sister'!"

"Who wants to call you that, you stupid older sister? I was born first!"

Despite having his hands restrained, Karl still defiantly retorted.

"Stop talking nonsense! In this kind of thing, whoever is stronger gets to decide!"

"How could it be calculated like that! Let me go, you violent woman!"

Reiner: “.”

It seems that the enjoyable bedtime story segment has come to an end.

Looking at the two little ones arguing in front of him, Reiner shook his head and smiled helplessly.

The twins were naturally his and Nami's children; Karl was arguably the older brother, as Krista said, he was a real bookworm.

It's quite interesting that two pirates have a child who dreams of becoming a scientist. Although he doesn't seem to care much about pirates, he, like other little boys, yearns for heroism and is a loyal fan of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Krista, on the other hand, perfectly inherited his strong physique and Nami's lively personality. Ever since she started listening to his stories, she has longed for the unrestrained freedom of pirates and often talks about going to sea when she grows up.

After a while, seeing that the two little ones were almost tired of playing, Reiner separated them and picked them up like chicks, one in each hand.

With that, Reiner tossed them back onto their respective beds, one on each side.

"Wait a minute, Dad, you haven't told us a story yet."

“That’s right, that’s right. Although I’m not very interested either, adults should keep their word.” Krista and Karl both spoke up to stop him from leaving.

"Fine, fine, I really can't do anything with you guys."

Reiner sighed, sat down on the corner of the bed, gathered his thoughts, and after a while, said to the two of them:
"After we left Elbaf, we went to Laugh Tale and found the One Piece. Well, that's the end of the story."

Carl and Krista immediately jumped up, stood on the bed, and bared their teeth at him, yelling and complaining.

Krista hesitated, clearly unwilling to let this adventure story she had heard since childhood end so uneventfully.

Although he hates violence, Carl is naturally meticulous and can maintain a calm mindset in the face of any situation, much like Reiner and Nami.

Leiner smiled gently.
"The Great Treasure truly exists, and anyone who sees it will find it extremely precious."
