Chapter 60 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 60 Remarks on the launch
It's finally coming to the shelves
As I type this text, my mood is still very complicated.

After all, this is the first time for a new author to write a book and also the first time to put it on the shelves. I don’t know anything, ahem.
Okay, no more nonsense, let’s talk about something serious.

Let’s talk about this book first.

The inspiration for the book actually came to me two years ago. I also made some small preparations for the opening of the book this time, so at least it can’t be considered a sloppy opening.

But preparation aside, there is actually a lot of pressure when publishing a book—the pressure here is not financial, but emotional and physical.

Old readers should all know my situation. I am a single guy who is almost 40 years old and has a lot of health problems. My grandparents are not in good health either, and my uncle is still obsessed with the old man's inheritance. In short, all kinds of buffs are basically stacked up.

Especially my grandparents, both of whom are 96 years old. This year, my grandmother's condition has become much worse. She is only awake for one or two hours a day and may die at any time.

For the past period of time, I have had nightmares every day. I dreamed that my mother sent me a WeChat message in the middle of the night to tell me which elderly person had passed away. I would wake up at three or four in the morning to check my phone, and only when I saw that there was no notification bar on the lock screen would I breathe a sigh of relief and continue to sleep.

My own health is also quite bad. When I was writing "Walking Through the Department", I had surgery on my lungs, heart, and stomach. A blood vessel in my lung burst while I was sleeping in the middle of the night. I went to the hospital for emergency treatment with blood foaming in my mouth. I took Loril every day to prevent sudden death.

A few years ago, I still had the energy to do some small business, but in the past two years, I can only be a full-time coder.

All I can say is that every family has its own problems.

It is impossible not to feel anxious when opening a book under such circumstances.

Especially since I write niche articles, even though the threshold for this book has been lowered a lot, my writing style and habits will inevitably filter out many readers. But no matter what, I am quite satisfied to have come this far, especially when I meet some old readers, my whole mentality will be much calmer.

I'm just curious and wondering if there are still any old readers who have been following the updates since "Handbook for Conquering Another World"?
Let’s talk about putting it on the shelves.

The current number of readers of this book is over 2,000, which is almost exactly the same as before "Into Unscience" and "Handbook for Conquering Another World" were put on the shelves.

So my expectations are the same as the previous two books, with 1500 as the first order line, and the following rules for additional updates:

1. For every 100 subscriptions, a new chapter will be added.

2. For every 1000 monthly tickets, one more chapter will be added (double monthly tickets in January)
3. The leader will add three more chapters.

Originally, I had prepared some small gifts for the new book, such as the signatures of Qian Xuesen, Yu Min, and Yang Zhenning, etc. Another example is the physical copy of "Zou Ke" that I asked Academician Wang Xiji and Ms. Xu Luxi, the widow of Deng Jiaxian, to sign when I met them at the invitation of the Communist Youth League last year.

However, I haven’t decided whether to hold the event or not (mainly because it doesn’t feel appropriate to draw prizes with the autographs of these seniors, as the autographs were given to me by Atomic City). I’ll notify you later when I think of a suitable way.

Anyway, that's about the rules. It will be on the shelves as soon as it's past 12: tonight. It will be updated with words, and the introduction will be fulfilled! (There's really no introduction scam. When I opened the book, I said in the group that it will change only after it's on the shelves.)

I hope that you can support me by making a first order. I would be very grateful if you could enable automatic subscription.
