"At the age of twenty-nine, he decided to give up his life of luxury and devote his life to the pursuit of truth."

"So he left the palace, abandoned his property, said goodbye to his wife and son, and began his penniless wandering life."

"After six years of ascetic practice, Gautama meditated under a Bodhi tree and realized the truth that 'all things are impermanent, all defilements are suffering, all dharmas have no self, and nirvana is tranquility', and became an enlightened person."

"Did Mr. Murong understand anything from this story?" Xu Zhu suddenly asked.

Murong Xing thought for a moment and said, "So Gautama has a wife and children!"

Xu Zhu nodded and said, "Mr. Murong really has the Buddha nature. He can see the key point at a glance."

"Shakyamuni was originally a prince, and he had a rich material life. He not only had parents, but also a wife and children."

"It was because of his perfect life that Sakyamuni had the premise to think about life." "Therefore, I believe that if you have never been a prince and have never had a perfect life, you can't understand 'Buddha' at all, and naturally you can't become 'Buddha'!"

Xu Zhu continued, "Master Murong, do you have a fulfilling life?"

Murong Xing thought of the terrible situation at home, his face darkened, and he said, "No."

"Can you imagine a life with parents above you and a wife and children below you?" Xu Zhu asked again.

Murong Xing thought about it, if his parents were still alive, if he had a wife and children...

He really couldn't imagine it and could only shake his head.

"How can you have doubts about life like Sakyamuni when you don't even dare to imagine it?" Xu Zhu said: "The practice of our sect is to imitate Sakyamuni's path to becoming a Buddha."

"My sect calls it the Buddha's Path, the Path to Becoming a Buddha."

"Put yourself in the perspective of Sakyamuni, think what he thinks, think what he thinks, do what he does, and understand what he understands."

"Mr. Murong, you should know that when you look at a person, don't look at what he says, but look at what he does. Only in this way can you better understand him."

“Many questions and answers are not stupid, but the conditions are simply not there.”

“When you stand at a different height and have a different perspective, you will become different.”

"Our sect calls Sakyamuni's life as a prince 'Prince's Path'."

"After that, there is the 'Path of Asceticism' and the 'Path of Enlightenment'. The reason why most people cannot become Buddhas is because most people cannot reach the 'Path of the Prince'."

How can a poor person, an ordinary person imagine the life of a prince, and how can he understand the confusion of being a prince?

Naturally unimaginable!

Therefore, fundamentally poor and ordinary people cannot understand the prince.

Since they cannot understand, poor people cannot become Buddhas.

This is what Xu Zhu said.

You and Sakyamuni are not from the same world, so how can you learn from him?
Clear and reasonable.

Murong Xing felt something was wrong, but didn't know what to say.

At this time, Duan Yu on the side suddenly said: "According to what you said, is it not that if the prince does not live a perfect life, he cannot become a Buddha?"

Xu Zhu said: "Not bad!"

"Then the great monks of all ages, such as the five bhikkhus, the ten great disciples, Nagarjuna and other great monks, as well as all living beings, cannot become Buddhas either?"

Duan Yu had been familiar with Buddhist scriptures since childhood. He was studying the chess game played during the day when he suddenly heard Xu Zhu talking nonsense and could not help but refute him.

Xu Zhu simply said: "None of them surpasses Sakyamuni!"

Which serious monk says that he can surpass Sakyamuni?

Only an unserious monk would say that he is on par with the Buddha!

"They just continued Sakyamuni's teachings and put forward their own interpretations, but no one has surpassed Sakyamuni." Xu Zhu said seriously: "They can't, and neither can I."

"Now I can only practice Buddhism."

"Perhaps one day, I will have passed the 'Road of Princes', gone through the 'Road of Cultivation', and finally realized the 'Road of Enlightenment'. Only then will I be like Sakyamuni."

"By then, I may be able to try to surpass Sakyamuni."
