Chapter 161 Look at Me More (Female Character Related)
Warner Bros. Studio 25, Los Angeles.

Daddario and Amber are riding on a tall brown horse, and it's not a prop.

"So, with your delicious little cakes and my business background, we are successful! What do you think?" Amber sat in the front, holding a glass of frappuccino in her hand, wearing a white vest beside her and exaggerated plastic gold decorations on her neck and wrists, dressed like a "rich girl".

Daddario, who was sitting in the back, swallowed his drink and said absentmindedly, "You still have a horse!"

"Yes, we have a horse!" Amber smiled sweetly.

·
"Camera switch, look at the horse's face, where is the trainer? Make this damn thing turn around, yes, good." Terry snapped her fingers.

The two actresses "broke free" from their performance and their faces became calm. Several staff members immediately came over and prepared to take the two off the horses.

"I can do it myself." Amber refused, lifted her legs and got off the horse lightly.

Not bad riding skills.

Daddario seemed a little cautious and was helped by a female staff member to climb the ladder to the ground.

Then the two heroines came to Ryan consciously.

The two of them were deliberately differentiated in their dress and were almost on opposite sides.

Amber's blonde hair was straightened and treated with a highlighting mask, making her hair look very smooth and reflecting light under the indoor lights.

Daddario's brown hair was covered with many wig pieces, deliberately making the hair look complex, thick and full.

In terms of clothing, Amber wore a vest and shorts, with platform high heels on her feet, and her makeup was obviously inspired by Paris Hilton.

Daddario wore long pants, a long coat, long boots, and a jacket, which gave the look a layered look.

This is the result of deliberate shaping by the stylist, who distinguishes the two visually. This opposition makes the two form a whole, the so-called "partners", with friendship being the key word.

However, when the camera was turned off, the two of them did not act like the lively couple cooperating with each other as they did in the drama. In fact, when they walked over, they did not even glance at each other.

Ryan sat with his legs crossed on a short folding chair. He usually did nothing on the set. He just sat there and played the role of a "supervisor". He had only one identity - a producer.

In addition to being the screenwriter, Ryan is also the co-executive producer of the series. Julie is the executive producer and is standing next to Ryan at the moment.

"That was good," Ryan tried to say. He couldn't really tell, but the pilot had been filmed anyway, so he had to come over.

For a TV series, the biggest hurdle is after the pilot episode is aired - subscriptions.

The TV station will decide whether to sign a formal broadcast contract based on the ratings, commonly known as "subscription". Although the TV station will not bear all the production costs, it will bear part of it. Whether a TV series can be subscribed by the TV station is the first hurdle for a TV series. If a TV series can't even pass the TV station's hurdle, how can it attract audiences?
In other words, if the TV station does not order it, there is no need to continue filming the TV series. The crew will be disbanded, and all the actors, directors, and staff, including producers and screenwriters, will be unemployed. All the initial investment, including the cost of setting up the scene, will be wasted.

It sounds a bit cruel, but it means that both producers and broadcasters have the opportunity to trial and error, which is a business model that is gradually forming in the industry.

Another feature of TV series is that they are produced while being filmed. To put it bluntly, this is to control costs. TV stations have the right to directly cut off a series based on ratings.

"The editing will be completed within a week. I will ask Terry to keep an eye on it. After the editing is completed, the sample will be sent to several major TV stations for internal evaluation..." said the chubby Julie. Julie had mentioned the TV industry trade show before, but Ryan really didn't have time, so he could only take a simpler plan.

"What is the specific evaluation method?" Ryan asked.

"Each network has its own specific approach to this, but they will organize executives and audience panels to watch the show to assess the ratings potential, advertising revenue, and audience fit."

There are analytical reports on which audiences a TV series will attract, what age groups these audiences are in, and in which specific regions. This is done to allow sponsors and advertisers to have a psychological estimate of their advertising spending.

"Ok." Ryan nodded. Julie had produced two dramas this year, so she was familiar with the process. As for Trey, there was no need to ask too many questions.

These two women are the key to Ryan's ability to be a hands-off boss.

As for the other two women.

Daddario and Ryan looked at each other, then shook their hair and turned away.

"Ryan, how long will you stay in Los Angeles this time?" Amber came over enthusiastically. "Only two days at most," Ryan said.

"Then you tonight..." Amber threw a wink at Ryan.

"I have to have dinner with Julie and Terry tonight," Ryan said casually, but he actually had other plans.

"Then I'll wait for you after dinner." Amber smiled flatteringly, eager to throw herself into his arms.

"Tomorrow, you don't have anything to do tomorrow afternoon, right?" Ryan seemed to be thinking, and naturally knew what Amber wanted to do.

"Then I'll book a room and send you the number tomorrow at noon." Amber blinked.

·
"Why did Amber change my lines? I had more scenes than her in the pilot, and I am the leading actress," Daddario complained.

"Ryan, she bullied me! Tray didn't do anything about it, you have to give me justice!" Daddario continued to mutter.

"Ryan?" Daddario, who was leaning on the table, turned around and found Ryan lying on the bed, playing with his cell phone, and didn't hear what she was saying at all.

Daddario grabbed a pen from the table and threw it at him.

Ryan just managed to roll over and avoid the attack.

"Who are you talking to?" Daddario asked in a stern tone, sitting on the edge of the bed sullenly, waiting for Ryan to coax him.

"Okay, I know you're feeling unbalanced. Go get the stuff out of my coat pocket." Ryan said without even raising his head.

Daddario stood up and walked out of the room. About ten seconds later, he let out a cheer that was almost like a "howl" and his facial expression was extremely surprised. He trotted back in his hand, holding a small square box with the "Harry Winston" logo on it.

"Help me open it!" Daddario pushed Ryan.

Ryan put down his phone and slowly opened the box. Inside was a diamond ring. Although it was not as exaggerated as Taylor's, only one-fifth of the size, it still made Dadari unable to control himself and he covered his mouth with his hands.

Ryan pulled her hand over and put the ring on her ring finger.

"It's really beautiful." Daddario lowered his head and looked at it again and again, with an intoxicated expression.

This is a rare time when Ryan keeps his promise. Although Daddario complains a lot, the root of the problem lies here.

"Hubby, hubby, hubby..." Daddario called sweetly.

Ryan nodded, as if to agree, but in fact he knew in his heart that she was more dissatisfied with her treatment. If Taylor was not around, she would have other demands.

"Don't compete with Taylor for favors from now on. You two will be sisters from now on." Ryan grabbed her arm and stroked it.

"So do you like her more, or do you like me more?"

"Of course I like you more." Ryan said without thinking.

"Liar." Daddario cursed with a smile, but he felt good listening to it.

"When will you let me change my last name?"

"Well... there's no rush." Ryan smiled reluctantly.

"Yeah, I'm still a rat in the sewer." Daddario sighed.

"Forget it, what else can I do? If anyone asks me, I'll just say I'm already engaged."

"I won't cause you any trouble, but you have to be nice to me and compensate me double in private! If you look at her more, you have to look at me twice more." Daddario said, hugging Ryan's head.
