Chapter 66 Cheese Pizza
"Of course I know you." Ryan smiled politely.

"You are no worse than Leo when he was young, and you are even stronger than him. Can I touch it?" she said, pointing at Ryan's arm.

Come up and touch it.

"As you can see, I'm working now." Ryan pointed to the monitoring headset on one ear.

DJs always like to wear only one ear on stage, not because they want to look unique, but because the monitoring headphones have two channels, and wearing one ear during non-song-changing periods can make the sound clearer.

"So later..." She quickly reported a three-digit number.

"What?" Ryan indicated he didn't hear clearly.

"Room number." Paris Hilton said in a clip voice.

"Sorry, I'm not a guest, so I have to be busy until late." Ryan made an excuse. In fact, there were six DJs at the party, including him and Joel, and everyone took turns working.

"I'll wait for you." Paris turned and left.

She passed Joel, who turned around to look at her drumstick, which was shaped by her slim jumpsuit.

"I just sneaked some dessert here and it tasted really good. What did she tell you?" Joel asked.

Ryan shrugged and told Joel a room number: "There will be a beautiful woman waiting for you in the room. I have already paid. You can go in and enjoy it directly."

Joel shook his head. “Ryan, I know I’ve been a great help to you, but you’re being too polite.”

"To go or not to go?"

"How dare I disobey your kind arrangement?" Qiao Er smiled.

To express his gratitude, Joel took over the DJ booth, allowing Ryan to move freely for a while.

Ryan was also dressed in white today and disappeared into the crowd. He first looked to the left, where Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri were holding glasses and talking about something. Then he looked to the right, where Mary J. Blige was whispering with two black female singers under Diddy. Behind the three of them, Ryan also saw musician Tommy Lee and producer Russell Simmons, as well as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger and her current boyfriend Hamilton... It seemed that everyone had something to do.

"Don't stand here like a log. Go get a glass of wine, or even find a girl who's interested in you. Or find a suitable partner. Maybe your destiny will change because of this party." A voice suddenly came from behind.

Ryan turned around and saw Scooter in a white suit.

Scooter then pointed to a white man not far away.

He looked to be about the same height as Ryan, with his hair combed up and a light mustache.

"Robin Thicke, known as the white person who looks most like black people, his father is Alan Thicke, the father in Growing Pains. At least in the current venue, he is the man who sings soul music best." Scooter pushed Ryan gently.

Ryan had no choice but to walk over and picked up a glass of brandy produced by Ciroc Distillery. As the sponsor of the party, the logo of the distillery could be seen everywhere in the venue. After Elena left last night, Ryan looked up a lot of information and found out that P. Diddy owned half of the shares of Ciroc's North American branch.

Standing with Robin Thicke was LL Cool J, a veteran artist from Def Jam. The two were originally talking when Cool J first noticed Ryan and pushed Robin Thicke.

"Ryan! Come here! I saw your song on the billboard." As he said this, he imitated Harlem and swayed a few times, then gave Ryan a warm hug, showing his big white teeth.

"What are you working on lately?" Robin Thicke asked casually. While speaking, he glanced at Cool J beside him and the two exchanged glances. "Working on a new song."

"New song? Obviously, I think this one might be as good as Harlem Rock." Robin Thicke imagined. He didn't mention Tremor because this song is still only played in nightclubs and parties in the United States and is not as popular as in Europe.

Then Robin Thicke naturally asked Ryan about the new song.

When Robin heard Ryan express the need to find a collaborator, he immediately volunteered, saying that his third solo album "Something Else" would be released in the second half of this year, and he also wanted to try a different style of songs.

It can be said that he and Ryan hit it off so well that Ryan himself felt that the invitation to cooperate was a little too smooth.

Halfway through the negotiation, Scooter came over and joined the discussion. With his mediation, all the work including recording was put on the agenda. In less than ten minutes, the collaboration between Ryan and Robin Thicke was officially completed.

It was also during this process that more and more guests came to the party in pure white Rolls-Royces, and the crowd at the party became increasingly dense.

Robin Thicke was almost on good terms with Ryan at this point. He put his arm around Ryan's shoulders and whispered in his ear, "The White Party is only held during the day. At night it's not called that anymore, it's called 'freak-offs', which are much more interesting than these hypocrites in white clothes and black hearts."

Ryan did not respond, but left on the pretext of his DJ work.

At this time, Joel was still standing on the DJ stand. Behind the DJ stand was a simple resting place for DJs. Ryan walked over and found that there was already someone waiting here. Judging from her attire, it turned out to be a female DJ. At least from the appearance, she was probably about the same age as Taylor. Compared with Taylor, her facial features were smaller and more delicate, and she could be called a "beauty".

Female DJs are a rare thing. Although there are female DJs in nightclubs, most of them are just for show, and they are essentially no different from those who dance gogo in nightclubs. Of course, there are very few female DJs who are genuine. Considering the specifications of the party, Ryan thinks that the one in front of him should belong to the latter.

So he took the initiative to go up and talk to him, and strangely enough, the other party also called himself Ray.

"What a funny coincidence. You can call me Rachel," she explained with a smile.

In her conversation, she calls herself an avant-garde photographer, artist, casting director, and has many titles.

This reminds Ryan of Paris Hilton, who has many titles: singer, socialite, artist, heiress. In a sense, this is not a good thing, proving that this person's need for communication is greater than substance.

"Casting director?" Ryan felt curious about the title.

"Help the photographer choose models." Rachel said, and then mentioned the names of several avant-garde art photographers that Ryan didn't know at all.

Ryan nodded, and the two sides chatted casually for a while after that. At this time, the venue became more and more crowded, and the guests had basically arrived.

"Why are you hiding here? I've been looking for you for a long time." A stranger suddenly appeared behind Ryan, and this person was running towards Rachel.

This was a bald black man with a strange baby face. He kissed Rachel passionately on the cheek, putting his arms around her waist.

Scooter then whispered something to Rachel, without putting his hands down. The two spoke in low voices and kept their distance, so Ryan couldn't hear the details of the conversation.

"Ok, I'll do as you say. The cheese pizza will be delivered in the evening. We have an important guest today." He glanced at Ryan before leaving.

There was a commotion outside...

Ryan suddenly realized, here comes Old D?
