Hogwarts: This Dark Lord is so evil.

Chapter 10 Tom's Collection

Chapter 10 Tom's Collection

Tom stopped screaming and stared at the wardrobe, his black eyes flashing with excitement again.

Obviously, Dumbledore's move really frightened him.

Li Weide also set his eyes on the wardrobe.

Because he knew that without a special reason, Dumbledore would never take such a drastic approach even if he wanted to show off his magic.

Facts have proved that it is true.

Dumbledore said calmly, "I think something is about to come out of your closet."

Sure enough, there was a creaking sound in the closet, and Tom suddenly looked a little scared.

"Open the door," said Dumbledore without question.

Tom hesitated for a moment, but finally walked over and opened the closet door.

On the top shelf of the wardrobe, a cardboard box sat on top of a pile of worn-out clothes.

"Show it to me," said Dumbledore.

Tom panicked when he heard that, and his hands even trembled when he took out the box.

"Is there anything in the box that you should not have?" asked Dumbledore.

Tom lowered his head, his lips pursed tightly, and his hands rested hesitantly on the lid of the box.

Dumbledore noticed that his eyes glanced at Levitra, who had been silent beside him, and seemed reluctant to open the box in front of him.

"Tom?" Dumbledore reminded again.

"Yes, I think so, sir," he said finally dully, slowly opening the box and falling onto the bed.

It was a jumble of commonplace trinkets, including a yo-yo, a silver thimble, and a tarnished harmonica.

When the box was empty, they stopped trembling and lay quietly on the thin sheets.

"You return them to their respective owners and apologize," Dumbledore said calmly, putting the wand back into his jacket.

"I'll know if you did. And I'll also warn you that stealing is not tolerated at Hogwarts."

Tom glanced at Li Weide, who seemed to be smiling beside him, and grasped the lid of the box tightly with both hands, his face full of embarrassment.

He would rather be locked up in a dark room for a month than give that bastard Li Weide the chance to laugh at him again!

but now……

Finally he responded in a voice that Dumbledore could barely make out, "Yes, sir..."

"At Hogwarts," Dumbledore went on, "we teach you not only to use magic, but also to control it."

"You have been, unknowingly... I am certain that the way you use magic is neither what is taught in our school nor what we would tolerate."

"You are not the first, nor will you be the last, to have magic get out of control in your hands. But you should know that Hogwarts can expel students, and that the Ministry of Magic... yes, there is such a department."

"It punishes those who break the law more severely. All new wizards who enter our world must accept this and obey our laws."

"Yes, sir," Tom responded, and suddenly asked, "But why are you only talking about me? I'm not the only one using magic here." As he said that, his eyes turned to Li Weide who had been watching the show for a long time.

"That's because Vader never lets innocent people become the targets of his spells..."

Dumbledore's gaze on Tom also became sharp. "I know very well what you have done in the past, Tom. Especially what you did to Amy and Dennis in that cave..."

Tom turned pale, his lips trembled, and he said nothing more. After all, what Dumbledore said was true.

Li Wei De had indeed not used any magic on other ordinary people in the orphanage like himself...

Because he thinks this behavior is childish and boring... Well, he must think I am childish and boring now!
Thinking of Li Weide's mocking eyes, Tom felt humiliated again.

I've clearly made up my mind not to give this bastard another chance to mock me...

Dumbledore looked at Levitra and asked gently, "Wade, are you willing to help me supervise Tom?"

"Of course, Professor. In fact, he has already begun to change. These things may just be things he hasn't had time to return yet."

Li Weide took the box from Tom and put the things back in it.

"I will work with him to return these things to their owners."

Tom looked up at Li Weide with some surprise, his expression puzzled.

"I feel relieved to have you watching over me, Wade..." Dumbledore said, looking at Tom again. "Tom, I'm glad that you have indeed changed a lot recently. I hope you can continue like this and not make the same mistakes again. Magic is amazing, but it is also very easy to get out of control... I don't want it to get out of control again in your hands."

Tom nodded expressionlessly, "I understand, sir."

Levitra put the box aside and asked, "Does it cost tuition to go to Hogwarts? As you can see, Tom and I are penniless..."

Hearing Levid asking the key question, Tom no longer cared about the discomfort in his heart, and looked at Dumbledore with the same concerned look.

"Oh, that's easy to solve..." Dumbledore took out two leather purses from his pocket, "Hogwarts has set up a fund to help needy students who need to buy books and robes. You need to buy some second-hand spell books and the like, but..."

"Where can I buy a spell book?" Riddle interrupted him, took a heavy purse without thanking Dumbledore, and then took out a fat gold Galleon and examined it carefully.

Now Tom is more eager than ever to become stronger! Buying a spell book and learning magic is the easiest way!

"In Diagon Alley, I can take you to buy everything you need..."

"You're coming with us?" asked Tom.

"Of course, if you want."

"No, I..." After seeing that Levitra did not stop him, Tom continued, "We don't need you. We can do it on our own. You just need to tell us the address of Diagon Alley."

Tom now wished Dumbledore would leave immediately. How could he be willing to let Dumbledore go shopping with him?
Dumbledore did not insist, but gave the two envelopes containing the admission letters and shopping lists to Levi and Tom respectively.

After giving them detailed instructions on how to get to the Leaky Cauldron and other precautions, Dumbledore got up and left.

After Dumbledore left for a while, Tom weighed the leather purse in his hand and couldn't help asking, "When are you going to that...Diagon Alley to buy something?"

Li Weide picked up the box on the bed, a smile on his face, "Of course, after returning these little gadgets of yours to their owners."

Hearing this, Tom's pale face turned red again...
