The First Sword of the Universe

Chapter 414 Six-Pulse Divine Sword and Flaming Blade, Kumārajīva's Battle Intent is Intense

Chapter 414 Six Meridian Divine Sword and Flaming Blade, Kumārajīva's Battle Intent is Intense
"Our Dali Duan family's One-Finger Divine Skill and Six-Meridian Divine Sword are second to none, no one or no sect in the world. Why should we seek the martial arts of others?"

Master Kurong flatly rejected Kumārajīva's request, which also made Benyin, Benguan, Benxiang, and Bencan realize their mistake and put away their greed.

Seeing this, Kumārajīva sighed and exclaimed twice, "What a pity! What a pity! This humble monk thought this trip would go smoothly and that we would be able to pay our respects to the spirit of Master Murong, but I did not expect Master Kurong to be so stubborn and inflexible."

"Many years ago, the ruler of my Tibetan Kingdom wanted to hold a martial arts contest with the Dali Kingdom. It was this humble monk who, fearing the loss of lives, strongly advised against it. I never expected to reap such consequences today."

Master Kurong's voice turned cold: "Does the Ming King intend to coerce us by using the Tibetan prime minister as leverage?"

Kumārajīva smiled faintly: "This humble monk merely believes that Mr. Murong's high praise for the Six Meridians Divine Sword of Tianlong Temple back then was probably just a misinterpretation of rumors; in this humble monk's opinion, I doubt anyone in your Tianlong Temple could learn the Six Meridians Divine Sword, because the conditions for mastering it are too demanding, and almost no one can meet them."

"How could Master Kurong value such an inanimate object so highly, even disregarding the friendship between our Tubo Kingdom and Dali Kingdom? Doesn't that make him seem foolish and ignorant?"

The four men's expressions changed. How could they tolerate Kumārajīva calling their uncle foolish to their faces?
Master Kurong calmly said, "Let's put aside the matter between my Dali Kingdom and the Tubo Kingdom for now. There is one thing I don't understand and would like to ask the Ming King: Even worldly disciples like Emperor Baoding don't know about the Six Meridians Divine Sword hidden in my Tianlong Temple. How did Murong Bo find out about it?"

Kumārajīva slowly walked to the pile of broken copper and iron at the door, picked up the intact small golden treasure chest in the middle, and threw it outwards.

The Tibetan monks waiting outside immediately caught him!

Kumārajīva then turned around and said, "Mr. Murong is proficient in the martial arts of all schools and sects under heaven, which is why he has earned the reputation of 'using their own methods against them'; although Mr. Murong has not had the opportunity to see your Dali Duan family's One-Finger Divine Skill and Six-Meridian Divine Sword, he still knows a lot about the Six-Meridian Divine Sword."

"The Six Meridian Divine Sword is entirely based on condensing qi into a sword; without sufficient internal energy, it is simply impossible to master it."

"Master Murong once said that the internal energy required for the Six Meridians Divine Sword is countless, and I'm afraid no one in the entire world can meet that requirement."

Master Kurong sighed, "It seems that Mr. Murong is indeed learned and talented; however, the Six Meridians Divine Sword is the foundation of our Dali Kingdom and cannot be passed on to outsiders. I hope Your Majesty will understand. Benyin, see the guest out!"

Upon hearing this, Abbot Benyin stood up, clasped his hands together in prayer towards Kumārajīva, and said, "Wang Mingwang, please!"

The warm smile on Kumārajīva's face vanished, replaced by a solemn expression and cold glint in his eyes: "Master Kurong, since I have come here, I must accomplish my purpose; I have long heard that Master Kurong's Zen has reached an extremely profound level, and I, though unworthy, wish to learn a thing or two from you."

Abbot Benyin frowned: "Your Majesty, this is not appropriate. My uncle has been in seclusion for many years and is unwilling to fight. I hope..."

Before he could finish speaking, Kumārajīva shouted, "Stop making excuses! Abbot Benyin, please step aside!"

As he spoke, he raised his arm and pushed out with a palm.

The palm strike was not fast, but its force was powerful, covering all the vital parts of Abbot Benyin's body, forcing him to raise his arm to resist it!

Bang!
With a loud bang, Abbot Benyin was sent flying backward, landing right in front of the futon where he had been sitting before, before finally stopping.

From this one move, it can be seen that Kumārajīva's martial arts skills are far superior to those of Abbot Benyin; otherwise, it would be impossible for him to control the timing so precisely, allowing the abbot to retreat without making a single mistake.

"Insolence!" Ben Guan, Ben Xiang, and Ben Can's expressions changed drastically. They were about to make a move when Kumārajīva was faster than them.

"Master Kurong, please take a look at my Flaming Blade and tell me how it compares to your Tianlong Temple's Six Meridian Divine Sword."

With a loud shout, Kumārajīva raised his right palm and slashed forward.

A red light emanated from the edge of his palm, expanding in the wind until it instantly transformed into a long, fiery blade, about ten feet tall and three feet wide, radiating brilliant red light and billowing flames.

A flash of red light appeared in the air.

The flaming longsword, about ten feet in size, had already rushed into the area about ten feet behind Master Kuru.

The strong wind blew Master Ku Rong's robes first, making them flutter loudly.

"Uncle-Master, be careful!"

Upon seeing this, the four people exclaimed in surprise.

scoff!

A faint whooshing sound filled the air.

A sword light, as white as jade, shot up from Master Kurong's arms, circled in the air, and then shot out, colliding with the flaming longsword.

Bang!
A ring of energy exploded outwards.

The blazing blade light was obstructed, and it retreated about ten feet.

Kumārajīva's eyes lit up, and he laughed heartily, "Master Kurong, is this one of the Six Meridian Divine Swords? It is indeed extraordinary. Let's fight again!"

As he spoke, he waved his hands left and right, remotely controlling the flaming longsword to launch several attacks, each aimed at Master Kuru's back.

Aggressive and domineering!
Master Kurong remained seated facing the wall in meditation, but the jade-white sword light surrounded him, swirling and dancing, protecting him completely.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang.
The gleaming white sword light clashed fiercely with the blazing longsword, creating continuous explosions of energy.

For a time, the two fought fiercely!
Because the abbot was annoyed by Kumārajīva's arrogance and domineering attitude, he raised his right middle finger and pointed it forward.

A white sword light shot out, rushing towards Kumārajīva with lightning speed, its momentum incomparably fierce.

"Just in time!"

Kumārajīva slashed forward with his left palm, unleashing another burst of blazing sword light that sent the approaching Heavenly Surge Sword light flying backward. Abbot Benyin quickly held his breath and focused his mind, bringing the returning sword light back under his control. His heart sank: "This Great Wheel King's skill is truly formidable. He attacked my uncle with one hand, yet he still managed to repel me with the other."

The flaming longsword that came at him shattered the second half of his thought, and he quickly wielded the Heavenly Surge Sword to meet it.

Thump thump thump thump thump thump.
A series of explosive bursts of energy clashed and impacted, plunging the entire hall into a fierce battle.

Kumārajīva wielded two flaming longswords, launching a fierce attack on Master Kurong and Abbot Benyin.

Every strike is explosive, every strike is domineering, every strike is fierce, every strike is violent.

Although the sword light of Master Kurong and Abbot Benyin was fierce and unparalleled, piercing through everything, it still could not withstand the slashing and impact of the flaming longsword.

Kumārajīva's martial arts skills far exceeded the imagination of the people of Tianlong Temple.

Ben Guan, Ben Xiang, and Ben Can, who were standing to the side, looked at each other with furrowed brows as they watched the fierce battle before them.

Ben Guan said in a deep voice, "We will also join forces. We must not let the Great Wheel King underestimate the Six Meridians Divine Sword of my Tianlong Temple."

"What you say is absolutely right, Senior Brother!"

The other two agreed in unison.

Then, the three of them raised their arms together and pointed forward with one finger.

scoff!

Chill!

Tsk~~!

Three sounds, some soft and some heavy, cut through the air.

Three sword beams, each ten feet long, of green, purple, and yellow, shot out. Halfway through their flight, they suddenly separated and pierced towards Kumārajīva from the left, center, and right.

"Hahaha, it's good that you've all come together. It'll be a good opportunity for this humble monk to experience the Six Meridians Divine Sword and see if it's all hype!"

Kumārajīva laughed heartily and slashed down three times in succession. Three flaming longswords appeared out of nowhere, tearing through the sky and colliding with the three sword lights that shot towards him.

Kumārajīva alone wielded five flaming longswords, rampaging through the hall, slashing and hacking wildly, fiercely battling against the five sword lights.

Inside the main hall.
In an instant, sword energy surged and blade light flashed across the sky.

Wherever they went.
Long knife and sword marks appeared on the bluestone floor.

They intertwined and spread rapidly, quickly dividing, splitting, and pulverizing the bluestone floor from large to small.
The massive red beams, requiring two people to encircle, also met their end. They were either pierced by the Six Meridian Divine Sword with holes of varying sizes, or severed in half by the flaming longsword.
bang bang bang bang bang bang bang
The sounds of explosive energy were deafening; the violent winds swept in all directions, swirling up the stone dust and wood chips that had been shattered by the flaming longsword and the six-meridian divine sword, sending them tumbling and rolling far away.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The doorframes and many windows of the main hall were violently smashed open, and large amounts of smoke and dust flew out.

Without the support of its main pillar, the entire Muni Temple began to succumb to its weight and teetered on the brink of collapse.

"Not enough! Not enough! The Six Meridian Divine Sword should have six sword energies, but the five of you can only control five. You are still missing one, so it is incomplete and you have truly disappointed this humble monk."

In the center of the hall, Kumārajīva shouted loudly. At this moment, the previous compassion and peace on his face had been lost. His eyes were sharp as lightning, his face was full of fighting spirit, and his aura was rising and surging, like an invincible war god.

With his loud shout, the five flaming longswords surged with power, their raging flames illuminating the entire hall, sometimes radiating red light, sometimes flickering between light and darkness.

The five sword lights that were fighting against it were forced to retreat step by step, seemingly unable to resist.

"Don't be mad!"

Master Kurong finally stood up, turned around, and revealed a face so terrifying it could frighten a child to tears.

One half of his face was as smooth as a baby's, full of life; the other half was emaciated, resembling a skeleton.

This strange phenomenon is an outward manifestation that appears after the Zen practice of withering and flourishing has reached an extremely profound level.

Master Kurong turned around, pointed his finger, and another blue sword light shot out, dodging the five fiercely battling flaming longswords, and rushing towards Kumārajīva in the center of the hall.

A fanatical expression appeared on Kumārajīva's face. He slashed forward with his palm, and the sixth flaming longsword shot out, colliding fiercely with the blue sword light.

"Hahaha, that's more like it! The Six Meridians Divine Sword should have six sword lights!"

"Today, let's see whether your Tianlong Temple's Six Meridian Divine Sword is more powerful, or this humble monk's Flaming Saber."

Kumārajīva laughed wildly, his yellow monk's robe billowing and fluttering.

With his arms held in a circle in front of his chest, he continuously rolled them, wielding the six flaming longswords around him to slash, chop, cut, and slice, sweeping across the battlefield with unstoppable force.

The fundamental cause, the fundamental view, the fundamental nature, and the fundamental reference.
The four could no longer remain still, so they immediately moved and circled around Kumārajīva, while simultaneously manipulating their sword energy to create even more ingenious variations.
