Chapter 343 True and False
The bridge was noisy as people gathered around "Pakado," denouncing the Palu orcs' outrageous behavior.

Horus snorted coldly, and the scene fell silent.

"Did your leader, the leader of the Palu orcs, deliberately send you here to humiliate us? Do you really think this will scare us away? Ridiculous! Prepare to face our wrath! You will be mercilessly destroyed by the human empire, and the so-called orc god will never appear!"

Horus's bold words had a magical power, stirring the emotions of everyone on the bridge.

"Lord Horus is right! The Palu Orcs will surely be destroyed!"

"In the name of the God-Emperor, you will pay a terrible price for your actions!"

Faced with the crowd's agitation, Paccard remained calm and composed:

"The Emperor's Exodus," Chapter 3, The Catastrophe, Page 9, The Emperor's Words:

"If a nation is guilty of two of the four vices—arrogance, prejudice, shortsightedness, and blind faith—it will be destroyed."

"After leaving the Human Empire, I suddenly discovered that the Human Empire possessed all four of these negative characteristics, yet it was not destroyed. Do you know why?"

Paccard used High Gothic, not Orcish slang, to more accurately convey the Emperor's quotes he was quoting.

The sailors of the Apostate era did not read the classic works of the Empire, but prayed daily to the scriptures compiled by the state religion. How could they know about obscure books like "Exodus of the Emperor"?

They mocked Paccado for being pretentious, or continued to shout at him.

Horus, however, remained relatively calm.

"Quiet, let me talk to this vile orc." Horus raised his right hand, clenched his fist, and gestured for everyone to be quiet.

He crossed his arms and gestured with his chin toward Paccardo:
"Your ascension ceremony is estimated to end within 24 hours, while we can reach the ascension site via the network in just one hour. I know you're stalling for time. I'll give you five minutes to say what you have to say. I'm not giving you Paru orcs a chance to beg for mercy, but rather to see what kind of trouble an orc with Makado's genes can cause. Now, the timer starts."

"Click." The mechanical sage next to him pressed the timer.

Packard said slowly and deliberately:

"Horus, I admit you know our situation well. Likewise, we know yours perfectly well. At the Ascension site, we have prepared a death feast, and you are the guests. You, and everyone on these two thousand-plus warships, will turn into cosmic dust."

Horus kept his arms crossed, staring coldly at Paccard, without saying a word.

Paccard continued:

"Both Lord Paru and I were born of humanity. We do not wish to see the human empire crippled by the schemes of the Chaos God..."

Horus said coldly:

"If that's really what you think, then go and persuade your master to stop ascending, instead of wasting time here."

Paccard remained unmoved and continued from the previous paragraph:

"We don't want to see the human empire crippled by the Chaos God's schemes, but that doesn't mean we'll back down. I'll tell you now what's going to happen next."

"In 50 minutes, you will find that the Eldar network route map they gave you is a dead end. Eldar spies lurking among you will carry out a series of sabotage operations, leaving the fleet stranded."

"The gate to the Web Path you passed through when you came will be permanently closed by the Eldar, and all of you will be trapped in the Web Path space."

"At the same time, the warp rift in Karata began to expand. This was the work of the Eldar, who released the seal without consulting you."

"Within minutes, the rift will cover the entire Webspace, the golden gate will face the Warp, and your Emperors and God-Emperors will sit on their thrones, facing the end of Terra."

"This is alarmist talk!" a high-ranking official couldn't help but shout.

Another person quickly followed up with a shout:

Stop your despicable tricks! This can't stop us from moving forward!

The scene became noisy again.

Horus did not stop the crowd; he too had a burning anger within him and needed to vent it through the words of others.

Paccard raised his hand and pressed the button to turn off communication, saying calmly:

"Goodbye."

"Snapped!"

The communication screen suddenly shut down, leaving everyone stunned. Various profanities stuck in their throats, as if their necks were being constricted, preventing them from uttering a sound.

No one expected that the Palu orc would end the communication without even uttering any harsh words!
The scene was silent for a few seconds, then erupted into even louder shouts of abuse.

"A boring trick!"

"Disgusting and ugly orcs!"

"Don't try to scare us with such a crude lie!"

"God-King, do you see? These orcs harbor treacherous intentions. Witness us destroying them!"

Horus frowned and ignored the noise.

He looked down at the mechanical sage and asked:
"Have you noticed anything unusual about the Auger matrix?"

"No, sir. That green ship left without looking back, without firing any trackers, energy projectiles, or psionic markers at our fleet. I'm 100% sure of that."

Horus frowned even more deeply and gestured to another senior executive:
"Pull up the network route map provided by the Eldar."

"Yes, my lord."

A few minutes later, Horus finished looking at the map.

He pointed to the online space he was currently in and said:

"Modify the scan results of the Auger Matrix for me. Change the condition of the gate to the network tunnel from intact to damaged. Then, cut off the corresponding point on the route map and mark it as 'This route is blocked.' Finally, summon the Eldar envoy for me. I want to ask him in person why he provided a route map that doesn't work. You all need to cooperate with me to put on a good show, understand?"

The people on the bridge immediately understood Horus's intention. He wanted to use false information to trick the Eldar envoy and see if he would panic and give himself away.

"As expected of Lord Lupecal, he came up with such an effective method so quickly."

"The War General possesses extraordinary wisdom."

The crowd whispered amongst themselves, but were quickly silenced by Horus's cold gaze.

When Paccard called, the Eldar envoys were meditating in the VIP room and were unaware of the exchange between Paccard and Horus.

The Eldar envoy team consisted of ten people, all of whom were clowns.

One of them was brought to the bridge and immediately noticed the anomaly on the route map and the striking scan results. A look of confusion flashed across his eyes:

"The gates to the internet... have been destroyed?"

"Come here," Horus beckoned to the Eldar envoy, urging him on.

"Don't just stand there, quickly show us another route, around that broken door."

The special envoy snapped out of his daze and quickly said:

“No problem, but first, we have to go back the way we came and return to the previous network node.”

The mechanical sage cried out:
"Oh no, Lord Horus, the gate to the net passage we came through has been destroyed! We seem to be trapped here!"

Superb acting!

Everyone looked at the mechanical sage and secretly admired him.

The Eldar envoy was taken aback:
"How is this possible? There are still dozens of net gates between here and the Palu orcs' ascension point. If they intended to ambush us, they wouldn't have chosen such a far place, would they?" A perfect performance, flawless.

Alternatively, the Eldar may not have intended to ambush the human fleet.

Alternatively, the Eldar envoy might not have known the details of the conspiracy, which would have allowed him to act so convincingly.

In short, at this point, most people at the scene came to the same conclusion:
That orc who called himself Pakado was just putting on a show!
The Eldar didn't set up any traps at all!

Orcs are all the same, none of them are good!

A small minority of people take a cautious approach. These people are mainly technical officers, primarily mechanical sages, who are naturally cautious about suspicious events.

Horus did not immediately believe that the Eldar envoy was innocent.

The fact that the Eldar envoy in front of them was unaware of the situation does not mean that the other Eldar envoys were not involved in the plot to assassinate the human fleet.

Horus had the envoy wait in a corner of the bridge, then summoned another envoy and questioned him in the same manner.

One envoy after another entered the bridge, expressing their bewilderment at the bizarre attacks by the Palu orcs. Their solutions were all similar, and no one revealed any flaws.

After the last Eldar envoy finished giving his advice, Horus looked at the Mechascient beside the Oser Matrix. The Mechascient understood and spoke into the internal communication channel:
"Lord Horus, the lie detector shows that the Eldar envoys were not lying; there is a 48.8% probability that they were unaware of the situation. There is also a 51% probability that the Eldar did not set a trap for us."

Horus asked:

"What does that remaining 0.2% probability represent?"

"The Eldar did indeed set a trap, but these Eldar envoys were sacrificial pawns; they had no authority to know the situation."

The mechanical sage spoke truthfully.

Horus fell into thought.

From a tactical perspective, the Eldar have no need to devise a plan to trap the human fleet.

The human fleet is there to stop Lino from becoming the true god of the orcs.

If successful, it would be a great thing for both the Eldar and humans.

on the other hand.

The Eldar plotted to frame the human empire's fleet and help Li Nuo become a god, which was not in the Eldar's overall interest. Otherwise, they wouldn't have tried so hard to provide the human empire with Li Nuo's ascension location.

Based on reason, emotion, and the perspectives of both myself and others, and considering the results of the surprise interrogation of the Eldar envoy, Horus concluded that Paccard's claims were pure fabrication.

"Continue onward," Horus ordered.

The helmsman started the engines, signaled the departure, and the fleet headed toward the next network gate.

The Eldar envoy asked in confusion:

"Horus, didn't you say that the gate to the Net Path was destroyed by the Palu Orcs?"

Horus softened his tone and recounted how Paccard had appeared, and the clown realized that he was being subjected to a serious examination without his knowledge.

"I'm sorry, I hope you can understand my actions." Horus nodded. "Although this investigation was sudden, it has undeniably deepened our friendship. The Empire of Man never shortchanges its allies, and you will receive extremely generous rewards after this war is over."

Horus's words blocked the Eldar envoys from making their statements.

The clowns exchanged glances and stopped dwelling on the matter.

They returned to the lounge and continued their pre-battle meditation.

Because the Palu Orcs have been lingering around the Ark World, the Eldar have been unable to spare a fleet to support the human Empire.

They changed tactics and used "decapitation" to intervene in the battle.

These dozen or so clowns were just the first group of people to assassinate Li Nuo.

After they arrive at the Ascension site with the human empire, Lady Elena will use the teleportation beacons on them to open a portal and transport at least thirty clown assassins.

There were a total of fifty clowns involved, and the assassination success rate was over 90%.

The God Emperor and Elena have agreed that after Li Nuo's death, the portion of the subspace he possessed will be shared by humans and the Elven race. The two sides will divide the Paru Empire in two, each taking one part.

Both sides agreed not to use the nature of the warp to expand the total number of orc forces, but only to control their respective Palu orcs as expendable resources in battle.

Once the Palu Orcs under his control are exhausted, the portion of the Warp Essence he possesses will be placed in the Terra Palace and guarded by people sent by the God-Emperor. From then on, this Warp Essence can only be reactivated with the unanimous consent of both the humans and the Eldar.

Humanity holds the key to the control of the warp, and has benefited the most from this war. Therefore, the fleets and personnel involved in the battle are mainly from the Imperial Empire, while the Eldar use assassination as a secondary means.

For a while afterward, everything was peaceful.

...

...

Ascension site: the flagship's strategic command center.

Paccardo is watching surveillance data being relayed from the Cosmic Hall.

The human empire's fleet passed through twenty network spaces in just over forty minutes, and was less than twenty minutes away from the network gate near the ascension point.

Paccard picked up the data tablet and sent a voice message:
"Beast, is the nanolens detonation procedure set up?"

"Everything's all set up. Just waiting for your message," the beast replied quickly.

Paccard sent another message to space:

"Wait for my signal, prepare to block cyberspace."

"Okay," Space replied.

Paccard kept his eyes glued to the fleet coordinates on the data chart.

As the Empire of Man moved to a network space marked in red, Paccard quickly pressed a button on his data pad, simultaneously sending messages to the beasts and space:
"Make your move! Now!"

After the message is sent, please wait patiently for three seconds.

On the network route map, the network space where the human fleet was located suddenly changed from red to black.

A sound came from space:
"Pacado, the network blockade is successful. Shrimp's fleet is trapped inside. Shrimp won't be getting out until we repair the network gate using the Cosmic Hall."

“Very good.” Paccard opened the Beast’s communication channel. “Beast, how’s the situation on your end?”

"Almost there, almost there! Give me a little more time! Pointy Ears is fighting with our technical team for control of the warp rift sealing barrier... Hahaha! We did it! We succeeded! Now we have control of the warp rift!"

The wild beast roared excitedly.

Paccard gripped his staff tightly and gave the order in a deep voice:

"Release the barrier and release the subspace rift. Proceed according to our plan."

"okay!"

Paccardo added:
"In space, monitor the shrimp fleet's communication signals, crack the channel signature, and inform them of the rift's expansion. If Horus is prepared to beg for mercy, then redirect his communication signals to me."

"Good drop."
