Chapter 25 Missy

The ground is frozen and the pruned crops go dormant.

The farmers have more leisure time now and should go to the old tavern to drink every day, but everyone unexpectedly finds that the drunkard Theo has disappeared for several days.

"Where's Theo? I haven't seen him for a few days." Pierre looked around and didn't see Theo again today.

A farmer who has a good relationship with Teo said:

"Something seems to have happened at his home."

"This is Lucas's suggestion. Don't you even listen to him? Everything you have now was given by him!" Theo said, suppressing his anger.

Elena's shoulders trembled violently with excitement:
"You can decide my marriage by giving me money? You want me to marry that yellow-skinned foreigner? Theo, you are devils! Devils who will go to hell!"

Theo's eyebrows were twisted into an eight shape:
"Ronan is a very good man. Lucas and I both think that marrying him is a good choice for you. He is much better than Phil. And we respect you very much. We just want to get to know him first. It's okay if you don't like him. We won't force you. Why do you act like you've suffered a great loss?"

Lucas is determined to get Ronan to do truffle business with him, but Ronan is too opinionated.

The scene of dating and kissing Ronan like this appeared in Elena's mind. She grabbed her hair frantically and felt like she couldn't breathe.

Theo slapped the table twice in silence, signaling her to wake up:

"The person I marry must be a real man like Phil! And that man is three months younger than me. My God, falling in love with a younger man is a disaster of hellish level. I don't want to be his 'mother'!" Elena screamed.

"You think Phil is a man just because he can kill pigs? That's because you didn't see how cowardly he was when he cried and told Lucas and me that he didn't want to elope with you!" Theo also raised his voice. "Liar! Liar!! Liar!!!"

The bedroom door was kicked open forcefully, and the house suddenly returned to silence. The two shouts disappeared at the same time.

Lucas resisted the urge to curse and spoke after closing the door:
"Want to let the neighbors know there are two crazy people living in your house?"

Theo gave up his chair guiltily and sat next to Elena.

In order to prove her loyalty to her family and her brother, Elena dressed up that afternoon and made her first visit to Ronan.
