Chapter 69: The Remarks on the Listing Suddenly Refreshed in Front of You

Chapter 69: The words of thanks for the release of the book that suddenly refreshed in front of you~
It was put on the shelves at 12 noon today. Does it feel very sudden? I feel it is very sudden too.

However, we can actually see the clues from the terrible data growth in each of the four rounds of recommendations from the time this book was released. After all, I have been writing books for so many years, and I actually had an idea of whether it is good or bad when the first round of recommendation data came out.

I wouldn't say I'm disappointed.

Because when I started writing this book, I had already made up my mind that this would be the last original work I would write. I have been working in this field for so long but have not achieved any results. In fact, this has proved that I have no talent for writing original works. Perhaps I chose the wrong talent when I embarked on the path of being a writer. Unfortunately, there is no paid reset function in the real world.

Although many people say that as long as you stick to something, you will definitely reap rewards, I don’t think this is toxic chicken soup. I can also persist. Patience may be one of my few advantages. But looking back on the road I have come, it is not difficult to find that after writing four original books and three of them failed, the outcome of going ahead with such a terrible failure rate should not be too good.

So, give up and retreat back to your comfort zone.

It cannot be said to be a blow of failure. After all, being able to clearly identify the limits of one's own capabilities and choosing to turn back in time when the incremental process reaches its limit is also a wise way to stop losses in time.

In fact, when I saw the growth rate of the data in the third round of recommendations, I had already quietly started to outline the next fan fiction. The current draft has been submitted to the editor for review, and the results may come out in the next few days. If the draft passes, then the next step will be the very exciting and tense "double opening" phase.

While updating this book, I also set aside time to write and save manuscripts for a new fan book.

Sounds scary, right?

Isn't it cool to write two books at the same time and maintain an update of 10,000 words per day for each book?
It’s just like that actually. It’s not like I haven’t done this kind of thing which is called “working hell” for writers before. Old book friends should remember my state after two books failed in a row the last time I tried to write original works. At that time, I was updating old books while starting “Shadow Trails”.

The result of that double opening was pretty good, so I hope the good luck will continue this time. Of course, readers who like this book don’t need to be nervous.

Cutting a book has never been an option for me. I have been writing books for more than ten years and I have never cut it. I must maintain good professional ethics, which is an important part of building my character. What's more, this book has an outline that is enough to expand to three million words, and it is the last original book, so I must stick to it to the end.

Only when one can see things from beginning to end can one be a real man.

So, the plan is roughly like this. I will release 1 chapters when the book is released at noon, and then maintain two chapters a day. Then I will turn around and collect fan manuscripts. The second book will probably be released at the end of January or the beginning of February. The subject matter is about Warcraft.
That’s right, New Legend of Paladin, this time it is guaranteed to bring you a new story that no one has written before, and the basic fan fiction planning has also been roughly figured out.

Please rest assured, everyone. I won't step out of my comfort zone and get myself into trouble. I am already in my thirties and don't have that much time to waste. I also should understand that there is a reason why the comfort zone is called a comfort zone.

That’s all the chit-chat, let’s wait for the product to be put on the shelves.

Finally, the end of 2024 has arrived. The general environment in recent years has been like this, and everyone has had a hard time, so here I wish everyone can get rid of the decadence in the coming year, ride the wind for thousands of miles, cheer up, and continue on the road.

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!
