Chapter 310 Meeting

Chapter 310 Meeting
Bloody! Violent! Cruel!
Faced with the absolute power of Yang Liu, all skills and tricks seem pale and powerless!
However, Yang Liu's brutal methods did not deter the enemy.

More ninjas surged out of the dense forest like a tide, seemingly completely indifferent to the deaths of their comrades, their eyes filled only with cold killing intent and the resolute determination to carry out orders.

Smoke grenades, flashbangs, poison gas grenades... all sorts of jamming methods are emerging one after another!
They are ruthless in their willingness to trade blows for lives, even to the point of mutual destruction!

Their goal doesn't seem to be killing Yang Liu, but rather delaying and wearing him down, leaving as many "marks" on him as possible.

"Annoying flies!"

Yang Liu was also thoroughly enraged by these fearless ninjas. He stopped passively defending and instead launched a charge.

His body, as big as a small tank, rampaged through the dense forest, easily breaking and crushing any trees or rocks that stood in his way!

The steel spear in his hand transformed into the scythe of death.

Every swing or throw inevitably takes the lives of several ninjas. The heavy spears are like siege ballistae, easily piercing through human bodies, tree trunks, and even small pieces of rock!

Without exception, those who were hit were all shattered to pieces.

Blood stained the woods, and severed limbs were scattered everywhere, making the scene of the battle incredibly gruesome.

However, Yang Liu's advance was indeed slowed down by the ninjas' relentless resistance.

He could feel the immense soul energy filled with resentment and despair getting closer and closer, and at the same time, the suppressive power of the magic array acting on him was getting stronger and stronger.

The real enemy... is almost here!
These ninjas were the last and most ferocious barrier of flesh and blood that hindered his progress!
A heavy stench of blood permeated the dense forest, and moonlight filtered through the gaps in the branches and leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground, illuminating a scene resembling a battlefield.

Like a silent, steel demon, Yang Liu stepped over the wreckage and blood, heading towards the source of the increasingly intense resentment and the core of the magic array.

The corpses of ninjas blocking his way were piled up like a mountain, but apart from some damage and charring on the outermost plate, his thick black armor showed almost no decent damage.

Finally, the view ahead opened up.

A vast open space, nearly a hundred meters in diameter, cleared out by human intervention, appeared before them. In the center of the open space stood a simple stone altar that exuded an ominous aura. Complex and eerie runes were carved around the altar. These runes seemed to echo the array that enveloped the entire island, constantly emitting oppressive energy fluctuations.

On the altar, a petite figure was tightly bound by thick hemp rope; it was none other than the unconscious Koizumi Rin.

The open space was surrounded by shadowy figures in black, each wielding a variety of weapons. Some were surviving ninjas, while others were samurai dressed in traditional clothing, carrying katanas or longbows.

Not far in front of the altar stood several figures dressed in hunting robes or shrine maiden attire, holding staffs or making hand seals, clearly onmyoji responsible for controlling the magic array and subsequent rituals.

Snapped!
Even Yang Liu couldn't help but squint at the sudden burst of intense white light.

Several engineering vehicles used for lighting were parked at the edge of the clearing, their pale lights illuminating the entire area and dispelling the darkness in the dense forest.

Yang Liu's gaze swept across the entire arena, finally settling on the woman standing in front of the Onmyoji—the only one unaffected by the somber atmosphere, instead sporting a languid and playful smile. That person wasn't unfamiliar to Yang Liu; she was none other than his junior from school—Chida Ezuko!

Instead of her usual glamorous attire, she wore a black, fitted outfit that allowed for easy movement, highlighting her hot and alluring curves.

With her signature fox-like, alluring, and cunning smile on her face, her narrow eyes scrutinized the willow tree, which resembled a steel behemoth, as it walked into the open space step by step.

"Yang Liu-kun, you've finally arrived." Chida Ezuko spoke, her voice sweet but carrying a chilling undertone. "You're a little slower than I expected. It seems my 'little gifts' have caused you some trouble."

Yang Liu stopped and stood at the entrance of the open space, facing Chida Ezuko from afar.

He ignored the other party's provocation, his cold gaze passing through the helmet and visor, landing on the unconscious Koizumi Rin on the altar as if it were a physical object. Only after confirming that she was not in immediate danger did he slowly turn to Chida Etsuko.

"Release her." Yang Liu's voice was low and hoarse, like the friction of metal, devoid of any emotion, yet containing a chilling pressure.

"Release her?" Chida Ezuko chuckled, covering her mouth as if she had heard something amusing. "Yangliu-kun, are you mistaken? You... don't seem to be in a position to negotiate with me right now."

She extended her slender finger, pointing to the warriors and Onmyoji standing guard around her, and the magic circle beneath her feet that continuously emitted a suppressive force.

"This is the stage carefully prepared for you, and it is also your final destination." Her smile became somewhat fervent. "Do you know, Yang Liu Jun, I've been looking for you... for so long."

“I’ve had a strong interest in you ever since I first met you at the University of Tokyo.” Chida Etsuko looked at Yang Liu as if she were admiring a work of art.

"Your existence is nothing short of a perfect miracle! Such powerful vitality! Such a robust body! You are simply... a divinely bestowed 'vessel'!"

Yang Liu remained silent, simply staring coldly at her.

Ignoring Yang Liu's reaction, Chida Ezuko's smile grew even brighter and more maniacal:

"I've gone to great lengths to get you. I made you fail your internship and stay in Japan, I hinted to your cowardly advisor that he would 'willingly' send you to my territory, and now, I've used this little girl to lure you here..."

She spread her hands, like an artist about to display her masterpiece.

"All of this is for now!"

She pointed sharply to the space behind the altar, a space filled with immense resentment that distorted even the air itself!

"See that? Willow-kun! Inside are tens of thousands of desperate souls I collected from the 'suicide hotspot' Aokigahara Forest. With the help of this magic circle, they are about to coalesce into a... no, a 'negative energy aggregate' that surpasses Uga Norio's, a purer and more powerful one!"

“Then,” her voice rose and became excited, “I will activate the ‘reversal’ function of the magic circle! I will forcibly transform this boundless negative energy into the purest and most primordial ‘divinity’! To create a… true artificial god!”
