Chapter 689: Immortal Palace Reappears
Lin Shen and Wei Wufu could only search around, hoping to find some clues.

From the empty white jade gate, jade steps appeared out of thin air and extended to the dark planet, like a rainbow bridge connecting heaven and earth.

"Old Wei... did you hear clearly the name that the voice said just now?" Lin Shen heard the name that the voice just said, and it seemed to be the name that the Jade Emperor told him when he went to the Immortal Palace that day.

"Understood." Wei Wufu nodded.

"What's the name?" Lin Shen was delighted when he heard that and asked quickly.

“Haotian… Golden Palace… Supreme… Supreme… Natural… Wonderful Existence… Miro… The Ultimate Truth… Jade Emperor… God…” Wei Wufu spat out words one by one.

Lin Shen was overjoyed after hearing this. Although Wei Wufu spoke incoherently, his memory was good. He could remember such a complicated name after only hearing it once.

Lin Shen asked Wei Wufu to repeat it several times, and he silently memorized the name of the Jade Emperor.

At this moment, in the darkness, a creature suddenly stepped onto the jade steps that looked like a white rainbow.

Lin Shen took a closer look and saw that the creature that walked onto the jade steps was a white jade fox with a red body and nine tails.

The nine-tailed white fox had just died when a huge python as big as a dragon climbed up the jade steps.

It swam upwards along the white jade steps, and its body suddenly began to burn with flames. As it swam, the flames on its body became more and more intense.

Just as its emerald green scales were about to be burned into charcoal, it opened its mouth and spewed out its life force.

A green jade sword flew out with green light, but unfortunately before it could do anything, it was shattered by a bolt of lightning that appeared out of nowhere.

With its life force destroyed, the green-scaled snake could no longer hold on. Its body twisted in the flames and soon it was burned to ashes.
