Chapter 48 I Won't Regret
"There's nothing to regret. I'm not at a disadvantage." Shao Zhouci looked at her, his eyes like the bottomless abyss hiding unknown emotions. "I hope you won't regret it."

Tang Wan didn't know what he was thinking about, and a hint of depression gathered between her brows.

She knew he was a very insecure person, and that he must have made a great decision to agree to give her a chance to pursue him. She moved her fingers slightly, holding the corner of his clothes, her eyes gentle: "Believe me, I won't regret it."

Tang Wan thought it didn't matter if he didn't believe her, she would prove it to him later.

She looked forward and changed the subject, "I finally got out. I want to go shopping and buy some clothes. Shao Zhouci, will you come with me?"

There were a lot of people in the mall and he wanted to refuse.

This hinted to him that she was so busy taking care of him in the hospital last night that she didn't even change her clothes. He couldn't refuse it out of both emotion and reason.

"Going home is not as important as chasing you."

He had nothing to say.

Tang Wan pulled him towards the nearest shopping mall and said, "Don't worry, I'm alone at home, so no one will bother me even if I don't come home at night."

She seemed calm, but her words could not hide her loneliness.

Was she kicked out of the house by her parents, or did she run away from home?

In the hope of a quick win, Tang Wan dragged him into a budget-friendly store and picked out two outfits for herself, both consisting of a jacket, shirt, and sweatpants. She tried them on and thought they looked good, so she paid for them straight away.

Tang Wan put on her new clothes and folded her school uniform and put it in a bag.

Shao Zhouci, who was sitting in the lounge area, saw that she had finished her shopping. When he stood up, he picked up the bag and looked at her with a gloomy expression: "Let's go back."

The mall is very crowded on weekends, with people coming and going. It's too lively and he doesn't like it.

He stood at the door and refused to go in.

His expression finally softened a little.

Shao Zhouci turned around with a puzzled look in his eyes.
