Chapter 115 Major
Looking at Walter's back gradually disappearing from the airship corridor, Lu Chen didn't know whether his complaint was correct.

Lu Chen swung the wire in his hand and bound the major's arms tightly.

The major struggled to free himself from the restraints, not to resist but to lift the wine glass. Blood continued to flow from the wire. His arm hadn't been mechanically modified. Lu Chen was still preparing to talk to him, so he loosened the wire.

"A monster like you shouldn't be afraid of bullets, right? Otherwise, I'd like to try and see if I can finally shoot and hit the enemy."

"Are angels also monsters? Perhaps I even have the mission of guiding the world."

The major burst into laughter after hearing this answer. "Hahahaha, what an arrogant response! Humans don't need such guidance. We can do whatever we want. That's why angels are God's monsters. No being can determine the fate of us humans, not even God."

He stared at Lu Chen carefully for a while, then he spoke: "No, you are not an angel. You are just a human who has gained power. I don't know why others think you are an angel, but I can see that your essence is still full of humanity. So what are you planning in this war? But it's a pity that you can't achieve your goal. Because humans will not move forward according to the script written by others. Everything you plan will fail."

"You speak as if you understand humans so well that your plan will succeed? Schrödinger's ability does seem unsolvable, but there are two vampires down there. Which blood river do you think will absorb him?"

"Is this why you created another vampire? You're not afraid to create a new monster just to thwart my plan. But Warrant Officer Schrodinger will make his own judgment. No one can absorb him if he doesn't want to."

The major replied confidently, "They are merely parasites that infest humans. Today, I will eliminate this parasite. Yet, you, as a human, have sided with the monsters. Do you desire to become a monster too?"

His words grew increasingly angry. Then, he suddenly pulled out his pistol and fired at Lu Chen. Although he believed that such an opponent would be impossible to eliminate with bullets, he still wanted to show his determination.

The bullet flew towards Lu Chen, but it had no effect. Lu Chen no longer feared bullets a long time ago.

Lu Chen didn't cut off his arm when he started to act just to make him feel despair, and Lu Chen would not give the major the chance to see the result of his plan. He would die with this endless regret.

The major was very satisfied with his successful hit. This seemed to be a good sign. His plan should succeed, even if he could no longer see it.

The wire tightened instantly, and the major's two arms were directly cut off.

The major didn't seem to feel any pain. He shouted loudly, "You are constantly abandoning what makes you human. One day, your humanity will be completely abandoned. Then you will no longer be human. Monster!"

Then the wire cut again and the Major was killed instantly.

Lu Chen looked at the Major's death without any emotion. He had indeed changed a little during the changes in these worlds. Even if he had to become a monster in the end, he would become a monster that pursued strength.

The blood-stained steel wire returned to his hand, and Lu Chen prepared to go back along the way to participate in the decisive battle below.
