Zhu Tian: Starting from the Stand User

Chapter 424 Johnny Silverhand

Chapter 424 Johnny Silverhand
V's answer made Lu Chen realize that he would definitely follow him out of this world, and at this moment he was already moved.

All that was left was to wait for V to make up his mind.

"I will be waiting for your good news. I can already foresee the ups and downs of the adventure."

So V stood up from the sofa in the bar first, holding the bottle of wine, then turned around and said to Lu Chen: "I'll pay for the wine, we'll contact each other tomorrow."

Lu Chen was of course very happy that someone paid him, since he had no intention of paying anyway. Lu Chen had come here with V with the intention of getting something for free.

However, paying the money was not a big deal for V, because the money was not his in the first place.

After saying these words, V left the tavern alone. Lu Chen actually wanted to say that he wanted to go with him.

It’s a pity that V left very quickly. Maybe he saw that Lu Chen wanted to continue eating and drinking for free.

Or maybe his mind was occupied by more important things at this moment.

Lu Chen drank the remaining glass of wine on the table, since V was ready to do his own thing.

Then I also need to go out and take a good look at this world, a world with such advanced technology.

In a bar, V's true form, with wrinkles on his face, is looking at a guitar hanging on the wall.

There was a somewhat worn-looking wine glass in front of Johnny Silverhand, and V had quite a few tattoos on his hands.

Over the years, V would use someone's prosthetic body to see his friends.

So in the end, he was ready to say goodbye to his last friend, his own body.

A strange man sat down opposite Johnny and started complaining:
"Johnny, you bastard just put another tattoo on my body. You've got a lot of tattoos over the years! Before you do this again..."

Johnny looked at the person in front of him with some surprise. He hadn't seen this friend of his for a long time.

So Johnny's expression softened. They were both capable of blocking a bullet for each other. And V had actually blocked that bullet for him before.

After V took the initiative to walk through the black wall, he owed V a favor.

"V? Have you come out from behind the black wall again, you idiot? It's been a long time since I saw you. What's going on recently?"

As Johnny said this, he threw the half-empty bottle of wine in front of him to V. The two of them looked so familiar with each other, as if they hadn't seen each other for a long time.

"I came to see you, you bastard. You're still alive. I heard that Mil-Tech is looking for you. Stop using my body for dangerous things."

V took the half-full bottle of wine, took a sip, and said, "This tastes as bad as horse piss. You're drinking this right now?"

Johnny told V what he was thinking: "I'm planning to do something big recently. Remember when we attacked Arasaka Tower together? I stole a big thing from Militech. So they've been looking for me recently."

V went up and punched himself, then said in a heavy, complaining tone:
"Can't you just live your life in peace and quiet? Like you thought you'd do when you left Night City."

Johnny pulled out a pistol from his waist. Its rugged appearance suggested it had powerful firepower. The name of the gun was Comrade's Hammer.

Johnny slammed the pistol on the table and replied:
"That kind of life is not for me. I don't want to end up dying in bed with a catheter in my head."

V looked at the weapon he had found that year, a slight smile curling up his lips. "Do you need my help? Don't use this antique anymore."

Johnny rejected his friend's advice. This was a matter for the living. "How can a long-dead AI like you help me? I have a lot of great guys now. Every one of them is just like you were back then. So just tell me what you want from me this time?"

So V said goodbye with some nostalgia: "I'm leaving here. I have an awesome journey waiting for me."

Johnny casually speculated, "Where are you going? Is there some unexplored world outside the Black Wall?"

"Let's go on adventures in the magical world. I'm going to use magic too. You idiot, just keep making trouble here."

Johnny looked at V as if he was an idiot. This guy always does things like this.

So he said in a mocking tone, "You idiot, have you been fooled? Don't believe what those mechanical monks say. There is no such thing as a world of inner peace."

So V told Johnny in detail what he had encountered in the past two days.

"You idiot, you've been cheated again. It sounds like that guy named Lu Chen is not a good person. Without me, you would be cheated every day."

"What he said was true. I could feel it."

“No one you know is reliable.”

"You're the most unreliable, but I saved your life once."

The two fell silent, just like the days when they argued every day.

Finally, Johnny was silent for a long time before speaking:
"I'm sorry about Panam."

Johnny Silverhand knew about V and Panam's relationship, but he was not in Night City at the time. So Johnny always felt sorry for V. However, Johnny, who has a somewhat awkward personality, would not take the initiative to apologize.

"It's all in the past. Don't do those things with the idea of revenge for me. People in our line of work will eventually fall. Panam's character is too tough."

"What are you going to do after you meet me?"

Even though V is completely covered in cyborg body parts, his face still shows a lot of nostalgia.

"I'm going to go see Lao Wei, Panam and Jack again."

After Old Vi and Panam died, Johnny buried them in the cemetery, right next to V's grave. However, there was only a sniper rifle scope called Overwatch placed inside.

Almost everyone from their generation has passed away, with only Johnny, the scourge, still surviving. He has now established a family in the wilderness based on his past achievements. Legendary figures like these always attract willing followers.

This may be related to V's strong physical fitness, he can perfectly adapt to all the prosthetics. So Johnny is blessed by V.

Johnny said with a hint of nostalgia, "I'll drive you there. It's a good opportunity for me to see Roger again. I told my guys that when I die, I'll bury the relic chip in your brain next to Roger's. As for this prosthetic body, I'll bury it next to your friend."

V had no opinion on where his body should be buried.

"Whatever you want to do with it. This body has been given to you for a long time."

"Then don't fucking complain about me getting another tattoo. You, a fashion-agnostic guy, can't understand my aesthetic."
