Dedicate loyalty to the good empire

Chapter 53: Renewing the Past, Part 1
Outpost No. 7 brought many surprises to Dragan. He had not tasted such bitterness for a long time since his last capture of one of the Emperor's religious worlds.
He tried to determine the enemy's position as shown by the augury inside the armor, but the magnetic field of this world was very chaotic, and many places appeared blurry.
This is why Catachan caused greater losses than expected, but fortunately his partner was fine.
But he was not satisfied with that guy. Now Dragan was hiding in the forest and looking at the outpost in the distance, and a strange name jumped into his ears.
"Is Baron Taylor there?"
It came from a voice sweeter than honey. She had brown hair and was wearing revealing purple clothing that was almost like a swimsuit.
But she was wearing a loose black robe and holding a black dagger that was much smaller than a normal staff.
Dragan couldn't help but say, "You're obviously a Slaanesh follower, why are you dressed so thickly?"
The woman's skin was flawless and her appearance was almost impeccable. Her slender figure and appearance were even more beautiful than when Taylor had seen her in Mawson Ryde.
Her master blessed her, and we don't know what outrageous things she did to earn those things.
If her depraved appearance was any clue, a white gem-like ornament hanging from the bottom of her robe might reveal something was wrong.
That was the soul stone of the Eldar. Apparently, she had sacrificed several souls that should have belonged to her master, which also proved that the wizard had the ability to raid Eldar ships.
No wonder she was able to convince Dragan to cooperate with her, but Dragan was also unwilling to be the bodyguard of this damn Slaanesh believer, and he kept asking questions.
"Is the treasure you mentioned right here?"
The cult lady replied. "Who knows? I've only seen something more interesting now."
She licked her pretty little mouth, her eyes fixed on Outpost No. 7. No matter what was so attractive to her, Dragan was mourning for that person.
He is probably dead.
Dragan asked. "Is that Taylor?"
The cult lady stepped her white and plump thighs on Dragan's heavy armor, and her black high heels with sharp blades slowly slid and left marks on the filthy armor.
Dragan said angrily. "It's older than you, your family, your grandfather, everything about you!"
"When the Empire forged it, your family was still a barbaric slave owner!"
The lady said, "But you need me now, so be patient. Your armor will be restored with the blessing of the Lord of Filth."
"And I can tell you that if you try to pry into my thoughts again next time, it won't be your armor that'll crack!"
Dragan angrily pushed her away. "When this partnership ends and the Warmaster gets what he wants, I'll chop off your head and use it as a tool for my sexual gratification."
The lady replied, drooling. "That's wonderful. The favor of a Space Marine is enough to make me happy even in death."
Dragan replied. "Madman!"
The cult lady said, "Then go get a head for your crazy girl. You've met that man. He's special."
Dragan replied resentfully. "I will, but not for you..."
He waved his arms, and the column of Space Marines and cultists began to advance, gradually hacking away at the forest and moving through the muddy soil.
Everything was very quiet at first, but a quiet forest is the scariest thing. The sounds of birds and insects suddenly became quiet, and the absence of smoke made people even more terrified.
They were advancing now, and most of them, indeed the Space Marines, knew no fear at all.
The power bestowed upon them by the gods, especially the Chaos Father, was so great that their immortality hindered their ability to perceive fear.
This was an answer Taylor had not considered, but it did contribute to the defeat of those Space Marines.
The gods' gifts slowed their perception, and their powerful bodies made them forget how to treat nature. After a part of the mortal team advanced too far, they saw the outpost they needed.
The leader began to prepare incendiary grenades in an orderly manner, even surpassing the professional level of the Imperial Guard. If their shooting was successful, Outpost No. 7 would be in great danger.
Just as they had loaded their ammunition, several pairs of arms emerged from the forest, dark and strong, and grabbed their throats.
After a choked sob, the blade of the Catachan knife grazed their necks.
The sudden "disappearance" of a group of Chaos believers made Dragan realize that something was wrong. He looked around and everything was still so quiet.
"Is there something..."
Before he could finish, several lasers came with explosive bombs. He immediately swung his arms and used his strongest shoulder armor to block the attack.
Then he immediately charged forward like an armored vehicle, but when he reached his destination, he didn't see any enemy.
……
Damn it!
This was the first time he encountered an Imperial who was even more evil than himself.
He thought of the Night Lords, his rebellious brothers.
The methods of those mortals were similar to their fear-mongering appearance, but it was not enough.
He looked towards the outpost in the distance and moved forward quickly, but the witch suddenly appeared and said with a smile.
"It seems my dear gentleman has caused you a lot of trouble."
Dragan said in disgust. "Trouble?"
"Not even close."
"I have seen worse wars. I have seen Terra burn, I have seen Sanguinius slain, and I have witnessed the fall of the Imperium."
"What is this young mortal in comparison? He is nothing compared to the death and cruelty I have encountered."
The woman's delicate fingers traced the holes punched into his armor.
"Is this what you call worthless?"
Dragan looked at the scars that had begun to heal automatically, and a strange smile appeared on his mutated and highly corrupted cheeks.
"Indeed, it's worthless."
"He couldn't even leave a decent wound."
The lady smiled and said, "I admire your arrogance, but you also greatly underestimated him."
Dragan replied. "He's only human."
The cult lady gave an amusing smile and answered.
"You are only an Astartes. You may be lucky, but in front of the Power of Destruction, you and I are worthless."
"Now you and I can only try to keep them watching us longer. This is what we call a great action."
"Go ahead and finish what you said."
Dragan replied with his teeth bared in anger. "I will!"
