Manjushri Bodhisattva, holding the brocade robe, moved with such speed that it tore through the air, his mind racing with calculations.

Now, all we need to do is rush to Black Wind Cave, dispose of Elder Jinchi's body and this cassock together, and create a scene where he died by self-immolation while stealing treasure, so that there will be no evidence against him.

However, just as he moved, Sun Wukong sneered from behind, "Old monk, your skill at slipping away has improved, hasn't it?"

"Where are you taking the stolen goods? This isn't the way to Ling Mountain. You've got the wrong direction."

Manjushri Bodhisattva felt a chill run down his spine, as if the surrounding space suddenly froze, as if he had fallen into an invisible swamp, and his speed of escape slowed down instantly.

He turned around abruptly and saw that Sun Wukong was not in a hurry to chase after him, but just stood there, making a strange hand gesture with one hand. The mocking smile on his lips sent chills down his spine.

Manjushri Bodhisattva immediately sensed something was wrong, realizing that this was not a simple spatial confinement, but the power of the Great Dao's spatial laws.

"What's going on? How could this monkey possibly be proficient in the laws of space and the Great Dao?"

Manjushri Bodhisattva was greatly alarmed, because if Sun Wukong was truly proficient in the laws of space, then his plan would truly be impossible to complete.

What horrified him even more was that the Buddhist light on the robe seemed to strangely repel the magical power within him.

It was as if the robe recognized the thief and was roaring in anger. A burning sensation pierced through the robe and scalded his palm, almost causing him to drop his hand.

"Looks like this darling doesn't like you much, you old bald monk. As the saying goes, forced melons aren't sweet, and a robe forcibly taken can never be yours."

Manjushri was both shocked and furious, knowing that the monkey must have secretly tampered with the robe, managing to draw upon the original Buddhist power to turn against the thief.

He could no longer care about anything else and roared, "Monkey! What have you done?"

Sun Wukong picked at his ear and said in a nonchalant manner, "I didn't do anything. I just blew a breath of True Qi of Dispelling Illusion into the box when I was carrying it."

"That thing is a cure for all kinds of dissent, especially for those greedy people who have something to hide and whose body smells wrong."

As they spoke, the brocade robe shone even brighter, and with a sudden tremor, it broke free from Manjushri's embrace and flew out on its own.

In an instant, rays of light and auspicious clouds appeared everywhere, like a small sun rising into the sky, illuminating the surrounding area as bright as day.

But Sun Wukong chuckled and, without even taking the cassock, pointed his golden cudgel at the air and shouted, "Stay!"

A gentle yet irresistible wave of magical power rippled outwards, and the brocade cassock in the air actually hovered motionless, obediently concealing its dazzling brilliance, and slowly drifted down, as if waiting for its true master to come and collect it.

This scene not only left Manjushri Bodhisattva dumbfounded, but also the monks of Guanyin Temple who stumbled and rushed over from afar, who saw it all clearly.

Manjushri Bodhisattva was truly panicked at this moment. His robes were out of control, his identity was on the verge of being exposed, the monks were suspicious, and all his plans were completely disrupted. This monkey was simply not playing by the rules.

A fierce glint flashed in his eyes. In desperation, he no longer cared about anything else. He unleashed his full cultivation, revealing himself to be a mid-stage Quasi-Saint.

However, Manjushri Bodhisattva still retains the appearance of Elder Jinchi, and Sun Wukong did not recognize who he was.

However, Sun Wukong clearly felt the oppressive aura of a mid-stage Quasi-Saint. He knew that this guy was definitely a high-ranking member of Buddhism, or at the very least a Bodhisattva.

However, Sun Wukong did not retreat even a step because of this. After all, Sun Wukong's true cultivation level was not the peak of the Great Luo Golden Immortal as it appeared, but a proper mid-stage Hunyuan Golden Immortal.

If Manjushri Bodhisattva were to truly unleash his full power, even if he were a mid-stage Quasi-Saint, he would only be able to be beaten by Sun Wukong, one of the Four Chaos Monkeys born specifically for battle. Immediately, Sun Wukong's golden cudgel grew longer in the wind and slammed down directly towards Manjushri Bodhisattva.

Manjushri felt a sudden heaviness around him, as if a towering mountain was pressing down on him, and the escape technique he had just activated was abruptly interrupted.

"Sun Wukong, you've gone too far!"

Manjushri Bodhisattva roared, unable to maintain his facade of an old and venerable monk any longer.

The monks in the distance erupted in uproar, retreating in fear. "That...that's not the abbot. It's a fake. No wonder the abbot could fly and disappear; he was actually a demon in disguise."

At the same time, Sun Wukong, with a cold expression, asked Manjushri Bodhisattva, "You've gone too far! Today, I, Old Sun, am going to bully you, you cowardly charlatan who hides his true identity, impersonates a monk, colludes with demons, and frames the Bodhisattva."

"Tell me, who exactly are you, daring to put on this clumsy show in front of your grandfather? Hurry up and reveal your true form so that old Sun knows who he killed."

Enraged, Manjushri Bodhisattva's three spirits flared wildly, and the string of reason finally snapped. Gritting his teeth, he said, "Since you are determined to die, then I will..."

Just as Manjushri Bodhisattva harbored murderous intent towards Sun Wukong, a lotus platform descended from mid-air. Seated atop the lotus platform was none other than Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Upon seeing that Guanyin Bodhisattva had arrived, Manjushri Bodhisattva inwardly cried out in alarm, realizing that his actions had been completely exposed.

There was no time to worry about anything else at the moment. He wanted to use the Blood Shield Technique to sacrifice his cultivation and leave this dangerous place.

At that moment, Guanyin Bodhisattva's compassionate voice rang out, "Wen..."

But before Guanyin Bodhisattva could finish speaking, Sun Wukong interrupted her. He then spoke to Guanyin Bodhisattva...

"Bodhisattva, don't you have three hoops? Take one and put it on this demon. I'm going to take him to the Buddha to reason with him."

In fact, when Guanyin Bodhisattva uttered the first word, Sun Wukong had already guessed that the other party was Manjushri Bodhisattva.

However, Sun Wukong had no intention of letting Guanyin Bodhisattva reveal the other party's identity. After all, he still remembered what Tang Sanzang had said.

Although Guanyin Bodhisattva was unaware of Sun Wukong's true intentions, bringing Manjushri Bodhisattva before the Buddha was not necessarily a bad thing for her.

So without hesitation, he summoned a headband and flew it towards Manjushri Bodhisattva's head. It was the very headband that was originally meant for the black bear demon, but now it landed on Manjushri Bodhisattva's head.

Caught off guard, the binding band had already taken root on Manjushri Bodhisattva's head. As Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva chanted the mantra, the pain intensified, causing Manjushri Bodhisattva to clutch his head and wail in agony.

Finally, he pressed it directly under his lotus platform and spoke to the monks of Guanyin Temple below.

"Your abbot, Elder Jinchi, is imprisoned in the Black Wind Cave. Tang Sanzang has already led a group to rescue him; you should hurry and join him."

The monks hurriedly bowed and agreed, then paid their respects to Guanyin Bodhisattva. Only then did they head towards Black Wind Mountain.

Meanwhile, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Sun Wukong weren't idle either; they headed straight to the Great Thunderclap Temple on Mount Ling in the West to confront the Buddha.

This scene was naturally witnessed in its entirety by various forces using their magical treasures. However, their reactions differed considerably. (End of Chapter)
