Starting from scratch, Batman crushed my dream of getting rich

Chapter 280 Titan
"Everyone get off the street immediately, take cover in the lower floors of buildings, or find cover—quick! quick! quick!"
"Superman has gone mad! Run!"
"No, no, no, my God! Half of the building has collapsed!"
As the crowd screamed and fled in panic, the damaged buildings began to crumble, and countless pieces of debris fell to the ground. Huge blocks of concrete, steel bars, and sharp shards of glass rained down on pedestrians on the street like a shower of flowers.
It was obvious that the citizens of the metropolis were not experienced enough. The crowd scrambled and jostled each other, creating a chaotic and distressing scene.
My God!
Drake and Camilla were hiding in a corner of a damaged building, watching the red cloak speed through the sky, their faces pale.
“I already told you, the house needs a basement,” Camilla complained softly. “Now the house has been smashed open, and we have nowhere to hide.”
Drake replied in a low voice, "Hiding in the basement would be the real disaster. If our building really collapses, we'll be completely trapped inside, and who knows how long we'll have to wait for rescue—trust me, a building that's already been damaged is safer."
After they finished speaking, they looked at each other in silence. Drake looked at the ruins around him and couldn't help but feel sad: "When we were in Gotham, we only heard that a very powerful superhero came to Metropolis and reduced the frequency of violent crimes to about once every few months. We thought life here would be as good as before. But no one said that violent crimes here now destroy half a block at a time."
Mrs. Camilla chimed in, "That's right. These people are running around in a flustered manner. It's obvious they live too comfortably and don't exercise often."
As the couple talked, they looked at each other, their thoughts drifting back to their days in Gotham.
Back then, everyone was used to the occasional gunfights on the streets in the early morning, the delicious food trucks constantly hawking their drugs, and the occasional gang thugs being thrown out of windows. Although life was quite noisy, at least no one really destroyed anyone's house.
“There’s crime in Gotham almost every day,” Drake sighed. “But at least the damage is still within the ‘human’ realm. I mean, at least a house being blown up is still big news.”
Om-!
As they were talking, an invisible sound wave suddenly spread through the air. A half-silver-white, half-black cyborg figure used its mechanical hand to pull itself into the sky and used the sonic cannon on its right hand to blast the building debris in the air to pieces.
"Superman! Wake up!"
Boom! Boom!
The cyborg figure unleashed every miniature projectile it possessed, the continuous, violent explosions engulfing the terrifying cloaked man in the air. Terrifying shockwaves, temperatures exceeding a thousand degrees Celsius, and high-speed shrapnel completely covered the area, scorching and attacking his skin.
However, the person at the center of the explosion felt nothing at all. He reached out to feel the scorching flames, felt the shock and impact with every cell in his body, and saw sharp shrapnel piercing his red and blue battle suit—then he chuckled coldly.
The flames were warm, feeling like a lukewarm bath when they touched the skin; the shockwaves were tingling, barely enough to give a massage; and the weak shrapnel couldn't even tear through his armor, crashing into his steel body and turning into scrap metal.
He experienced this feeling of omnipotence for the first time, which captivated him and made him intoxicated. Then, laughing wildly, he burst out of the flames and casually punched his opponent away.
The cyborg's body created a sharp sonic boom as it flew through the air, smashing through a building and embedding itself deep into the ground.
"Beg for mercy, Cyborg, beg me to give you a quick death!"
The caped man soared above the city, his arrogant laughter almost shaking the entire metropolis. "He really looks like one of those mindless, super-evil villains from comics who's about to destroy the world," Drake couldn't help but remark. "I never imagined Superman would be like this."
“I regret it, Drake.” Camilla sighed as well. “In the first few months after we moved here, we didn’t encounter a single crime. I thought it was so much safer here than Gotham. I made a huge mistake in deciding to spend my whole life in Metropolis.”
At the same time, a rumbling sound from high above resounded like thunder across the sky, and the cloaked man transformed into a blurry figure of light and shadow, plunging into the building and shaking the metropolis once again.
The sharp-eyed Drake saw him take Cyborg back into the sky, but this time, Cyborg seemed to be in very bad shape.
“Superman ripped off that metal man’s mechanical arm and one mechanical leg.” Drake sighed. “That guy’s done for. He can’t beat Superman—he’ll probably be torn to shreds.”
"Hey, Superman! What are you doing to Cyborg?! Are you crazy? He's a special member of the Titans, not a bad guy!"
The cloaked man turned his head upon hearing the sound and saw a green figure suddenly appear on the street. Although he didn't know who the figure was, he still sneered, "Fool, of course he's not a bad guy—but I am."
He casually tossed the half-broken steel bone aside, sending the man crashing into a nearby building. He didn't seem to care, instead turning to the green-clad youth and taunting, "Are you another self-proclaimed superhero idiot? How many of you are there? You can all come at me at once."
"as you wish!"
With a sharp, angry shout, a wrecked car slammed down like a hammer. The cloaked man, terrified, turned around abruptly, but before he could even raise his hand, the massive vehicle, carrying immense force, hammered him into the road like a nail.
"what happened?"
Drake, standing in the corner, looked at the girl in the red uniform with a W symbol on her waist. He seemed to have seen her in the news in Metropolis before; she and the green-skinned boy were teammates.
The girl frowned and threw the car aside, but all she could see was a deep crater pierced by the steel body; she couldn't see the other person's shadow.
"Superman couldn't possibly be unable to withstand the kinetic energy of a car, and that has nothing to do with his own mass—his biofield should have kept him completely still."
"Really? It seems you know a lot about Superman."
A cold male voice, filled with suppressed anger, rang in her ear, and the girl's pupils suddenly contracted.
He flew up behind me? When?
At the same time, the green-skinned boy was also shocked and shouted to his teammates, "Wonder Girl! Watch out!"
"Now let's talk about this," the cloaked man said with a cold laugh, lifting up a heavy steel plate used in construction.
"late!"
duang!
