Chapter 273 I am not Mokha
After so long, the incense offerings at Foguang Temple outside Luoyang City have finally begun to recover.

Sometimes people are forgetful, or easily influenced by new things. So much time has passed since the incident at the Wanzhang Foguang Temple, and many people have already forgotten that feeling.

In addition, Master Moke was indeed a high-ranking monk. Over time, information about him would gradually be spread by some people, and then spread from one to ten, from ten to a hundred, influencing even more people.

Although the incense offerings at Foguang Temple today are not as numerous as they were at the once magnificent Foguang Temple, it has returned to the true nature of a temple and welcomes believers from all walks of life.

There are now six or seven monks living and practicing together in the temple. Some of them are wandering monks who stayed behind, and some became monks because they had nowhere else to turn.

Master Moke took them in, so Foguang Temple is now much more vibrant, and although there are not a constant stream of worshippers, there are still quite a few.

On this morning, Master Mo Ke led seven other monks of varying ages in the temple for their usual morning prayers, and the sound of Buddhist chants echoed throughout the Foguang Temple.

When Zhuang Lin arrived outside the temple, he carefully sensed the aura emanating from it, a feeling that was in stark contrast to when he first arrived.

Although the number of worshippers was far fewer than before, the atmosphere was the purest Zhuang Lin had ever seen in any temple.

This time, Zhuang Lin did not completely conceal his aura; the unique immortal energy emanating from him stirred up spiritual energy from all directions.

Not only did spiritual energy gather, but the energy from heaven and earth also underwent a qualitative change after Zhuang Lin broke through to the primordial spirit stage.

An invisible spiritual aura accompanied him, merging with Zhuang Lin's immortal energy, and faintly forming a five-colored auspicious cloud above his head, invisible to the naked eye.

The appearance of this auspicious cloud actually surprised Zhuang Lin a little. He was used to hiding his qi and had no relevant experience. Now that he saw it, he looked up and studied it for a long time.

Accompanying Zhuang Lin was another person, not Xi Miao and Wuming, but Shen Qingyou.

The chanting in the backyard of Foguang Temple stopped abruptly, and the old monk Mo Ke stood up amidst the puzzled looks of several monks.

"Abbot, what's wrong?"

The old monk did not immediately answer the monks' questions, but instead looked at the sky outside the meditation room with a clear look of surprise.

The radiant light of the auspicious clouds was something he had never seen before, yet it struck the heart of Monk Moke. At that moment, a memory seemed to flash through his mind, and for some reason, he thought of the Buddha's all-encompassing light.

But clearly, it wasn't Buddha's light in the sky, and it gave Monk Moke a more natural feeling.

The monks looked at each other in dismay, never having seen the abbot so out of control.

"Amitabha Buddha, follow me and let me welcome our distinguished guest!"

Monk Mo Ke quickly stood up. This feeling was like the arrival of a Buddha. Even if he was not the Buddha, he was certainly not someone that ordinary people could imagine. He must be a saint.

As soon as he finished speaking, the old monk left first, and the other monks followed him.

Outside Foguang Temple, the temple gates were not yet open, as it was indeed still very early.

Shen Qingyou came with Zhuang Lin, and was still somewhat reserved. However, he was not because of what happened in the past, but simply out of a sense of awe.

As one's cultivation level increases and one's horizons broaden, or one's mind matures, with each step forward, one can increasingly feel the wonder of Master Zhuangzi.

Shen Qingyou had just finished filming a movie and had also recently broken through to a higher level of cultivation. But upon seeing Master Zhuang again, she felt as if she were floating in the world, especially at this moment!

A series of footsteps approached, and Zhuang Lin looked around.

"It seems Master Moke didn't want to keep us waiting and opened the temple gates ahead of schedule!"

Shen Qingyou nodded slightly. The master was indeed no ordinary person; he should be able to sense the aura of the Master.

The footsteps stopped, and the temple gate was quickly opened with a creak.

The old monk Mo Ke led the monks out first, and instead of seeing the more familiar Shen Qingyou, he immediately fixed his gaze on Zhuang Lin, who was wearing a white robe and an indigo half-sleeved jacket.

But he only dared to glance at it once, and then Monk Moke immediately put his hands together and bowed.

"Amitabha! I was unaware of the arrival of the Holy One and His Eminence. I have failed to greet you properly. Forgive me!"

The other monks didn't know what to say, so they just followed suit and bowed deeply.

When Monk Mo Ke stood up, he saw Zhuang Lin bowing respectfully. At that moment, the former even subconsciously showed a bit of fear, as if a great Buddha in a sacred place was bowing to a young novice. By the time he realized it, it was too late to avoid it.

"Master, there's no need for such formalities. I apologize for bothering you, but I've come specifically to ask for your assistance!"

Shen Qingyou also hurriedly bowed.

“Master, this gentleman is by no means a bad person. Qingyou came along and hopes that you can accompany us!”

Because Zhuang Lin's presence was so strong, it was only then that Monk Mo Ke noticed Shen Qingyou and gave her an expression that said, "So you're here too."

As for Shen Qingyou's words, Master Mo Ke was somewhat amused and exasperated. A bad person? Is that a word appropriate to use at this time?
Although he didn't know why he understood, Monk Mo Ke inexplicably understood these things. He glanced at Zhuang Lin and bowed again.

"Amitabha! Since you have come to my door in person, how could this humble monk dare to refuse!"

Now, no matter what Zhuang Lin says, as long as it's not something immoral or unethical, Monk Mo Ke will agree. And such a being is unlikely to do anything immoral or unethical. Even if he were to do something, what crucial role could an old monk like himself play?

Inviting Shen Qingyou along was also to get closer to her, but Master Mo Ke's statement clearly indicated that, as Zhuang Lin had expected, even if the memory was gone, the feeling was still there, which saved a lot of effort.

"Thank you very much, Master. I can tell you that this trip will be entirely beneficial to you, and may even be an opportunity for you!" "However, the place we are going to may be quite far. Please make proper arrangements, Master, and do not let the temple fall into chaos!"

Zhuang Lin's words were somewhat meaningful. After all, the Hidden Immortal Valley had long speculated about the monk Mo Ke's background, and could be said to know him better than the monk himself. It was just that the timing was not right before, and they were afraid of making a mistake.

But now Zhuang Lin has almost achieved the primordial spirit stage.
-
The area inside and outside the Donghai City Film and Television City had already been sealed off by the relevant departments of Dayan and cordoned off.

The military and police were mobilized to temporarily remove all film crews shooting at the film studio and to prohibit all tourists from visiting the film studio for the remainder of the period.

At this moment, outside the film studio, some tourists were still arguing with the staff of the film studio. However, the arrival of the investigation bureau's vehicles brought more manpower, and soon more people were able to maintain order.

The person who got out of the car was a senior agent from the Bureau of Extraordinary Investigations, and he was making an internal phone call.

"Yes, yes, I understand. An alarm has been sounded at the scene, saying that terrorists have planted dangerous explosives and a thorough investigation is needed. Okay, everything is ready, the film studio has been completely cleared!"

After finishing his call, the agent looked up at the helicopter flying overhead, then looked into the distance behind him.

Outside the cordon, film studio staff were shouting through loudspeakers.

"Dear visitors, we sincerely apologize, but the film studio needs to conduct a safety inspection. All visitors can receive a three-fold refund upon presentation of their ticket. We will not shirk our responsibility—"

The agent glanced at the people around him.

"Let's go change our clothes. Now we need to unlock the last bit of information access. This time, a key figure has come. The information from above is that the person is unaware that they will appear in the future world of Dharma decline. If the plan fails, we will have to send them back to ancient times and prevent them from knowing about modern affairs."

The people around me were all colleagues from the Bureau of Extraordinary Investigations, but only a few knew the truth before they came, and even they only unlocked their privileges at this moment.

There aren't many people in the entire film and television city right now. The few people there are all members of the Bureau of Extraordinary Investigations dressed in ancient costumes, and most of them are waiting in or around the ancient pagoda square.

The higher-ups at the Bureau of Extraordinary Investigations are now aware of the relationship between Monk Mo Ke and one of the evil Buddhas, which is essentially two sides of the same coin.

That afternoon, a gentle breeze swept across the sky, carrying several figures to the ancient pagoda in the film and television city square. It was Zhuang Lin and his companions, who were with Monk Mo Ke.

At this moment, the two Hidden Immortal Valley students who were guarding the tower walked out together.

"This student greets the Master!"

The two bowed to Zhuang Lin and then cupped their hands in greeting to the old monk Mo Ke.

The old monk clearly sensed the abnormality around him; there was no spiritual energy whatsoever. However, he understood that this must be due to some sophisticated protective array that had isolated the external energy.

"Master, it's inside, please!"

Zhuang Lin said something and then entered the pagoda with the old monk Mo Ke.

Throughout the journey here, Zhuang Lin used magic to isolate his aura, so the old monk Mo Ke only knew that he had entered some kind of special restriction, but he did not know that he had traveled through time and space.

In modern times, all spiritual energy has been extremely weakened, and there is no spiritual energy around, so the old monk could not see anything.

However, as they entered the pagoda, the old monk's expression changed, and his eyes never left the weathered Buddha statue.

Inside the Buddha statue, the long-dormant aura of the evil Buddha became apparent, and Zhuang Lin watched from the side.

At this moment, outside the pagoda, Xi Miao and Wuming, who had been hiding, revealed themselves on the left and right. Outside the film and television city, many students, including Liu Hongyu, also appeared.

As Zhuang Lin removed a sliver of the restriction, a faint aura emanated from within the Buddha statue, transforming into a dark-colored old monk in front of it, identical to the old monk Mo Ke.

"It's you."

At this moment, the evil Buddha only saw the old monk, and his face showed a strange and peaceful expression.

The old monk Mo Ke stared blankly at the evil Buddha for a moment, then their energies collided, and a faint Buddhist light emanated from his body, and his expression calmed down.

"We have finally met again. With the Holy One's help, it seems we can finally settle things!"

The serene expression on the evil Buddha's face crumbled, turning ferocious in an instant. He reached out to grab the old monk, but was blocked by a layer of light.

"A clean break, well said, well said! I am the true Mahagater! You wicked creature who has strayed from my Buddha, I am the true Mahagater!"

The evil Buddha's hand had transformed into sharp claws. Even though it was shielded by a membrane of light and was only a hair's breadth away from the old monk, the old monk was clearly different from before, showing no fear on his face.

“Amitabha Buddha, this old monk has never claimed to be Maha Jieti. If you desire this title so much, then take it.”

As he spoke, the old monk looked at Zhuang Lin, bowed to him, and then, to the latter's slightly surprised look, took a step forward toward the evil Buddha.

"Please, Venerable One, help me!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the old monk broke through the light barrier, and the evil Buddha, like a beast freed from its restraints, pounced on the old monk.

However, the sharp teeth and claws did not tear the old monk apart, but rather merged into his body.

"Amitabha, Maha is neither me nor you. A novice monk practices meditation, but a dog becomes a tiger. Immeasurable cultivation arises from the ground. A towering building is but an illusion. The Buddha's teachings reside in the mind, not in the form. Good is me, and evil is also me."

At that moment, a bright light shone from the old monk's body, bursting out of the pagoda and illuminating a large part of the sky.
When the evil Buddha lunged at the old monk, Zhuang Lin almost couldn't help but intervene. He only breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the evil Buddha merge into the old monk's body. Then, when he saw the Buddha's light shining brightly, he couldn't help but open his Dharma Eyes to see.

But amidst the chanting of the old monk Moke, there were endless changes and causes and effects, and one could even vaguely see the shadowy figures of Buddhas and gods.
Even with his current level of cultivation, Zhuang Lin felt a faint sense of unease. This wasn't from a real threat, but rather from a budding suspicion.
