Chapter 646: It begins here, and it ends here.
"On your marks...Go!"

On set, Zhen Zidan gave the order, and the scene officially began.

The camera will follow the trajectory of the two fighters' battle, continuously filming what's behind them.

Models, sand table, costumes, actors, and all sorts of decorative items.

These things are memories of a generation, but now they're just tools for two crazy Yakuza to use against each other.

The two rushed into the sand table, and the battle continued. When Akira Nishikiyama was knocked to the ground, he crushed the architectural model behind him. The scene looked just like a monster being defeated in the work.

However, he was certainly not a monster, and this was not a skyscraper. The two of them were simply engaged in a battle that appeared to be huge, but was actually quite ordinary, within the toys.

In a frenzy, Akira Nishikiyama tightly bound Kazuma Kiryu to the train tracks. A model train sped towards them, momentarily making the two tense. But when the train crashed into them, they belatedly realized that this was actually just a model training area.

This battle took place between the two of them, who were in the form of ordinary people, beneath a gigantic building.

Akira Nishikiyama was no match for him, but he ran away quickly and turned to leave. Kazuma Kiryu gave chase, and the two eventually fought their way to the stage next door.

There were still many people watching a stage play with their children, but they were so frightened by the Yakuza rushing in that they scattered and fled. Even the various heroes who usually played roles in the stage play ran away and disappeared.

"Jinshan! Why! Why would you do such a thing? Was all that brotherhood just a lie?!"

"Kiryu, how could you possibly understand how I feel! Ten years in prison, everyone was calling your name, even the chairman's will specified you as the fourth generation, who cared about me, Akira Nishikiyama!"

"You killed so many people for this?!"

The two continued to vent their frustrations, throwing punches at each other.

However, at that moment, a roar suddenly erupted from the arena.

"Get out, all of you!"

In an instant, their eyes turned to the stage.

Wearing a tight-fitting leather suit and an inhuman mask, with the broken stage lights shining on him, at first glance, he really did look like a hero from a TV series.

But the two of them quickly realized what was happening.

He's not a hero, just an actor performing in a stage play.

"I don't care what you are, what you're called, what you're worth 10 billion, who's right or wrong, who betrayed whom, what does it have to do with us! You barged into someone's home and started a fight, treating everything someone worked so hard to create as trash in your battle. You're the ones who should apologize! Apologize to me, then get out of our film set!"

Despite his trembling and the shock of his body, which seemed to be even causing his stomach to contract, what resonated throughout the scene was a heartfelt roar.

Whether it's justice or evil.

But what does this have to do with us?
We were just living peacefully here, and suddenly we became victims!
Kiryu Kazuma was silent for a moment. He had been clenching his fists, but then he gradually relaxed them.

Yakuza, who acts in the name of benevolence and righteousness, is now forced to question the meaning of life.

—Do I truly represent justice? If I am just, then why are there such ruins and devastations all around, a scene of desolation after a battle?

why?
But Jinshan clearly didn't want to think about such questions.

Facing a stage actor who was throwing punches, Akira Nishikiyama delivered a knee strike to the actor's abdomen, followed by a backhand punch that knocked him to the ground.

The stage actor lying on his back on the ground never revealed his true face in the end.

"Jinshan!"

Kiryu Kazuma clenched his fist again.

Now, he finally understands.

Akira Nishikiyama, who can arbitrarily harm innocent people, has completely betrayed his original vow and is no longer the partner who shared life and death with him. The current Akira Nishikiyama is just a loser who has abandoned everything and was driven by self-interest.

The two engaged in their final battle, the battle of 'Tiger and Carp'. They removed their outer garments, revealing their true selves; the crouching tiger and carp on their backs were the symbols representing them within the Yakuza community. When one had descended into madness, while the other was no longer confused, the battle finally came to an end.

Kazuma Kiryu finally knocked over Akira Nishikiyama, and outside came the belated sound of police sirens.

He knelt on the ground, using his torn suit to wrap the blood on his palms, with Nishikiyama Akira lying motionless on his back beside him.

……

Gu Ming, half-undressed, sat to one side, his mask and half-body suit trailing behind his chest, making him look like a parasite emerging from behind the suit.

After the battle, Akira Nishikiyama was arrested, while Kazuma Kiryu announced that he would transfer the identity of the Fourth Boss to the Fifth Boss and leave the Tojo Clan. He then drove away from Tokyo, a city full of troubles, with Haruka Sawamura in tow.

The story ends here.

After the last shot was filmed, Gu Ming stood up and applauded with the others.

"Congratulations!"

"Congratulations."

"Long live the wrap-up!"

I can't say why I was so excited, but when the filming was finished, everyone was clapping and venting their emotions.

"Let's all get closer and take a group photo," Gu Ming called out to everyone, raising his camera as he did so.

With a click, the camera captured everyone's face.

Zhen Zidan with bruises on her face, Hiroshi Abe looking relieved, Hikari Mitsushima looking somewhat bewildered but also relieved to have finished filming, Takashi Miike looking a little reserved, and Hajime Manya showing half of his face.

From lighting to cinematography to sound recording, the entire crew, including the extras who were just lying on the ground groaning...

Everything is captured in this super wide-angle lens.

Gu Ming unfolded his handheld DV camera and casually asked the crowd a question.

"Michi, what are your plans for the future?"

Takashi Miike grinned, his smile not that of a good person: "In the future, if Furuya-san doesn't mind, I'd like to continue directing. Whatever you ask me to film, I'll film."

"Dennis?"

Zhen Zidan shrugged: "I want to go back to Hong Kong and give it a try."

"Abe-kun?"

Hiroshi Abe bowed and said, "Thank you, Furuya-kun, for giving me this opportunity. Surprisingly, I portrayed a very rich character. If I have the chance in the future, I will probably not hesitate to participate in collaborations again."

"Xiaoguang?"

Mitsushima Hikari looked up at Tani Akira. "What time is dinner tonight?"

Gu Ming chuckled and closed the DV camera.

"That's right, then let's prepare dinner!"

Gu Ming turned around, looked at the film set behind him, and silently recited a sentence in his heart.

Long live the wrap-up!

The story that begins here also ends here.

The final episode will be edited and submitted to TBS tomorrow; that will be the ending of "Yakuza".
