Hollywood starts with an agent

Chapter 145: Brothel and Poison Den

Chapter 145: Brothel and Poison Den

After leaving the fundraising dinner, Jack Wills and Aaron went to the Viper House bar in Hollywood.

"You know, Aaron, Johnny Depp recently invested in this bar!"

On the sofa, Jack Wells introduced Aaron with a smile.

"Johnny Depp, are they planning to use this place as their base?"

I guess it would be more appropriate to call it a brothel or a drug den!
"About that," Jack Wills, of course, also knew Johnny Depp.

Suddenly, Jack Wills saw two black men not far away, Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur, both outstanding young black rappers and producers;
Sean Combs was already a senior executive at Uptown Records at the age of 23, and Tupac Shakur was only 21 and already had a certain degree of fame!

"Aaron, black director John Singleton is currently filming a new movie. Do you know?"

Jack Wells asked, at the just-concluded Oscars, John Singleton became the first African-American director to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Director for his film "Boyz n the Hood."

"Oh, John has a new movie?" Aaron really didn't pay much attention.

"Well, Columbia Pictures invested in a romantic film called "Justins Who Write Poems" about young black people. The heroine is Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson's sister.

"The male lead is a black rapper named Tupac Shakur."

Jack Wells knew this because he had met the crew yesterday, and he knew more about the situation of black people in the entertainment industry than Aaron did.

Just like Aaron, it’s normal not to know Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur because they are only slightly famous now;

And Aaron doesn't pay much attention to black rappers.

Aaron said with disdain, "Columbia, I discovered last year that they were very close to John Singleton;"

"Do you really think that just getting an Oscar nomination for Best Director will allow you to rise to the top?"

Jack Wells could also hear the dissatisfaction in Aaron's heart. After all, it was Aaron Anderson who supported him in filming "Boyz on the Hood";

Is John Singleton working directly with his previous distributor, Columbia, for his new film?
Jack Wells smiled, looked in the direction of the two men, and narrowed his eyes. "Black people are really unreliable!"

John Singleton's "Boyz n the Hood" was a success and had no shortage of investors.

Aaron took a sip of his wine. "If they were reliable, even sows would climb trees."

After a while, when Aaron left, Jack Wells did not go home immediately. Instead, he notified his friends through the public phone outside and prepared to teach Tupac Shakur a lesson!
Soon, Jack Wills' old friend John Levine came over, and the two of them stared at Tupac Shakur together;

It wasn't until after 1 a.m. that Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur staggered out of the Viper House bar.

"Let's go," Jack Wells and John Levine, who were in the car at the door, got out and followed. "Go!" After reaching the alley, Jack Wells and John Levine rushed over with baseball bats, each killing one person.

"Bang, bang, ah, ah!"

After two screams, the drunk Sean Combs and Tupac Shakur fell to the ground with blood on their heads!
Jack Wills hit Tupac Shakur on the head with a stick, then grabbed his dreadlocks and slammed him against the wall before he fainted, just to prevent the filming of "Justins Who Writes Poetry" from going smoothly;
John Levine was much more ruthless. He hit Sean Combs directly on the back of the head with a stick. The blood flowed profusely and the man fainted.

After quickly taking off the necklaces, watches, cash and other valuables from the two people, he dragged them into the garbage dump nearby and left quickly.

After discarding the baseball bat and glove, John Levine was excited. "Jack, these two guys are really rich! Gold bracelets, gold necklaces, gold watches, gold rings, and thousands of dollars in cash on them!"

Jack Wells didn't care much and gave everything to the other party. "John, were you too rough just now?"

"Well, who knows? Didn't you say we should be careful and not be discovered?"

John Levin has confidence in himself. It is difficult for the guy who was attacked by himself to survive.

"Okay," Jack Wells didn't care much about the other guy. Tupac Shakur must be seriously injured anyway, and the injury on his head was not light!
"By the way, John, I heard that the verdict for the four police officers in the Rodney King beating case is coming soon. If they are acquitted, black people may violently protest;"

"During this period, the security of the two cinemas near the city center needs to be more careful."

Jack Wells didn't think Aaron's guess was groundless, he was worried too.

"Want to buy for free?" John Levin smiled.

"Don't worry, we've encountered this many times. No one can get away with it at our hands. We've killed many black people and Mexicans!"

Jack Wells nodded and said, "John, it's next month, shall we go to Russia?"

John Levin thought for a moment, "Have you really thought it through? You're not short of money now!"

"Everyone has to have their own career. Now I feel that managing these theaters is not the life I want..."

The next morning, a dead Negro and a severely wounded Negro were found in a garbage dump in the neighborhood near the Viper House bar;

The person who died was none other than Sean Combs, a black rapper from New York. He had just performed at a star basketball game held by City College of the City University of New York at the end of last year when a stampede occurred, directly resulting in the tragedy of 9 deaths and 29 injuries.

Tupac Shakur, stage name 2Pac, was admitted to the intensive care unit. He released a rap album last year, which was publicly condemned by US Vice President Dan Quayle, which attracted a lot of attention. The black crime film "The Harley Brothers" in which he starred was just released at the beginning of the year. He is currently filming the new film "Justins Who Write Poems" directed by John Singleton in Los Angeles!
According to preliminary estimates by the Los Angeles police, the two were attacked during a robbery last night.

2Pac had just debuted, and Sean Combs hadn’t yet formed his own Bad Boy Records label and become the future famous P. Diddy;

Therefore, the incident involving the two did not cause much of a stir. After all, in Los Angeles, it was quite normal for two black rappers to be robbed and attacked!
Jack Wills didn't know that his impulsive decision would cause heavy losses to the future of black rap...
