Chapter 108 Appearance
Inside the iceberg is Deliora, who was sealed by Uru at the cost of his life. She is one of the demons created by the legendary "Dark Magician" Zeref.

Uru may never have thought that some of her disciples would try to lift the seal and release the imprisoned demon.

A masked young man stood in front of the iceberg. He stared at Deliora and said, "It will be soon. In a short time, the seal will be completely broken. I will prove to you, Uru, that I have surpassed you."

Although the mask covered most of his face, from the exposed part, it could be seen that his eyes were deep and his ice-blue eyes had a cold light.

"Master Leon." A shirtless man with a dog-like face appeared before Leon. "A strange wizard has landed on the island."

Leon just waved his hand casually, not caring: "Just drive them away. Now is a critical moment, I must keep an eye on the progress here."

"Woof, I understand. Just leave everything to us." Toby replied respectfully.

At the same time, Weiss was heading towards the pyramid. He felt that the magic here was much stronger than that in the outside world.

"Is this the effect of the 'Moon Drop' ritual?"

Weiss pondered in his heart that the moon represented many symbolic meanings in mysticism, and for magicians, it contained immeasurable power.

[I just don't know if Urrutia deliberately revealed this ritual to Leon.]

Weiss was very interested in the residents of this island.

The residents of the island have strange appearances and resemble legendary demons.

These islanders live the lives of ordinary fishermen, no different from humans in the outside world, and their language and customs are not much different.

No extraordinary magical talent.

What causes these residents' peculiar appearances? Are they the product of a mad wizard's experiments? Or is it the work of a demonic prank?
Just as Wes was immersed in these questions, Toby suddenly jumped out from the nearby bushes and blocked his way.

"Stop, stranger! No passage ahead!" Toby bared his fangs and made a threatening gesture.

"Goblin?" Wes couldn't help but blurt out when he saw Toby's unusual appearance.

"Asshole," Toby retorted with spit flying, "I'm not a kobold. I just like dogs. Dogs are man's most sincere friends."

Toby seemed to be lost in his own world, talking non-stop.

Wes didn't understand his train of thought and thought: If I like dogs, there's no need to turn myself into a dog, right?
However, the current situation is that the road ahead is covered with weeds, and the only passage is blocked by Toby.

"Could you please move aside? You're blocking my way."

Hearing this, Toby touched the back of his head embarrassedly: "Oh, sorry." After that, he took the initiative to move away and make way for Wes.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome... What the hell!" Toby bared his fangs immediately after realizing what was happening. "What a cunning fellow! He almost tricked me!"

Wes looked at Toby and couldn't help but feel a little amused.

[Is this guy stupid or naive? ]

"Asshole, you'll pay a heavy price for deceiving Master Toby!" Toby's face darkened, his nails growing longer and turning a dark green. "If my nails scratch the skin even a little, you'll be paralyzed and unable to move." Weiss tried to persuade him kindly, "I don't have time to fight you right now..."

"That's not up to you!" Toby crossed his arms and charged straight at Wes. He was so agile, so fast that it was almost impossible to see his movements.

Wes remained standing still in the face of Toby's active attack.

"Haha, you're scared by me, right?" Toby laughed triumphantly, his sharp claws piercing into "Wes"'s body. "Don't worry, I won't kill you. My magic is paralysis magic, it will only make you lose consciousness temporarily."

"Really? You are really kind."

"That's right, I'm not a person who kills indiscriminately." Toby was very proud after hearing the compliment, but the next second, his face suddenly changed.

Because the sound came from behind him.

The limbs of "Wes" he stabbed suddenly twisted and stretched, turning into several strong and flexible vines. These vines bound Toby in circles.

No matter how hard Toby struggled, he could not break free from these tough bonds.

"Damn it!" Toby roared angrily, but his voice was suppressed by the vines and sounded weak.

"Give up. This is the Devil's Ivy that I improved. You can't break free with brute force alone."

Toby lay on the ground like a worm, his body struggling to move under the restraint of the vines.

"How could this happen..." He roared angrily, "Asshole! If you have the guts, fight me head-on. What's the point of attacking me from behind?"

Weiss ignored Toby's shouting and just looked at him calmly. "Take me to see your boss."

"Don't even think about it! I will never betray Leon!" Toby refused flatly.

"Oh, so your boss's name is Leon." Wes teased Toby condescendingly, "Can you tell me more about him?"

"You cunning fellow!" He immediately realized that he might have leaked crucial information. Toby's face turned panicked, and sweat trickled down his cheeks. "Don't even think about getting any information out of me!"

"You're just talking nonsense." Weiss turned his gaze towards the depths of the woods. "Besides, it seems your boss is here."

With the sound of clothes rubbing against the grass, a masked figure appeared in front of the two.

The moment he saw Leon appear, "Leon!" Toby ignored the restraints on his body and struggled to crawl forward until he reached Leon's feet.

Weiss didn't stop it, but just watched it all happen quietly.

Leon did not respond to Toby immediately, but just stared at Wes silently until he walked to Toby, then he stretched out a hand and pressed it on the devil vine that was wrapped around Toby.

A chill spread from his palm, covering the tangled vines.

Toby felt the restraints on his body suddenly become stiff, turning into cold and hard ice vines. Under Leon's precise control, the ice did not touch Toby's body.

Toby felt the restraints gradually loosen, and he gathered all his strength. When Leon's coldness completely froze the devil vine, Toby suddenly exerted force, his muscles tensed like springs, and then he struggled violently!
"Crash!" With a crisp sound, the devil vines that were frozen into ice turned into fragments all over the ground, like broken glass scattered on the ground.
