Chapter 149 Agent
They all wondered in their hearts, what is the identity of this seemingly ordinary young man?
Why would Iron Man, who holds such an important position in the United States, come all the way to find him?

All kinds of questions swirled in people's minds, but Weiss seemed to be in an independent world and completely ignored these curious looks.

After lunch, Weiss walked out of the restaurant calmly.

As soon as he walked out, a black SUV stopped steadily in front of him.

Coulson, whose hair was becoming increasingly thinner, slowly got out of the car with a kind smile on his face.

"Mr. Irwin, long time no see." Coulson's voice was gentle and steady.

Wes was not surprised at all. He had already sensed Coulson's presence with his keen perception.

"You guys are really omnipresent." Weiss's words contained a hint of sarcasm.

Under the astonished gazes of Coulson and the agents, Wes got into the car.

"Come on, take me to see your boss."

His tone was calm and decisive.

"Okay, Mr. Irwin." Coulson immediately ordered everyone to get in the car and set off.

The roar of the engine sounded, and the car drove away quickly, leaving behind a crowd of curious eyes and people talking.

The convoy moved smoothly through the streets, wheels rolling.

Finally, they arrived in the bustling center of New York City.

The scene of tall buildings and busy traffic here makes people feel the vitality and hustle and bustle of this city.

The convoy slowly drove into the Seraphim Building. This magnificent building exuded modernity and majesty under the sunlight.

"Most people wouldn't imagine a secret organization would set up shop in such a bustling place, and in such a conspicuous place."

Coulson proudly introduced: "This is one of the largest bases of S.H.I.E.L.D."

As soon as you enter the underground garage, you can see armed patrol officers everywhere.

They looked serious and alert, always maintaining a high state of vigilance.

"The defense level here is the highest. This building can withstand a magnitude 10 earthquake, and it also has air-raid shelters that can withstand nuclear bomb attacks."

Coulson introduced the defense facilities here in detail, his tone full of confidence.

The car stopped next to an elevator.

"Coulson, long time no see." A bearded, model-like, fully armed man walked over with a group of people.

His steps were firm and powerful, and he exuded a fierce aura.

"Crossbones? Why are you here?"

Coulson's face was full of surprise; he didn't remember Crossbones' name being on today's patrol list.

"Oh, Locke has an urgent mission, and the boss asked me to hold on for a while. My hard-earned vacation is ruined."

Crossbones complained, a look of helplessness on his face.

Coulson patted his shoulder in understanding, his eyes full of sympathy.

Crossbones looked at Weiss. "Who is this?"

"Guest," Coulson replied briefly, not revealing Wes's identity.

"I see." Crossbones nodded in understanding. "We need to check it according to procedure."

"Crossbones…" Coulson tried to stop him.

"Coulson, you know, rules are rules."

Crossbones spoke in a firm tone, and the two burly men behind him immediately stepped forward to search Wes's body.

Wes glanced at them.

In an instant, the two people stood still, unable to move, even unable to blink.

"What are you doing?" Crossbones urged.

However, when he found that he could not move and stood there like a sculpture, his heart was filled with shock.

Wes walked into the elevator with an expressionless face and gestured to Coulson to come in.

Coulson hurried into the elevator, his heart filled with awe at Wes's mysterious power.

The elevator door slowly closed, leaving behind a group of people like sculptures.

"Mr. Erwin, they have no ill intentions. It's just the way the procedure is."

Coulson quickly explained, a hint of apology in his tone.

"Whether you have any ill intentions or not, I know." Wes responded calmly, and after saying this, he closed his eyes and ignored Coulson.

Seeing this, Coulson stopped explaining. He knew that it would be useless to say more at this moment.

"Ding!!" The elevator arrived at the top floor.

Coulson led the way. This floor seemed particularly quiet, with no one in sight. It was so empty that people wondered if it was a shell company.

However, Weiss was able to detect that this floor was actually full of traps.

With such a powerful firepower deployment, even the well-trained Navy SEALs would not be able to break in.

Coulson opened a door and stood respectfully aside.

After Weiss went in, he closed the door gently.

In the room, a boiled egg in a black leather jacket - Nick Fury stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the bustling city of New York.

Wes ignored the mysterious Nick Fury, sat on the sofa and took out a book.

For a moment, no one spoke, and the only sound in the huge room was the sound of Wes flipping through the pages of a book.

Ten minutes passed and the room was still silent.

Half an hour later, Nick Fury finally broke the silence.

"You know what? You're not the only special one in this world."

Perhaps he'd seen enough, or perhaps he couldn't pretend anymore, but Nick Fury said, "The world is vast, and there are people more powerful than you..."

"You mean the gods of Asgard in Norse mythology, the Skrulls and Kree in the universe," Weiss responded without looking up.

Nick Fury's eyes almost popped out of his head: "How did you know that? Did you hack into our intelligence system?"

The king of spies thought he could intimidate Wes and take the initiative in the conversation, but he didn't expect that his underwear would be stripped off by others.

"These are just common sense. You are the only ones who treat them as secrets." Weiss's words were full of sarcasm.

He raised his chin slightly, with a hint of disdain in his eyes.

"It's like a beggar holding onto a piece of bread and thinking it's the most delicious food in the world."

His metaphors are sharp and direct, mercilessly revealing the narrowness of SHIELD's information perception.

Fortunately, Nick Fury's skin color is dark enough, otherwise Wes would be able to see his amazing face-changing skills of changing from black to red and then back to black.

At that moment, Nick Fury's heart may have been filled with shock and anger, but his resolute face remained calm.

"Are you an alien?" Nick Fury stared at Wes, trying to find the answer from his expression.

"Whatever you think. I came here today for only one purpose." Weiss put away the book with a quick and decisive movement.

"I don't like being surrounded by flies 24 hours a day. It's annoying." Wes's tone was very firm and there was no room for negotiation.

"Withdraw your men, or you'll never see them again."

"Are you threatening me?" Nick Fury's voice was low and majestic, with an unquestionable momentum.
