Chapter 88 Prologue 1
"The Ministry of Magic officials are full of shit," Moody continued to criticize the Ministry of Magic like an angry young man. "They should be searching for traces of Death Eaters now."

“Those people just want to keep their positions.”

Moody was very happy that Wes agreed with him and had a good impression of Wes. Although Moody's magic power was not as deep as Wes's, he was very experienced in combat and shared many useful combat techniques.

"You can't be soft-hearted when dealing with dark wizards. They won't give you a second chance."

Moody has a deep understanding of the Dark Arts and does not shy away from using them. According to Moody, only by being more cruel, more despicable, and having a better understanding of the Dark Arts than those wizards can one suppress them.

When the new semester started, the students were most worried about the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Everyone had heard of the legend of "Mad-Eye" Moody and was worried that he would cast Unforgivable Curses on the students just as he had on the Death Eaters.

What students don’t know is that although Moody is strict, he is very sensible and will not hit students.

"The previous Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher was too gentle," Moody said in a conversation with Weiss. "We need to make students truly understand the dangers of the dark forces."

He was very satisfied with the battle practice that Weiss had arranged before and decided to keep it. Moody's course was much stricter than Professor Lupin's, and the young wizards complained bitterly, especially the Slytherin students.

Most of the criminals Moody arrested were from Slytherin school, and some of them had relatives or parents who were imprisoned in Azkaban by him. Growing up hearing about his deeds, these children feared and hated him.

"If you become like your parents when you grow up, I will throw you into Azkaban to reunite with them." Moody's words scared several children to tears, which gave the students of the other three colleges a lot of fun.

Time flies, and it is already October in the blink of an eye.

On this day, all teachers and students in the school took a day off to welcome guests from afar - students and headmasters from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons.

Representatives from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang schools of wizardry will arrive at Hogwarts today.

Although the average temperature in the UK in October is around 10℃-6℃, it is cloudy and rainy today. Students are hiding under their raincoats and have begun to complain about the bad weather.

The sound of wings flapping in the air came from the sky, and the sharp-eyed students had already seen the huge aerial carriage - it was simply a mobile villa, the body of which shone with golden light and was decorated with gorgeous patterns.

The carriage is pulled by eight rune horses, whose size and strength far exceed those of ordinary horses, giving them great physical strength and endurance.

Amidst music and magical lights, a huge aerial carriage slowly descended onto the Hogwarts campus.

The car door opened and a woman came out.

She was tall, even a head taller than Hagrid, and exuded a majestic aura that was truly impressive.

This lady is Madame Olympe Maxime, the headmistress of Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Following behind Madame Maxime are the students of Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

These students were obviously dressed up carefully, wearing exquisite silk robes, and stepped out of the carriage gracefully, looking very noble and elegant.

One of the girls attracted the attention of most students. She had long silver hair, deep and clear blue eyes, and a face as delicate as a princess in a fairy tale.

The girl was Fleur Delacour, and she stood out in the crowd. The students of Hogwarts all looked at her with envy, especially the boys, who were all attracted by her beauty.

"Wow, Beauxbatons students are so beautiful."

While Dumbledore was chatting with Madame Maxime, a low roar suddenly came from the sky.

The students of Hogwarts looked up and saw a huge black ship slowly rising from the lake. It was a spectacular sight. The black ship docked at the shore, and Igor Karkaroff and the students of Durmstrang, wearing fur cloaks and blood-red robes, walked down from the ship in a menacing manner.

Viktor Krum, Seeker for the Bulgarian national Quidditch team, stood beside Karkaroff, his presence causing quite a stir.

"Merlin's beard is actually Krum!!" In the just-concluded Quidditch World Cup, Krum showed his skills and became an idol in the hearts of countless fans.

Now, he actually came to Hogwarts as a student of Durmstrang, which made the whole campus boil.

"Long time no see, Dumbledore." Karkaroff first hugged Dumbledore, then proudly introduced Krum to him: "This is the best seeker in the world and a champion of our school - Viktor Krum."

Krum was very humble and not as flamboyant as Karkaroff. He nodded slightly and greeted Dumbledore.

Dumbledore smiled and responded, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Krum. You have certainly impressed me."

Dumbledore welcomed the guests into the Great Hall, where everyone took off their raincoats due to the warmth. The house-elves had already prepared a sumptuous dinner, featuring French and Nordic food to welcome the guests.

The auditorium was filled with all kinds of tempting aromas, and students sat around long tables, tasting food from different countries.

Halfway through the banquet, Dumbledore stood up, knocked on the cup, and signaled everyone to be quiet.

"Dear students," Dumbledore's voice echoed in the hall, "Today, we not only welcome friends from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, but also an important ceremony is about to begin. Together we will unveil the Goblet of Fire."

Witnessed by everyone, the three headmasters, Dumbledore, Madame Maxime and Karkaroff, walked up to the podium together and unveiled the black cloth covering the Goblet of Fire.

The Goblet of Fire looks like just an old wooden cup, nothing special about it, however, it is the highest honor that students in magic schools across Europe can receive.

Dumbledore explained, "This Goblet of Fire will select the champions for the Triwizard Tournament. Any student aged 17 or over may place their name in the Goblet of Fire. Tomorrow night, the Goblet of Fire will select a champion from each school to compete in the upcoming tournament."

There was a sudden buzz in the auditorium. The students had already started planning how to register for the competition. They were discussing excitedly, hoping to seize this great opportunity to stand out.

"To prevent younger students from voting," Dumbledore drew a line on the ground, "this is the age limit. Students under the age of 17 cannot cross this line."

Some younger students have already begun to figure out how to bypass Dumbledore's magic.

Dumbledore knew what his students were thinking, but he didn't intend to interfere. If even his students could break his magic, he wouldn't deserve to be called the greatest white wizard.
