Chapter 90 Conspiracy
Chapter 90 Conspiracy
In the headmaster's office, Weiss and Moody were sitting across from Dumbledore's desk. There were three cups of steaming hot tea on the table, but no one was tasting them. A tense atmosphere filled the air.
Moody's blue artificial eye kept moving, as if looking for hidden clues, and his low voice was the first to break the silence in the office.
"It's abnormal. It's very abnormal."
Dumbledore supported his head with his left hand, his brow furrowed. "Harry doesn't have the strength to put his name into the Goblet of Fire."
"Yes, Harry was also surprised that he was chosen. He couldn't fool me."
Moody was very confident in his observation skills and he would never believe that a student's lies could be hidden from him.
Weiss saw these two people racking their brains and decided to help them think.
"Professors wouldn't do such a silly thing. If students have the ability, why would they write Harry's name?"
"Excluding all impossibilities, there remains only one reason—someone has a reason to let Harry participate in the competition."
"Who could it be?" Moody trembled his left foot and rolled his fake eyes.
Dumbledore began to ponder, his eyes looking out the window into the distance. The room was so quiet that only the ticking of the clock could be heard.
Dumbledore seemed to have thought of something. He withdrew his gaze and looked back at Weiss and Moody in front of him.
"While participating in the Triwizard Tournament is an honorable thing, it is also dangerous, so the person who put Harry's name in the Goblet of Fire could not have been Harry's friend."
"Death Eaters," Moody pounded his cane into the floor. "They've been very active since the Quidditch World Cup. They even attacked me."
"Now that I think about it, the attack on you was very strange. They hadn't sought revenge on you for all these years, so why did they attack you this year?" Weiss added.
Dumbledore and Moody were both smart men, and with a little guidance from Weiss, they quickly deduced the Death Eaters' plan.
Moody had one point he couldn't figure out, so he raised a question: "The Goblet of Fire, their goal is to let Harry touch the Goblet of Fire, but what's the point?"
Dumbledore suddenly stood up. "A portkey. They can make the Goblet of Fire into a portkey. That way they can transport Harry out of Hogwarts and out of my sight."
After hearing what Dumbledore said, Moody stood up suddenly and prepared to leave the office.
"Wait a minute," Weiss stopped him hastily.
"What are you waiting for? There's a problem with the Goblet of Fire. We have to stop the game." Moody was very anxious.
"and then?"
"Of course, we need to find that damn Death Eater and put him in Azkaban!" Moody gritted his teeth in hatred when Death Eaters were mentioned.
"and then?"
Faced with Weiss's follow-up questions, Moody didn't know how to answer for a moment.
"Ok??"
"Catching one Death Eater won't solve the fundamental problem. They'll have countless opportunities to attack Harry," Weiss knocked on the table. "Why don't we take advantage of their own tactic?"
"You mean..."
Moody's interest piqued, and Dumbledore settled back into his comfortable office chair. Moody, in particular, was eager to hear what Wes was planning next. Wes looked up and motioned for Moody to sit down first. "I remember he only appears in the final Goblet of Fire match, right?"
"Yes, the first contestant to find the trophy will win."
Weiss continued, "That means the students are safe before this, and the Death Eaters don't dare to take action in Hogwarts."
At this point, Dumbledore and Moody had already reacted.
"The Death Eaters went to such great lengths to teleport Harry away. It must be for a big event. Perhaps this was arranged by Voldemort." He picked up a cup of black tea, blew on it gently, and then took a sip. "We just need to follow Harry to discover their plan."
"Dumbledore, this is a great opportunity!" Moody slammed the table excitedly, his cane thumping heavily on the ground. "Even if this wasn't planned by Voldemort himself, if we can capture a few more Death Eaters, we can force them to reveal Voldemort's whereabouts."
Dumbledore was impressed by the plan, but he was still hesitant.
"We can make a portkey and put it on Harry, and we'll follow him as soon as he disappears. With you, me, and Moody here, even Voldemort in his prime will be defeated."
Weiss's words made Dumbledore make up his mind. He stood up, walked to the window, and stared at the campus in the night. "That's it, but we have to protect the children."
"Of course," Weiss said seriously. After all, as a Hogwarts professor, he wouldn't risk the children's safety. "To be on the safe side, I think we can make two preparations. Cedric is also a Hogwarts student. You don't want anything to happen to him, do you?"
"What about Fleur and Krum?" Moody asked worriedly, gripping his cane tightly. "Should we tell the other two schools? I don't trust that Karkaroff brat; he was a former Death Eater."
"There's no need to tell anyone else. The Death Eaters' target is Harry, and they don't want to cause any more trouble."
"I'll ask Severus to get information from Karkaroff." Dumbledore agreed with Weiss: "We just need to let Harry or Cedric touch the Goblet of Fire first."
"The same goes for the Death Eaters, and we are in the dark now." Moody thought about it and realized that with preparation, this plan could be said to be flawless.
"Moody, I leave Harry in your care. At least make sure he has the strength to protect himself before we arrive." Dumbledore looked at Moody with trust.
"No problem, I'll make sure Harry is safe."
"Leave it to me, Cedric," Weiss volunteered to take over the task.
Dumbledore was slightly stunned. He didn't expect Weiss to be so proactive this time.
Weiss just wanted to get rid of Voldemort and the Death Eaters once and for all. Weiss was tired of these guys causing trouble every year.

"Dong~dong~"
Cedric knocked on Wes's office door.
"Come in." Weiss's voice came from behind the door.
Hearing Weiss's voice, Cedric straightened his clothes, took a deep breath, opened the door and walked in. The office was softly lit, the bookshelves were filled with various magic books, and the air was filled with a faint scent of ink.
"Professor." Cedric greeted him and then stood there, looking a little uneasy. He didn't know why Weiss asked him to come over, and he was confused when he received the notice.
Weiss sat behind his desk, looking at Cedric gently. "Please sit down, Cedric." He pointed to a chair opposite.
The Harry Potter storyline will be finished in the next few days. The protagonist will go to a new world, and before going to the new world, the Harry Potter storyline needs to be completed.
