Chapter 92 I’m waiting for you

It has just entered November and the first Triwizard Tournament is about to begin. The long-awaited Triwizard Tournament has attracted countless people's attention. Not only are the students and professors of Hogwarts excited, but even the Ministry of Magic attaches great importance to it.

As the main person in charge, Barty Crouch led the various departments of the Ministry of Magic to work closely together to ensure the smooth progress of the competition. The Ministry of Magic intended to use the success of the Triwizard Tournament to cover up the failure of the Quidditch World Cup, so they had high hopes for this game.

The four warriors underwent wand inspections and pre-match interviews. The audience was getting a little impatient while waiting. Finally, amid warm applause, the game officially began.

The first game was a duel against the Fire Dragon.

Cedric's performance was far superior to that of the book, and Wes's special training paid off. He used clever strategies and powerful magical skills to successfully retrieve the golden egg from the dragon's lair, and the audience cheered for his outstanding performance.

When it was Harry's turn, he also showed amazing courage and wisdom. Although he was a little nervous at first, he had enough strength under Moody's special training. Harry used his flying skills to cleverly avoid the dragon's attack and finally got the golden egg.

During the scoring session, Karkaroff actually gave Harry a high score.

This aroused Wes's suspicion. He thought that Karkaroff might have been replaced by Barty Crouch Jr. or was under some kind of threat, but these speculations were not important. The key was to ensure the safety of Harry and other warriors.

Soon, the warriors will go through the final round of matches, and the Quidditch pitch will be transformed into the venue for the final game, with a huge maze standing in the center.

Before the game, Wes called Cedric aside and handed him two things: "This pocket watch can help you block a fatal attack. As for this..." Wes handed a worn glove to Cedric with disgust.

"This was made by Dumbledore. If you are transported out of Hogwarts, don't panic. Just input a little magic to activate it, and we will come with the portkey."

Cedric solemnly took the two items and hid them carefully.

When he was about to leave, Weiss stopped him: "Cedric, don't force yourself. Harry..."

"Professor, I am a chosen hero." Cedric left with a smile, "And didn't you say that my strength has surpassed that of ordinary adult wizards? You must have confidence in me." Cedric said this and left.

With a whistle, the game officially begins.

Harry, Cedric, Krum and Fleur entered the maze in turn according to their results in the first two rounds. The audience was silent as everyone held their breath.

Weiss sat down next to Dumbledore. Moody closed his eyes, trying to gather his strength, seemingly unconcerned with the game. Only Dumbledore kept an eye on the progress of the game, his gaze fixed on the entrance to the maze.

Inside the maze, the four warriors each took action. Krum and Fleur soon fell far behind. Anyone with a discerning eye could see that they had lost the qualification to compete for the championship.

Now it was Harry and Cedric who were competing for the championship, and the Triwizard Tournament had almost become a civil war at Hogwarts.

As Harry and Cedric drew closer to the Goblet of Fire, Dumbledore had the Elder Wand in his hand and Moody had opened his eyes.

The atmosphere in the audience became extremely tense, and everyone was waiting for the final result.

Harry and Cedric finally saw the Goblet of Fire and rushed towards it at the same time. Just as they touched the Goblet of Fire, a vortex suddenly appeared and teleported them out of Hogwarts.

The Goblet of Fire was made into a portkey, and in front of thousands of people, Harry and Cedric disappeared.

There was an uproar in the audience.

"what happened?"

"Why is he missing?" "Who is the champion?"

The officials of the Ministry of Magic were also bewildered. They had no idea what was going on. According to the rules, the champion would be decided the moment the brave man touched the Goblet of Fire, but the two contestants disappeared in full view of the public.

Only Weiss, Dumbledore and Moody knew the truth at the scene.

"Too slow," Moody kept glancing at his pocket watch. "A minute has already passed. Why hasn't the Portkey been activated yet?"

"Don't worry," Dumbledore reassured Moody, "With the magic props Weiss gave us, Harry and the others can stay alive."

After another five minutes, everyone realized that something was wrong.

Cedric's parents anxiously asked the officials of the Ministry of Magic, and the audience also began to become anxious and uneasy, and everyone began to have bad associations.

Professor McGonagall approached Dumbledore and asked, "What happened, Dumbledore?"

Her intuition told her that Dumbledore must know what happened.

Just as Dumbledore was about to explain, something in his arms suddenly began to feel hot.

He quickly took out the worn glove and said, "No time to explain, Minerva. I leave this to you." After saying this, Dumbledore disappeared with Weiss and Moody.

Meanwhile, Harry and Cedric appeared in a dark and desolate place, which was Little Hangleton Cemetery.

Surrounded by ancient trees and barren fields, the cemetery is filled with old tombstones and weeds. They are shrouded in thick fog, and the air is filled with a smell of decay.

Voldemort has been resurrected and summoned his Death Eaters.

They surrounded Cedric and Harry, who stood back to back, injured.

The pocket watch that Weiss gave to Cedric was broken after being hit by Voldemort and lay on the ground smoking. There was a deep wound on Cedric's arm and blood was constantly flowing out.

"Don't be afraid," Cedric comforted Harry, "Professor Irwin and the headmaster will be here soon."

Harry swallowed nervously, the wound on his arm bleeding profusely.

Voldemort was obviously surprised that he didn't get rid of Cedric. His blood-red eyes stared at Cedric, as if he could see through him.

Cedric felt as if he was being stared at by a poisonous snake, and the hairs on his body stood on end.

"It's an interesting magic prop, but I don't know how many times it can block my attacks." Voldemort said with a sneer. As soon as he finished speaking, a light green light shot out from his wand and went straight towards Cedric.

Just as the deadly curse was about to hit Cedric, Weiss, Dumbledore and Moody suddenly appeared in front of them, and Weiss waved his wand to knock away Voldemort's curse.

"Professor!" Cedric exclaimed in surprise.

"Well done, Cedric." Weiss praised, then raised his wand and pointed it at Voldemort, "The rest is up to us."
