Chapter 95 Review
"That guy got away. He was as slippery as a loach."

Moody returned to Hogwarts with a depressed look on his face. He went straight to Dumbledore's office and couldn't help complaining to Weiss who had been waiting for a long time.

Weiss didn't make fun of him. Moody was already old, but he was still fighting on the front line against the Death Eaters. This was a very remarkable thing in itself.

Moody himself was very concerned about this failure and was still sulking with himself until Dumbledore returned to his office.

Dumbledore saw Moody's dejected expression and immediately understood the outcome. Knowing Moody's temper, he didn't try to persuade him and instead brought up another matter: "Karkaroff's body has been found. He's been dead for some time. It seems Voldemort and his men found him a long time ago. It was probably Karkaroff who put Harry's name in the Goblet of Fire."

"Killed after he was no longer of any use, that's exactly what Voldemort does." Weiss was disdainful of Voldemort's behavior of crossing the river and demolishing the bridge.

"Barty Crouch was also killed. It was his son who did it." Dumbledore paused, as if to collect his thoughts. "The mother died in Azkaban for her son, and the son killed his father with his own hands..."

Even the knowledgeable Dumbledore didn't know how to evaluate this family. In short, it was very sad.

"The Ministry of Magic will have a lot of work to do now," Weiss said gloatingly.

The Ministry of Magic is still puzzled by the events of the Triwizard Tournament, which was originally held to save face and to demonstrate unity and peace in the wizarding world.

They made sufficient preparations to ensure the safety of the contestants, but they didn't expect that the one who got into trouble was not a contestant, but a senior official of the Ministry of Magic and the headmaster of Durmstrang School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Karkaroff.

Karkaroff's death was particularly troublesome because it involved an international dispute. Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge was probably under tremendous pressure at the time. He needed to find a reasonable explanation as soon as possible to calm the public's panic and dissatisfaction.

"The most important thing now is to deal with the Horcruxes," Dumbledore's mouth sank. "I didn't expect Tom to be so crazy as to create so many Horcruxes."

"Hmph!" Moody snorted coldly, "There's nothing a man like him can't do."

"The Gaunt family ring, the Ravenclaw diadem, the Hufflepuff cup, and the Slytherin locket," Dumbledore sighed. "They are all precious treasures. Choosing them as Horcruxes certainly suits Tom's proud personality."

The next task is to destroy these Horcruxes and completely shatter Voldemort's hope of resurrection.

"I'll leave the task of destroying the Horcrux to you. I'll put this rat in Azkaban first." Moody left the headmaster's office carrying the cage containing Peter Pettigrew. Only Weiss and Dumbledore were left in the office.

Dumbledore looked at Weiss with a smile on his face: "I didn't expect to be able to get rid of Tom so quickly. With your help, it's much easier for me."

"That's our deal, isn't it?" Wes responded nonchalantly.

"You're too modest, Weiss," Dumbledore said, adjusting his glasses. "Without you, I couldn't have kept Tom here. If he had gotten away, the wizarding world would have been in chaos." Dumbledore fumbled in his desk drawer. "Although I'm the headmaster of Hogwarts, I have nothing else to offer you as compensation. I can only give you this."

Dumbledore pulled out a thick notebook and handed it to Weiss. "What is this?"

"These are some of my experiences on the path of magic."

Wes began to flip through the notebook, which recorded a lot of magic, not just white magic, but also a lot of black magic that even Wes had never seen before.

Dumbledore fell into recollection: "Back then, I traveled the world with a friend. Under his influence, I became obsessed with the Dark Arts for a while and did many things that I was ashamed of."

Weiss knew that the friend Dumbledore was talking about was Gellert Grindelwald, Dumbledore's lover in his youth. This past was a little-known secret in the wizarding world, but Weiss had seen the movie.

"Your talent is astonishing," Dumbledore said, looking at Weiss seriously. "If you..."

Weiss knew what Dumbledore was worried about, so he interrupted the headmaster and said, "I have no interest in ruling the wizarding world or changing the world. Besides, I am alone and have no followers."

Dumbledore nodded, knowing that Weiss had no ambition for power.

"I know you are obsessed with magic, but I hope you can always stay on the right path and not be attracted by darkness."

Weiss just smiled and nodded in response.

What Dumbledore didn't know was that for Weiss, this world was just a starting point, a place where he could gain a preliminary understanding of magic.

Countless worlds and magics in the universe are waiting for him to explore.

It was indeed a pleasant surprise to get Dumbledore's magical experience.

During the years he taught at Hogwarts, he never stopped exploring magic and gained a lot of valuable knowledge about magic from other worlds.

At this moment, his brain was working rapidly. Now Weiss had a variety of powerful knowledge and resources in his hands. The Philosopher's Stone in his hand could not only make the elixir of immortality, but also convert ordinary metals into gold.

Even the profound knowledge of alchemy can be used skillfully by Weiss, and he no longer needs to go to another world to trade in exchange for rewards.

The voodoo magic extracted from Blackbeard's memory provided him with a variety of magical means.

Apart from the "Golden Book of the Sun", "Black Book of the Dead" and "Dumbledore's Magical Secrets" which he had just obtained and had not yet mastered, his magic limit had already made a qualitative leap, and he was one step closer to his original dream.

When he has digested and absorbed all the remaining knowledge, it will be time for him to take the next step.

Weiss said goodbye to Dumbledore and returned to his office. He was a man of action and had already started working on a new study plan the moment he got back.

Cornelius Fudge, the British Minister of Magic, looked at Moody and Peter Pettigrew, who had returned to human form and was escorted by him, with a headache.

"Moody, you are no longer an Auror. It is not your job to arrest criminals." Fudge tried to calm the situation with an official tone.

"If you hadn't let him get away, you wouldn't see me here pointing fingers!"

Moody responded bluntly, not moderating his temper just because the other party was the Minister of Magic.

Fudge knew Moody's temper and was unwilling to argue with this "Mad-Eye".

Although Moody was no longer an Auror, he was still an experienced combat wizard and had a very high reputation in the wizarding world. Arguing with him at this time would only make things more complicated.
