The Lord of the Laws of Heaven

Chapter 219: Holy and Mortal Book 1

Chapter 219: The Holy and the Mortal are One
Xiao Jun immediately let go of his hand.

But the bowstring of the ox-tendon bow was released directly, and a feather arrow shot out.

In the center of the target made of straw, an arrow with feathers was hit right at the bull's eye, and it was still vibrating.

Exhaling long, Xiao Jun felt the changes in the muscles throughout his body while drawing the bow and shooting the arrow. In the process of constantly drawing the bow, he combined his understanding of medicine, his mind raced, and a large amount of knowledge and data was sorted out by Xiao Jun.

Adjust the posture of the muscles throughout your body and use the cow tendon bow to build strength. The muscles all over your body are like bowstrings, and under precise manipulation, they become a complex power system.

The strength of the whole body is honed and exercised, so as to carry out efficient strength training.

Although my body aches every day, the warmth that flows through my body nourishes the muscles throughout my body and my strength increases day by day.

Although the tendon bow could not be stretched into a full moon directly, the strength of the muscles gradually withstood the training and became stronger.

While drawing the bow and shooting the arrows, one not only senses sincerity, concentration, focus, and tranquility of mind, but also senses many mysteries and principles within the physical body.

The subtle and flawless consciousness introspects into one's own physical body and grasps the various subtle mysteries of the physical body.

He watched himself draw the bow and shoot an arrow that hit the bull's eye, then pulled out two more arrows from the quiver, and used his strength to shoot the arrows one after another, each of which hit the bull's eye.

Only then did he slowly put down his bow and arrow. His archery and aiming were no longer a problem. Of course, the main factor was the change in his own physical strength.

As one draws the bow and shoots arrows again and again, one's own qi and blood are being mobilized, and the inner strength of the muscles is slowly becoming stronger.

Xiao Jun's mind gradually came to the star map of the heavens. The internal data nebula contained countless data. He uploaded his own mental chaos algorithm and the data of his spiritual perception into it, allowing Xiao Jun to easily analyze this wonderful state of mind.

"Exercise like this strengthens the body, and only when the body is strong enough can one's thinking ability become more vigorous."

Now Xiao Jun not only draws the bow, but also uses the rewards he gets from painting in Fangxiandao to purchase some ingredients, and even cooks them himself. With a flash of inspiration in his mind, he senses the changes in the Qi in various foods and controls them delicately.

I never tire of fine food and I never tire of delicate cooking.

Although I haven't learned all the skills of cooking, I am constantly learning from them, and my wisdom is endless. I can analyze countless principles like a sharp sword, and it is easy for me to adjust the taste of various foods to just the right level.

That perfect balance was reflected in the effect it had on the body. Xiao Jun's keen sense of perception allowed him to easily incorporate the principles of harmony into the ingredients.

Although they were simple ingredients, after integrating them with the medical books that Xiao Jun had read, a lot of pharmacological wisdom emerged in his mind. The essence within those simple ingredients was efficiently and completely absorbed by Xiao Jun and became his own nourishment. There were very few impurities, almost the same as tonics.

The essence of common herbs and foods is actually similar, differing only in nature. When people eat, they are essentially consuming the vital energy within. This method of stewing food can efficiently absorb the vital energy within.

It was with the help of strength training and food stew that Xiao Jun could feel that his qi and blood were becoming more full and comfortable.

The enhanced Qi and blood also led to a strengthening of Xiao Jun's thinking ability, and his thoughts seemed to have power. It is often said that only a strong body can lead to a strong mind. This is a universal truth.

……

In the following time, I continued to read and practice, and sometimes I would let the truth serve as my nourishment, silently circulate my soul into a deep state of meditation and forgetfulness, and comprehend the infinite spirit.

Soon, the New Year will be here.

Xiao Jun bought some red paper and made some paste. He then wrote the couplets on the red paper and then used the paste to stick them on the door.

Ordinary families spend the New Year in such a simple way.

Time finally arrived at the 59th year of the Daqian era. This year was destined to bring about many changes, and the chapter of the era was rolling forward.

Xiao Jun distilled many of the classics of Fang Xiandao's doctrines, and realized that the true nature of sitting and forgetting is itself mixed with the true yang in the physical body. To realize the true nature is to understand the Yuanyang.

It is this single point of primordial Yang that allows a person to manifest a mystical and infinite wisdom and body. The endless thoughts, ideas, and wills of the mind, as well as the myriad auras within the body, all emanate from this single point of primordial Yang, like the creation of heaven and earth.

The teachings of various philosophers originally focused on principles and self-cultivation, but the teachings of Fang Xiandao have begun to focus on some changes in the physical body.

After absorbing the classic principles of Fang Xiandao, "The Master of Health Preservation" allowed Xiao Jun to understand the yin and yang of the soul and body. Countless wisdom lights complemented the Master of Health Preservation, and he could freely change between the unity of soul and flesh and the separation of soul and flesh at any time.

A month had passed since the New Year. Xiao Jun was already able to fully stretch a 120-jin (approximately 120-pound) tendon bow, and he could sense the changes in his qi and blood, as well as his muscles and body. His overall strength had increased to a significant level.

The muscles throughout his body have begun to become strong enough, and his qi and blood are abundant, which makes Xiao Jun's righteous spirit more condensed and stronger.

That day and night, Xiao Jun began to study as usual.

With an oil lamp lit beside him, he read and practiced "The Master of Health Preservation" at the same time, trying to capture the changes in his own consciousness and true nature.

All thoughts are decomposed and broken down into the most basic principles and causes and conditions. One's own thoughts are refined into one's own wisdom, and one can realize the true nature.

In Buddhism, the destination of all people's thoughts is summarized as "greed, anger, and ignorance."

But greed can be transformed into kindness, hatred into courage, ignorance into righteousness, and delusion into wisdom.

All mortals have greed, hatred, ignorance and delusion, but with just a moment of enlightenment, those thoughts can be transformed into kindness, courage, integrity and wisdom.

If you don’t understand a single thought, you are an ordinary person.

When a thought is enlightened, then the thought is no longer that of an ordinary person, but that of a holy emperor, a saint, a Buddha, a celestial being...

In other words, everyone can become a saint. They just need to understand their own nature and be clear and aware of their own thoughts, and they will naturally be able to achieve the realm of sainthood.

Xiao Jun's thoughts were turning, and such truths emerged in his mind all the time.

"The sacred and the mundane are one, yet the sacred and the mundane are mixed together..."

'Every thought is a thought of a saint. You can achieve this by simply understanding the truth.'

'Every thought is a merit! All sentient beings possess the immeasurable merits of the Tathagata, but due to delusion and attachment, they are unable to realize them.'

While reading and polishing my knowledge, I suddenly understood this truth. It seemed like it happened naturally, as it should have been, and it came naturally from the boundless ocean of true nature.

Xiao Jun understood this principle, and all kinds of energy surged in his body. A warm current flowed through his chest, and a strong sense of righteousness rapidly boiled over, and the condensed essence rose towards the sky.

Putting the book down, Xiao Jun began to ponder on his own, preparing to enter a state of meditation and to comprehend this truth with his whole body and soul.

At this moment, Xiao Jun's portal was opened directly, and a figure suddenly appeared.
