Matsuda Jinpei struck first, clenching his small fists tightly and striking a standard boxer's stance as he swung at Furuya Rei's shoulder.

Furuya Rei was not to be outdone. He reacted quickly, dodging to the side and raising his arm to counterattack Matsuda Jinpei's arm using a Sanda move taught to him by Hayashi Shuichi.

Lin Xiuyi was startled by the sudden actions of the two kids and instinctively wanted to step forward to stop them, fearing that they might accidentally hurt each other.

But as soon as he took a step, he was stopped by Matsuda Jotaro, who came from behind.

“Mr. Matsuda, these two children…” Lin Xiuyi looked at Matsuda Jotaro with some helplessness, hoping that he could help stop the two brats from fighting.

Matsuda Jotaro laughed heartily, patted Hayashi Hideichi on the shoulder, and said in a cheerful tone,

"It's alright, Lin Sang, don't worry. Boys will be boys, it's normal for them to roughhouse and fight. It can help them develop their willpower and strengthen their bodies. It's better than staying at home watching TV all day."

What kind of twisted logic is this... Lin Xiuyi was both amused and exasperated.

However, he then realized that although the two kids seemed to be fighting fiercely, they were actually just sparring and not really going all out.

Every move and every stance leaves room for maneuver; it's more about sparring and playing around.

Matsuda Jinpei, being the son of a boxer, has been practicing boxing with his father since childhood. Although his moves are simple, they are exceptionally powerful, and every punch he throws is skillful and well-executed.

Rei Furuya, having learned Sanda from Shuichi Hayashi, is agile and quick-witted, always able to skillfully dodge Jinpei Matsuda's attacks while launching counterattacks from time to time.

The two kids were fighting fiercely on the open ground by the roadside, and passersby would occasionally glance at them out of curiosity.

Some people couldn't help but laugh, thinking that the two little ones were just too cute.

Hayashi Hideichi and Matsuda Jotaro stood aside, watching with great interest, occasionally offering a few comments.

"Jinpei's boxing skills are quite good. He's so young, but he has a lot of strength." Lin Xiuyi couldn't help but praise Matsuda Jinpei as he watched his movements.

Matsuda Jotaro laughed heartily, a hint of pride on his face: "This kid has loved boxing since he was a child, and he pesters me to teach him every day. He's even more obsessed with it than I was when I was a kid."

"But Zero is also very impressive. He was able to fight Jinpei for so long. Among the children of the same age in the neighborhood, Jinpei is already unmatched."

Lin Xiu smiled but didn't say anything, her gaze still fixed on the two kids.

Furuya Rei dodged Matsuda Jinpei's punch by sidestepping, then grabbed his arm and pulled him gently.

Matsuda Jinpei lost his balance, staggered, and almost fell.

After regaining his balance, he snorted defiantly and charged at Furuya Rei again, swinging his fist.

After making a ruckus for about ten minutes, the two little devils were both panting heavily.

Even so, they refused to admit defeat and persevered through gritted teeth.

"Alright, stop hitting, you must be tired."

Matsuda Jotaro smiled, stepped forward, and separated the two boys who were playing around.

"Consider this a draw. There will be plenty of opportunities to compete in the future. Don't exhaust yourself here."

"Hmph, you got lucky this time. Next time we meet, I'll definitely knock you out with one punch!"

Matsuda Jinpei broke free from his father's hand, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and waved his fist at Furuya Rei, his tone full of resentment.

"Hmph, it's not just luck! Next time we meet, I'll be the one beating you up!"

Furuya Rei wasn't about to back down either, glaring at Matsuda Jinpei without admitting defeat. After exchanging harsh words, the two kids looked at each other and suddenly chuckled. Their previous hostility vanished instantly, as if their fierce fight had just been a normal game.

Matsuda Jinpei walked up to Furuya Rei and said with a hint of complaint, "I called you several days in advance to invite you over, but you kept refusing. I thought you weren't coming."

"My master just returned from Osaka yesterday, so I went to see him right away,"

Rei Furuya offered an explanation, then looked around curiously.
"By the way, where's the second-year graduate student? Why didn't he come to pick us up?"

Matsuda Jinpei scratched his head: "He went to the bank with Senso-nee. We should go find them now and have lunch together."

On the way to the bank, Lin Xiuyi learned about Matsuda Jotaro's recent situation from him.

After achieving victory in the professional boxing ring and fulfilling his long-held dream, the boxer made the decision to retire.

He has now stayed in Kanagawa and transitioned into a boxing coach.

"There are actually quite a few people here who are interested in boxing,"

Matsuda Jotaro spoke as he walked, his tone filled with satisfaction.

"Teenagers, office workers, and even some housewives come to learn a few self-defense moves. The income may not be as high as the prize money from professional matches, but it is stable."

He paused, his gaze softening as he looked at his son, who was walking alongside Rei Furuya.
"With the savings we accumulated from winning previous competitions, it's enough for my son and me to live a stable life."

Lin Xiu nodded in understanding.

A professional athlete's career is often short, and it is already rare to be able to retire at the peak of their career and find a smooth transition.

After walking for about five or six minutes, Matsuda Jotaro pointed to a building not far ahead.
"The bank is just ahead. Qiansu and the second-year graduate student should be inside."

Lin Xiuyi looked in the direction he pointed and saw a white building standing by the roadside with a sign that read "Kanagawa Bank" hanging at the entrance, and a constant stream of pedestrians coming and going.

Upon seeing the bank, Matsuda Jinpei excitedly grabbed Furuya Rei's hand and ran towards it.

"Let's go, let's go find the second-year graduate student and Sister Qiansu!"

The two little ones ran very fast and soon rushed to the bank entrance, eager to go inside.

Lin Xiuyi and Matsuda Jotaro quickened their pace and followed.

Upon entering the bank lobby, many people were queuing to conduct their business.

Matsuda Jinpei, holding Furuya Rei's hand, looked around the hall and soon spotted the Ogiwara siblings on a chair not far away. He immediately shouted excitedly and ran over with Furuya Rei.

Lin Xiuyi and Matsuda Jotaro also walked in that direction.

Hagiwara Chisato was sitting in a chair, holding a document in her hand, looking at it intently.

Kenji Hagiwara sat next to her, holding a toy car and fiddling with it idly.

Seeing Matsuda Jinpei and Furuya Rei running towards them, Hagiwara Kenji excitedly stood up and went to greet them.
Zero! You've finally arrived!

In contrast, Hagiwara Chisato's reaction was much more complex.

Unlike her dashing demeanor during their last meeting, this time, the girl merely forced a polite smile at Lin Xiuyi… (End of Chapter)
