Chapter 20 Death of Public Opinion
11:39 am, No. , Nonhyeondong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Goo Hara's home

Bae Yong-jun followed Choi Sulli into the room.

The living room on the first floor was in a mess. The air purifier on the wall was overturned on the ground, the TV screen was full of cracks, and the things on the coffee table were scattered and rolled all over the floor.

"Sorry, editor-in-chief, I haven't had time to clean it up." Choi Sulli's eyes darkened as she looked at the scene in front of her.

"It's okay, I understand." Pei Yongjun nodded.

Choi Jong-Bum made a mess of the place in the middle of the night that day, and after the incident, she was the only one who came back twice to get some of Goo Hara's important things, so naturally she didn't bother to clean up.

After the morning interview, Bae Yong-jun asked Choi Sulli to meet Choi Jong-bum at 12 noon and agreed to give him the money. This was a place Choi Jong-bum was familiar with and private, so he wouldn't be too cautious.

"Wait for me to set up the camera." Pei Yongjun said, then put the bag he was carrying on the ground and walked around, looking around as he walked.

After walking around, he returned to his original place and unzipped his bag, revealing all sorts of daily necessities inside.

While comparing the furnishings in the living room, he rummaged through it and took out a few things.

Air conditioner remote control, aromatherapy bottle, tissue box, and a small white box.

He picked up the small box, walked to the entrance of the living room, moved a chair, removed the air outlet grille of the central air conditioner, and placed the small box inside.

Then, the aromatherapy bottle was placed on the shelf on the side of the TV wall, and the air conditioner remote control was placed on the sideboard on the wall on the other side of the sofa.

Finally, Pei Yongjun picked up the tissue box, walked to the coffee table, and slowly looked for a suitable place among the things scattered on the floor.

The delicate flower vase was broken into pieces, with a few withered flowers scattered around. The cute puppy was made of building blocks and was tragically crushed into pieces.

Bae Yong-jun glanced around, using Goo Hara's recent memories to imagine everything that happened that day. It was in the middle of the night that Choi Jong-bum beat Goo Hara while she was sleeping, leaving her covered in bruises, and then walked away.

"This is the puppy I gave to unnie. Its name is Yumi," Choi Sulli squatted down beside him and murmured to herself, "Unnie said she likes it very much."

"The tail can move, it's very cute."

She stretched out her white and tender fingers and lovingly touched the puppy's tail, which was broken into three pieces. "Ah, Yuumi, you've worked hard to protect unnie."

Pei Yongjun listened quietly.

After several steps, he adjusted the equipment in his hand, turned the tissue box sideways, opened half of the box, and pointed the side edge at the center of the living room, placing it right next to Yumi, harmoniously hidden in the chaos on the floor, without any abnormality.

"Just pretend Yumi is watching." He said lightly and stood up.

Cui Xueli pursed her lips slightly, raised the corners of her mouth, nodded, and stood up.

"Do you want to buy another one for her?" Pei Yongjun asked.
"No." Choi Sulli shook her head, "I want to give something else to unnie."

"What's the gift?"

"I haven't thought about it yet." She shook her head, took a deep breath, looked at Pei Yongjun, and her expression became excited.

"As long as Choi Jong-Bum is dealt with, unnie will live a better life than anyone else. I want to give unnie a better life."

"Is this a miniature camera?" Although Cui Xueli had heard of it, this was the first time she had actually seen such a thing. "Can it take clear pictures? Do you want it..."

buzz~
The cell phone suddenly vibrated.

"Phone, Editor-in-Chief, let me answer it first." Choi Sulli and Bae Yongjun looked at each other, quickly picked up the phone on the sofa, and their expressions suddenly changed.

"Is it him?" Pei Yongjun asked.

Choi Sulli nodded.

"catch."

"Where are you? Why haven't you come yet?" Cui Xueli asked coldly on the phone.

"Mo?" Choi Jong-Bum's voice froze for a moment, then turned arrogant. "Can't wait for me to come?"

"Stop talking nonsense, just come if you want to!" "Okay! I'm at the intersection. When we meet, you'd better still be so tough!" Choi Jong-Bum snorted coldly and hung up the phone.

Choi Sulli looked at Bae Yongjun.

"Just refuse him and ask him to call the police. I'm upstairs, call me anytime if there's any danger."

"I'm not afraid!" Choi Sulli shook her head.

"It's not about whether you're afraid or not. Don't be impulsive. It doesn't matter what he says. I will find a way. Do you understand?" Pei Yongjun reminded her again.

Choi Sulli paused and nodded.

Pei Yongjun looked at her deeply, picked up his bag, and walked up the stairs to the second floor.

Choi Sulli walked to the sofa and sat down, looking at the tissue box on the ground. She seemed to see Pei Yongjun's calm eyes and recalled what he said in her mind.

[For someone like Choi Jong-Bum, even jail time isn't enough.]

He can still speak, he can still make statements, and he can still hurt you with rumors.

Therefore, we must make him speechless, make sure no one believes his words anymore, and throw him into prison amidst the curses and insults, so that he can no longer harm you.

【Sulli, this is what we have to do.】

【Let him be ruined and get back at me. 】

"An eye for an eye..." Choi Sulli muttered to herself.

Bang bang~ bang bang~
There was a knock on the door.

------

Pei Yongjun went to the bedroom on the second floor, locked the door, took out a laptop from his bag, debugged it, and four pictures of the living room appeared on the screen.

Four cameras, shooting from four directions, can clearly see every corner of the living room.

He put on a Bluetooth headset and waited quietly.

Soon, there was a knock on the door.

Choi Sulli looked towards the tissue box, took a few deep breaths, her eyes determined, then stood up and walked towards the door.

With a click, the door opened and Choi Jong-Bum stood at the door.

His face was still red and swollen from Pei Yongjun's punch last night, his eyes were bloodshot, and his face looked hideous.

"Hey, Choi Sulli, weren't you very tough? Didn't you just give in in the end?"

Choi Jong-Bum sneered.

Choi Sulli remained silent.

He walked past Cui Xueli, who was silent and with her head bowed, and came to the living room, where he stopped.

"Oh, look here, look here..." Choi Jong-Bum glanced at the mess in the room, as if recalling something.

"Meet me here?" He turned to look at Choi Sulli, "Do you want me to reminisce about our past?"

"...Choi Jong-Bum, don't you regret it?" Choi Sulli walked up behind him, looking at the living room. She remembered the smile on Goo Hara's face and felt heartbroken. She couldn't help but ask, "You beat up Unnie like that, don't you have any regrets at all?"

"Well," Choi Jong-Bum nodded readily, "I regret it."

"I regret not asking for more money at that time."

"What did you say?" Choi Sulli couldn't believe her ears.
