The Uncrowned King of the Peninsula

Chapter 97 I won’t show you

Chapter 97 I won’t show you
Pei Yongjun pushed open the door of the office area and walked in.

"I'm right there." Pei Yongjun looked at Cui Xueli behind him and pointed to the office at the end. The light was still on inside. "You go and have a rest. I'll take you to the lounge."

"No need, editor-in-chief, I'm not sleepy anymore." Choi Sulli shook her head quickly. She would not go to sleep.

This is my first time here at the place where editor-in-chief nim works, so I must take a good look at it.

Newspaper agency!

It’s still Hanjiang Sports!

As an artist, she should stay as far away from places where entertainment reporters gather as possible. Choi Sulli never thought that she would end up in such a place one day.

She opened her eyes wide and looked around curiously, trying to find the mystery of this place.

There are two rows of natural wood desks, four on each side. The outermost desk has a printer and fax machine on it. There is a small pot of green plants on the small cabinet on the side of each desk. It looks like an ordinary office.

"There's nothing to see." Pei Yongjun looked at the curiosity that she couldn't help but reveal, smiled gently, and led her to the office, pointing at the tables around her as he walked.

"This is Sungsu, this is Eunkwang. You've seen both of them before. They've always been in our group."

"This is Zhicheng, an intern reporter. He has been here for a few months, but you haven't seen him. This is..." He paused when he reached the door, looked at the position where Kwon Eun-bi was at the door, and remembered the topic that he accidentally touched upon when he was talking to Choi Sulli on the phone.

[Is she a girl? Is she pretty?]

Somehow, the image of the small and beautiful teardrop mole at the corner of Kwon Eunbi's eye suddenly flashed through Pei Yongjun's mind.

He flicked his finger and quickly mentioned her details, "Intern."

"Oh." Choi Sulli looked around excitedly and responded casually, seemingly not noticing what he said.

"Wait for me here. The manuscript needs some further revisions." After entering the office, Pei Yongjun sat back at his desk, pressed the power button, and continued to revise the manuscript.

"Oh, okay." Choi Sulli nodded and began to walk around, looking at the furnishings in the office, feeling very novel.

Her footsteps were light and the room became quiet for a moment.

Pei Yongjun cleared his mind of distractions and gradually concentrated, his cursor jumping and flying among the black words as he immersed himself in the manuscript that was about to be completed.

Choi Sulli walked to the cabinet and looked at the things inside.

Pei Yongjun's office was different from the offices she had seen in SM. There were not so many records, posters, CDs and photos. Instead, there were books, materials, and file boxes, piled up neatly in the cabinets, making it look tidy and full.

She looked at the book cover and the words on the white paper, not quite understanding what she was looking at. Her eyes slowly moved across and suddenly she saw a photo.

In the photo, Bae Yong-jun is smiling slightly, wearing a suit, standing downstairs of Hanjiang Sports Center with several people standing beside him.

One of them was Liu Chengzhu, whom she knew, but she didn't know the others.

Who are these?
She turned around and was about to ask, but she saw Pei Yongjun's back.

His posture was straight and motionless, and under the fluorescent light of the computer screen, his outline was broad and powerful, as if cast in iron.

She leaned against the cabinet, looking at his back, the subtle and regular clicking of the keyboard was in her ears, and a feeling of security gradually rose in her heart.

Cui Xueli forgot what she wanted to ask for a moment and just looked at him, her eyes full of tenderness.

----

Pei Yongjun typed the last period and reached out to take the coffee next to him, but suddenly he felt a delicate and slightly cool touch on his fingertips.

Turning my gaze, I saw a white and tender hand protecting a coffee cup. "I poured you some hot coffee."

Pei Yongjun raised his head and his eyes froze slightly.

Choi Sulli was standing in front of the table, looking pretty.

The sweetheart-neck sweater revealed her delicate collarbone at the neckline, and her snow-white skin looked like crystal clear jade next to the beige desk lamp.

She looked at him with big eyes, her long eyelashes fluttering, and there was an indescribable shimmer in her eyes. "Want a new one?" She smiled at him and handed him a new cup of coffee.

"Thank you, Sulli." Pei Yongjun couldn't help but look at her twice more.

Choi Sulli didn't leave either. She just stood in front of the table with her hands on her lower abdomen, as if letting him watch her.

"Does it look good?" She swayed her body slightly from side to side, and the ends of her black hair brushed against her snow-white neck.

"Very beautiful." Pei Yongjun simply looked at her directly, his eyes fixed on her. "Very beautiful."

"Editor-in-Chief, nim..." With an aggressive gaze roaming over her body, Choi Sulli couldn't bear it anymore. She bit her lower lip with her white and slightly pointed canine teeth, "I won't show you anymore."

"I'll get you a glass of water."

She glanced at him shyly, said something a little ambiguous, and quickly turned and walked out.

Call ~
Choi Sulli walked out of the office and glanced sideways behind her. Bae Yongjun was already looking at the screen again and typing on the keyboard.

Choi Sulli breathed a sigh of relief, but somehow felt a little disappointed.

If I don’t allow you to watch it, will you really not watch it?
Isn’t it said to be beautiful?
She raised her hand, placed her fingertips on her collarbone and slid them slowly, feeling the smoothness of her skin. She thought of Pei Yongjun's seemingly real eyes just now, and her heart trembled slightly.

"It's almost there, about half an hour." Pei Yongjun's voice came from the house.

"Oh, okay." Choi Sulli let go of her hands as if she had been electrocuted, raised them up, and fanned her slightly hot cheeks.

She walked to the tea room, poured herself a glass of water, and came back without entering Pei Yongjun's office. Instead, she wandered around the office area outside.

Reporter Liu's desk is such a mess.

She looked at Liu Chengzhu's desk where papers and pens were messily piled together, and thought of Pei Yongjun's neatly tidy cabinet, and felt inexplicably happy.

As she turned around, she returned to the door of Pei Yongjun's office and looked at the table at the door.

intern?
Choi Sulli suddenly remembered what Pei Yongjun said on the phone that day.

[He's a nice, well-behaved person]

is her?

Choi Sulli secretly glanced at Bae Yongjun in the office and moved closer to the table.

Is that normal? I'll just take a look.

The decoration on the table was simple, with nothing on it. Even the mouse pad was the uniform blue-black color. Apart from the colorful clips on the notebook, there was no trace of a girl.

She secretly twitched her nose, but there was no strong smell of perfume.

Pretty good?

The image of a top student wearing thick glasses and studying hard and seriously emerged in Choi Sulli's mind.

That should be it, right?
She felt very relieved.

"Editor-in-Chief, can you sit down for a moment?"

"Well, sit down."

Choi Sulli sat on Kwon Eunbi's chair, leaned on the table, drank water in small sips, opened her mobile phone and started looking at it.

Otherwise, let’s take a look at the editor-in-chief nim?

She searched for "Live Report".
