Chapter 103 The Soulless One

Dulles looked at the man who walked out of the laboratory with some fear.

He came from a hive city on a fringe world called Lund, which was located on the eastern border of the Five Hundred Worlds.

It was an ordinary hive world, a huge hive left over from the distant past, with a population of tens of billions, and Dulles came from the bottom of the hive.

In the bottom of the hive city filled with all kinds of abandoned garbage from the upper and middle nests, highly toxic chemicals and deadly radiation, all kinds of terrible cults, gangs and mutant monsters are bred.

Then, Dulles and his Untouchable brothers and sisters were taken to a Mechanicus exploration ship hovering in orbit, a huge starship they had never seen before.

A huge blue-white plasma tail stream cut through the dark space. Complex and mysterious mechanical creations were scattered all over the surface of the Ark. Pink arcs and dots of light flickered regularly on the surface of the starship.

To these country bumpkins from the Bottom Nest, this was far more startling than their stranger dreams and their most terrible legends.

Dulles didn't know what these weirdos who came from the starry sky were going to do, but life on the starship was indeed good. Apart from restricting their freedom, the oil men provided them with abundant material conditions.

They provided pure water without the stench of chemical pollution, delicious meat, and even gave precious medicine to cure the radiation sickness of the youngest boy among them. Dulles saw all of this and understood that there is no kindness in the world without reason.

But at least now, he was sure they were valuable.

Don't be afraid of others coveting your value, just be afraid that you have no value at all.

When he saw the man coming out of the laboratory under the guidance of the technical priest, he immediately realized that this man was the biggest manager here, because all the attention of those oil men was focused on the seemingly ordinary man.

As Dulles observed Roche in his sterile suit, he was also sizing up the Untouchable.

Luo Xi was very interested in the godfather of the Untouchable gang, and his experience and education made communication easy.
