Warhammer: Don't Call Me the God of All Machines

Chapter 37 Humph, want to escape?

Chapter 37 Humph, want to escape?
In the void, the Word Bearers' battleship False Emperor was turning on a battlefield full of wreckage and artillery fire, its engines beginning to accelerate, heading straight for Mandeville Point outside the system.

The situation was hopeless, and the Word Bearers had to admit that their strategic attempt to completely defeat the Ultramarines had failed.

Half of the Ultramarines' fleet has been restored to power and the weapons array has been recaptured.

The captain of the Macragge's Glory sensed the other side's attempt to escape, the Primarch and his men were returning via other warships in orbit, and he had to do something.

"Engine start full force!"

The huge hull of the Macragge's Glory began to accelerate, and it bit the trace of the False Emperor tightly, vowing to blow the enemy ship into pieces.

The false emperor must not be allowed to escape, he must pay for the blood debt of Causs with his life.

But the False Emperor escaped faster than the Glory of Macragge. Its hull engine had been remodeled and was even blessed with some evil witchcraft.

The currents of the ether are leaning towards the False Emperor, and the warp is calling for its arrival.

Kor Phaeron was dragged into the operating room by the Word Bearers warriors. His physical condition was extremely bad. One of his hearts was completely ruptured and Guilliman's lightning claws tore the heart to pieces.

The decomposition force field caused hundreds of bones and internal organs to break all over his body. It was a miracle that he was still alive.

Luojia's adoptive father was covered in a rag bag, with blood and flesh oozing out of his body, and the foul-smelling black fluids soaked the operating table.

The backlash of psychic energy left Kor Phaeron speechless. The teleportation at that critical moment was not priceless. He had reached a dangerous contract with the existence in the subspace, so he could mobilize psychic energy to leave the orbital platform.

When doing business with the subspace, the subspace will never be the one that suffers a loss.

The pharmacist began to think of ways to heal his body. There were clones available for transplantation in the blasphemous laboratory on the Pseudo-Emperor. He used a drill and a sharp blade to cut open the clone floating in the nutrient solution, dismembered him and took out his organs.

Kor Phaeron was in such a bad state that the pharmacist thought that a different body would be more likely to save him.

"No, just replacing organs and limbs is not enough, let's hold the ceremony!" the pharmacist screamed madly.

The first salvo from Macragge's Glory hit the False Emperor. The light was blocked by the Void Shield, but its speed was also greatly reduced, and there was a possibility of it being boarded.

"Quick, finish the ritual quickly! We must return to the High Heavens immediately. Why are these damn Ultramarines unwilling to just die!"

"We have made so many deals with the Supreme Heaven and paid a heavy price, but they are still chasing after us alive and kicking."

A Word Bearer roared indignantly that they had paid so much but still only severely damaged the Ultramarines instead of destroying them.

The Chaos cultists on the ship chanted in low voices, and the prisoners of war and civilians who remained on the ship were killed painfully by ritual blades. They were dissected open, and their internal organs and bones were taken out while they were still alive, becoming ritual sacrifices.

Blood and pain are offered to the will of the Empyrean, and the gate to the Warp is opening.

"Oh no, they're trying to escape!"

The Ultramarines were furious. They would never allow the false Emperor to escape from them.

Hurry up! Hurry up! Machine Spirit, we pray that you will hurry up!

To this end, they even planned to send another group of Ultramarines to launch a boarding expedition, regardless of the huge danger.

That would be a suicidal attack. Regardless of whether the boarding trip was successful or not, the team sent out would almost certainly die.

But there was no time to think more now. The captain made the decision and ordered the troops left behind on the ship to prepare for boarding torpedoes. They would be launched and catch up with the Pseudo-Emperor under the acceleration of the thrusters.

Just as the False Emperor was about to jump into the subspace, a starship that appeared from nowhere suddenly removed its disguise.

The tail engine ejected a long blue wake, leaving a shining trail in the dark space. It hit the hull of the Pseudo-Emperor from the flank at an angle of nearly 45 degrees.

Warship collisions are always the most brutal form of combat. Every movement of these massive metal structures, their mass sufficient to generate a miniature gravity field, unleashed an unimaginable burst of energy. The mere kilometer-long starship stabbed into the False Emperor's ribs like a dagger, its sharp fragmentation field easily shredding its outer armor before, without a sign of slowing, severing the keel in the center.

The various sealed cabins and hull frames were completely shattered by the devastating blow here, and the cultists and space marines inside were either torn apart by the shock waves or sucked away into the vacuum of the universe.

The flames exploded instantly, the engine completely failed under the shock wave, and the Pseudo-Emperor was almost smashed in half. The exploding metal fragments and the flame shock wave killed almost everything on the ship. With the failure of the subspace engine, they no longer had any possibility of escaping into the subspace.

"Where the hell is this ship from?! Can someone tell me?! Can someone tell me?"

The captain witnessed the destruction of the Pseudo-Emperor through the bird servant, which was an indisputable fact. For this reason, he urgently changed his plan to follow the Pseudo-Emperor to jump into the subspace and controlled the battleship to slow down immediately.

"I can't find the keel number of the other ship. That's not the Empire's ship!"

"Should we destroy the enemy?"

Officers are waiting for orders, and if they cannot find the number of a starship, they will be regarded as enemy targets on the battlefield.

"Negative, the other party helped us destroy the Pseudo-Emperor. Continue to observe."

"Don't alarm him, try to communicate with it."

The captain did not impulsively give the order to attack, not only because this suddenly appearing starship sank the Pseudo-Emperor, but more importantly, under the observation of the bird servant and the scanning array, the opponent did not show any signs of damage.

This is simply unbelievable.

The Machine Soul of Macragge's Glory was sounding an alarm, and the captain could clearly sense the Machine Soul's resistance, its unwillingness to attack this unknown starship.

"I didn't want to intervene, but it seemed like if I didn't do anything, this guy would really run away."

Luo Xi stood on the bridge of the Red Alert, leaning against the raised platform with his arms crossed.

"Although I am suspected of stealing the lives of others, the Extreme Warriors will not blame me." Luo Xi's mood improved. "You want to escape from me?"

"Sorry, this road is blocked."

The flames from the reactor explosion spread from the front of the screen, and the starship turned at an incredibly sharp angle. Its speed dropped to zero in an instant, and then surged to the mean, flying towards the orbit of Calth.

Luo Xi will not show mercy to these enemies who have committed numerous crimes.
Although they were once human, they are no longer worthy of being human after becoming puppets and slaves of the Warp.

"The transformation of this sun is irreversible. A supernova is about to occur, releasing lethal radiation that will make this galaxy and any nearby galaxies uninhabitable for human habitation."

"It is better to go and see Guilliman. The Battle of Calth is drawing to a close and I would like to pay a proper visit to the Emperor's own son."

Roche maneuvered the starship into the low-Earth orbit of Calth. Although he did not need orbital docking, it was a gesture that exposed himself to the eyes of the Extreme Marines and made them feel that everything was under control.

The war in space has ended. All the warships belonging to the Word Bearers, except for those that activated their warp engines and fled when they saw the situation was bad, have been destroyed by weapon arrays and space fleets.

The prosperous interstellar trade disappeared, the endless traveling traders fled, and all that was left in the Viridian system was debris and space junk scattered throughout the low-Earth orbit and the gravitational fields of several planets.

The flames of Calth still burn, and the planet has been reduced to a hell.

Luo Xi walked down from the hatch of the starship. He ordered the intelligent computer to be on standby and rejected all requests to board the ship except his own.

If the situation is not right, he can also teleport back to the ship immediately, then start the engine and run away.

Captain Ventanus has been waiting for a long time.

"Dear guest, Lord Roboute Guilliman invites you."
