A painful howl was heard on the continent of Tariel.

A silver metal chain spike slowly retracted, stained with dirty blood. As the chain shook gently, the blood flew away.

In front of the chain, there was a gigantic monster. It looked like a fusion of many different monsters, giving people a very incongruous feeling.

With a scream, the monster fell to the ground, its body still emitting electric discharges from time to time.

Many trees around have fallen down, and traces of lightning strikes can be seen on the tree trunks.

The characteristics of these trees are very strange. After being struck by lightning, only the bark appears black, but they are not ignited and charred like normal trees.

As Buglet retracted the chain, he discovered that what had just attacked was actually the tail of an alchemical dragon.

Buglet shook his body, trying to dispel the numbness.

"Although I appear to be made of metal, this is no ordinary metal," he muttered to himself, then spread his wings and leaped into the air.

The metal parts of the body mixed, shrank, and condensed, and soon turned into a cheetah again, landing lightly on the ground.

It passed over the monster's corpse and continued running forward.

Buglet continued to advance towards his goal, feeling he was almost there. The surrounding environment was becoming increasingly affected by the dragon's power. Not only were the monsters transformed, but even the trees and plants were becoming electrified.

Perhaps it was because the dragon power influenced and mixed with each other here, the monsters around were no longer as crazy and bloodthirsty as those in the outside world.

They began to behave like normal creatures, with fear, wisdom, and the ability to think.

The monsters began to have the concept of territory. As long as Buglet did not intrude into the territory of some powerful monsters, the dragon power emanating from him would make some weaker creatures afraid and dare not initiate a fight.

Bugret has been on this continent for a long time, and now he finally feels like he has returned to being a dragon.

The vegetation and trees ahead gradually thinned out, and a large number of rocks jutted out from the ground. A huge cave entrance appeared before their eyes. Without a doubt, the source of that powerful force lay within this cave.

Also coming from the cave was a vague sense of intimidation.

"Well, it seems there really is a big guy in there." Bugret said, taking a step and running quickly into the cave.

Entering the huge cave, Buglet instantly felt the free electricity swirling in the air.

Even in the pitch-black cave, you can occasionally see flashes of electricity in the air.

The mere collision of the lightning magic in the air caused such a phenomenon, which shows how abundant and pure the energy inside is.

"Luckily, Kana advanced, otherwise I wouldn't dare to come in."

After Kana's promotion, the alchemical metal on Bugret's body had already turned into the silver metal that Kana created and controlled.

This metal may seem ordinary, but it is essentially the power of Karna's creation. Otherwise, Bugret might have experienced internal problems upon entering, rendering him unable to move forward. Black lightning patterns could be seen on the walls of the cave entrance. These patterns seemed to have formed magical runes since ancient times.

This is a phenomenon caused by excessive magical power, and these lines even naturally form symbols that identify dragons.

"Well, it seems that I did not take the wrong path, which also proves that what Kana said does exist." To be honest, at the moment before entering the cave, Bugrett still had a little doubt about the dragon blood residue that Kana mentioned.

Buglet walked deeper into the cave. He encountered no monsters along the way, nor did he reach the end, but he could feel a downward slope under his feet.

Going down the slope, Buglet entered a spacious underground space.

"This place is not suitable for a dragon to display its skills." Bugrett couldn't help but mutter. He couldn't spread his wings and fly freely here.

The entire underground cave looks extremely wide, but it is deserted and no plants survive.

Arcs of electricity would occasionally appear in the air, illuminating the surroundings. The arcs almost never stopped, but their locations changed. Through these arcs, Buglet could clearly observe the entire space.

A pair of enormous eyes, like lanterns, flickered in the darkness. As they opened, a dense, crackling sound filled the air. It seemed as if the opening of the eyes had invigorated the magical energy in the air.

Flickering arcs of electricity illuminated the monster's body. It was a creature that looked almost like a dragon, with azure scales, sharp horns, a slender dragon head, and a powerful dragon tail. It looked like a blue dragon, so real it was hard to tell.

"If you stay here for another few hundred years, you might really become a giant dragon subspecies." Bugret said as he observed.

It was obviously impossible to directly become a Celestial Dragon. However, the Dragon subspecies could be considered a type of Dragon to some extent, but it just didn't have the inheritance of a Celestial Dragon.

The dragon subspecies has its own heritage and can almost be said to be one of the dragons closest to the astral dragon bloodline. It has a much closer relationship than those true sub-dragon species and flying dragon species.

"A little silver metal monster? Get out, this is not the place for you." The dragon subspecies spoke, and Bugret was not surprised by this.

"You've sensed something, right? You're guarding something, and you know that thing isn't something you can use. It's enough for you to guard it and absorb the overflowing power." As he spoke, the silver cheetah transformed back into an alchemical dragon, emitting a faint dragon aura.

"...Dragon? I thought you wouldn't find your way here. After all, you've flown over our heads time and time again for thousands of years, but you've never paid any attention to this place." The dragon subspecies spoke with sarcasm.

Bugrett had no way of refutation. Without Kana's explicit reminder, he would not have even taken a second look at this area even if he flew over his head.

"So your protection ends here. Now take the power you have gained and leave, and go out freely. Leave that thing to me for safekeeping." Bugret said in a calm but unquestionable tone.

The dragon subspecies didn't say anything, but just tilted its head and looked at Buglet.

"You have no body, only the dragon's soul. How can you obtain it? Even if you do, you won't be able to use it, and you might not even be able to protect it. Obviously, I can't give it to you so easily."

After he finished speaking, the electric arcs in the air continued to flash densely, and the crackling sounds continued.

"I knew that without a fight, the problem wouldn't be solved," Bugret said, dashing forward. (End of this chapter)
