Ksitigarbha shook his head: "You don't understand."

The Jade Emperor, wearing the crown of the Emperor of Heaven, sat on the Lingxiao Palace and gathered a group of immortal officials and generals to hold a court meeting.

He covered his eyes with tassels, making it impossible to see what his eyes were gazing at. All that was presented to the immortals was the unfathomable might of heaven.

Suddenly, Tianshi Qiu said, "Your Majesty, outside Tongming Palace, Ao Shun, the Dragon King of the North Sea, has presented a petition and is awaiting a summons."

The Jade Emperor said, "Announce."

Soon, Ao Shun entered the hall with a serious expression. When he arrived in front of the hall, he knelt on the ground, raised the memorial and kowtowed, saying, "Your Majesty, I am guilty!"

This action was completely incomprehensible to the immortals.

They all knew that Ao Shun and his son had made considerable contributions during their journey to the West. Now that the journey had just ended, it was a good opportunity for Ao Shun to gain power and rise. How could he be guilty?

The Jade Emperor was also puzzled and asked, "What crime have you committed?"

Ao Shun said respectfully, "I once colluded with the Demon King of Chaos to bully the monkeys in Flower-Fruit Mountain and attempted to seize the Water Curtain Cave."

Upon hearing this, all the immortals looked at each other in surprise.

Water Curtain Cave in Huaguo Mountain?

Isn’t that the cave of Sun Wukong, the newly enthroned Fighting Buddha and the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, at Lingshan?

Did this old Dragon King take the wrong pill?

How bold must you be to collude with demons, bully Sun Wukong's monkeys and grandchildren, and even attempt to seize his cave? And after doing this, are you sure you won't be beaten to death by Sun Wukong? Would you even have the chance to escape to heaven?
Ao Shun seemed to know what everyone was thinking and quickly added, "This happened almost a thousand years ago, before the Monkey King broke into the Dragon Palace and caused trouble in the underworld."

The immortals suddenly realized what was happening, but why did they confess their sins at this time?
The Jade Emperor asked the same question.

Ao Shun explained, "It's because of an old incident fourteen years ago. After the Dragon King of Jinghe River was beheaded, the guilty ministers seized the property of the Jinghe River Dragon Clan.

Recently, Sun Wukong was asked by Bodhisattva Guangli of the Eight Heavenly Dragons to claim back the property of the Jinghe Dragon Clan. He discovered that the guilty ministers had colluded with demons and bullied his people in the Flower-Fruit Mountain in the past.

The Great Saint Sun is compassionate and unwilling to set up a private court, so he did not punish me for my sins. He only told me to surrender myself to the Heavenly Court and look forward to the Holy Judgement!

After hearing this, the immortals looked at each other and couldn't believe it.

Is this definitely the Monkey King?

Although the once lawless Monkey King had become more worldly-wise due to being restrained on the journey to obtain Buddhist scriptures, he was still rebellious and arrogant.

Just based on what Ao Shun did, the Great Sage should have beaten him to death with a stick.

Could it be that after becoming a Buddha, one’s nature really changed?

The Jade Emperor didn't say anything, but just raised his hand and knocked on the table in front of him.

Taibai Jinxing next to him quickly took over Ao Shun's petition.

The Jade Emperor glanced at the contents above, his expression unchanged beneath the pendant, he simply said calmly: "Sun Wukong has now become a Buddha in Lingshan, this matter should be jointly examined by the Buddhist sect.
Instruct Yisheng Zhenjun and Youyi Lingguan to go to the West to ask Tathagata to send someone here."

"As you wish." The two generals followed the order and left.

Then, another Ge Tianshi came out and said, "Your Majesty, the Underworld Lord Qin Guangwang is also outside the Tongming Palace, waiting for the announcement."

The Jade Emperor paused for a moment before saying, "Announce."

Many immortals felt that this scene seemed somewhat familiar.

After a while, King Qin Guang also entered the Lingxiao Palace, holding a memorial respectfully.

Before the immortals could react, he knelt down in front of the palace with a thud and shouted in a trembling voice, "Your Majesty, I am guilty!"

After seeing this scene, the memories of the immortals became clearer.

Back then, the Monkey King Sun Wukong, who had not yet ascended to heaven, broke into the Dragon Palace and caused trouble in the underworld, so the Dragon God and the King of Hell complained to him one after another!
The difference is that the original dragon god, Ao Guang, the Dragon King of the East China Sea, has been replaced by Ao Shun, the Dragon King of the North China Sea.

And... and issue a soul-calling order, ordering the ghost to call his soul.

Now, moved by the compassion of Sun Dasheng, I repent of my past sins and come to the Heavenly Court to surrender myself..."

Upon hearing this, even though the immortals had already made some guesses, they all found it hard to believe.

In less than a thousand years, things have changed so much?

The Jade Emperor nodded slightly and said, "As you have requested."
