However, there are no vacancies you desire anywhere, so it is impossible to appoint you as an official. You can temporarily supervise the Nine Stars Department in the name of Fighting Victory Buddha."

Especially the Nine Stars, including the Water God, Wood God, and Fire God, some of them were already frowning without any concealment.

Taibai Jinxing stepped forward and said with emotion, "Great Sage, Your Majesty is the Supreme Being of the Three Realms. Your words are as sacred as gold. How can you change them so easily?"

Sun Wukong suddenly realized that he had forgotten about this, and then he hurriedly bowed and said, "Thank you for the reminder, Old Star Lord, but I have just returned to the Heavenly Palace to serve as an official, and I don't have a place to stay. You..."

Mahavairocana asked, "Bodhisattva, how did Fighting Victory Buddha find out about King Qin Guang?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said, "He asked Fengdu Emperor for help beforehand, so I had no choice but to ask him to check the Book of Life and Death."

Mahavairocana frowned: "If that's the case, then he should know about the change in the power of the underworld."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said: "This is not a secret. If you pay more attention, you can find out. So it does not affect the overall situation."

Mahavairocana nodded and added, "Also, during my trip to Heaven, I discovered that Fighting Buddha's attitude towards Ao Shun and his son was somewhat unusual."

Ksitigarbha was a little surprised: "Ao Shun and his son? Did he find out what you asked Ao Shun to do?"

The Great Sun Tathagata said, "I don't know. Although Ao Shun surrendered himself this time, he only said that he colluded with the Demon King of Chaos to bully the Flower-Fruit Mountain, but he did not mention that he was instructed by me.

I originally wanted to test the waters by persuading the Buddha to be compassionate and kind, and to give Ao Shun a chance to live.

Although I knew long ago that he would not forgive Ao Shun, what I didn't expect was that he actually recommended Ao Mo'ang to be the Dragon King of the North Sea, leaving hope for the North Sea dragon clan. Ao Shun was very grateful to him for this.

Mahavairocana nodded: "We need to check it out."

The Jade Emperor didn't even raise his eyelids and said directly: "Go and find out what happened between Sun Wukong and the dragon clan."

Taibai Jinxing quickly said, "Your Majesty, I was just about to report this matter."

The Jade Emperor was not surprised and waved his hand.

The fairies who were playing music and dancing retreated one after another.

Taibai Jinxing then continued, "When I descended to the mortal world to invite the Great Sage Equaling Heaven, I happened to meet Ao Lie, the Bodhisattva of Broad Strength, Ao Qin, the Dragon King of the South China Sea, and Chi Ran, the Dragon Lord of the Yellow River.

I noticed that their attitude towards Sun Wukong was too respectful... well, it should be reverence, which is different from ordinary awe.

On his previous journey westward, the Great Sage had many encounters with dragons, but nothing like this had ever happened before."

The Jade Emperor sat up, tapping his fingers lightly on the table in front of him. After a moment's contemplation, he suddenly said, "Check carefully."

Taibai Jinxing said nothing more and immediately left.

He understood that there was a difference in importance between checking once and checking carefully.

Sun Wukong returned to the Great Sage Equaling Heaven's Palace on the right side of the Peach Garden with ease.
