Secondly, let’s talk about the origin of this book.

Indeed, we are just trying to take advantage of the popularity, and we have already planned it.

In August last year, my editor, Lu Ming, suggested that I write a black Journey to the West based on dark mythology this year.

After that, I started collecting relevant information, watched countless explanatory videos, and collected countless analytical documents.

But the more I read, the more confused I become.

Finally, before the game was officially launched, the existing plot speculations on the Internet all seemed to be shooting the arrow first and then drawing the target. They were all dark myth plots in the creators' minds.

So, I threw all those plot speculations out of my mind.

I decided to write a Black Journey to the West that retains the main theme of Black Myth but does not touch on the plot of Black Myth, while leaving a loophole in the later stage that can connect to the plot of Black Myth.

So this book is also called "Black Myth: Prequel".

This way, no matter what the plot is like after the game is released, I can remain calm and it won't affect my own creation.

Then in March of this year, I scanned the charts and saw "The Counterattack System is Only Available in the Mahayana Stage" and "My Perfect Life in the End of the World".

At that time, the latter book had not yet been renamed and was called "It's the end of the world, and the perfect life system has finally arrived?"

Lao Yue’s inspiration also came from this, so the original title of this book was "The Journey to the West is Over, the Perfect Life System is Coming".

I quickly wrote the beginning of three chapters and gave them to Mr. Lu Ming.

Lu Da’s evaluation is: very good, with a very high ceiling.

I was ecstatic.

Then I started to conceive the plot, write the outline, and come up with various settings with great enthusiasm.

I waited until August 1st to publish the book, still full of confidence, thinking that I was finally taking off and reaching the pinnacle of my life. However, the first week of trial recommendations dealt me a heavy blow, and I didn't make it to the second round!
Later, the title of the book was changed again and again, and finally it was decided to be "Black Journey to the West".

It was not until after August 20th, when the Black Myth game was officially launched and the website gave it some promotion, that the book came back to life.

But the road ahead was still full of trepidation, with ups and downs, and I finally made it to this day.

Sometimes I feel that this is very similar to the journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures, which is also full of ups and downs.

Later, Lao Yue took the time to summarize and found that the problem still lay in the plot mode.

So thirdly, let’s talk about the plot of this book.

With this system, retracing the journey to the West is a certainty.

This kind of plot pattern with a clear path seems quite simple and it is not possible to go astray when writing.

But how to interpret the story after the Journey to the West, as well as the various calculations of the past and the various layouts of the present, to combine them with Monkey King’s past experiences, while also arranging various tasks, is a big problem.

If the planning is not good, some past experiences will not be so compelling when written down, and one can only make the transition by following the routine of simple tasks, so the reading experience will fluctuate greatly.

Like the Longmen Conference in the previous volume, it lacks some interest.

Lao Yue will have to think about this carefully in the future. For example, some unimportant plots may go by faster in the future.

Finally, the fourth point, let’s talk about updates.

It will be on the shelves at 12 noon tomorrow. There will be a delay in entering V, so it should be a few minutes late.

Lao Yue doesn’t have many manuscripts saved, so he’ll develop them in batches, two chapters in the morning and three chapters in the afternoon, a total of five chapters, to protect his character.
