Chapter 87: Stop being a Buddha! (Subscribe)
Seeing Guanyin remain silent, Sun Wukong sneered, "Bodhisattva, you said I would become obsessed with it, but how did Ksitigarbha become obsessed with it?
Everyone knew that he already had this obsession when he made the vow that he would not become a Buddha until hell was empty.

If he continues to practice this thought, nothing will go wrong and he will always be the respected Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

But his mistake was that he hid the soul of the wronged Jinghe Dragon King in his body, which was contrary to his inner obsession, so after being pointed out by Lao Sun, he became obsessed with it on the spot.

Humph, if it weren't for the appearance of the Queen Mother Hou Tu, the underworld would have been largely destroyed by the possessed Ksitigarbha!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva frowned. This was somewhat different from what the Buddha had said. Did Hou Tu Niangniang also appear? Didn't Dizang awaken on his own?
Sun Wukong's voice was hoarse and raspy as he continued, "But what did Buddhism do? The Buddha sent the Bodhisattvas Manjusri and Samantabhadra, along with five hundred Arhats and three thousand Jieti gods to descend into the underworld.

But at that time, there was clearly a demon-possessed Ksitigarbha in front of them, yet they surrounded me, the Fighting and Victory Buddha, and set up the Arhat Demon-Subduing Formation!

So I shot and killed most of the Arhats and Jie Di gods. Ha...ha, it was so satisfying! "

Upon hearing this, the immortals looked at each other in shock.

Just because of the soul of the Jinghe Dragon King, so many problems arose within Buddhism?
Guanyin Bodhisattva looked solemn and raised one hand, saying, "Wukong, that's enough. Don't say any more, or there will be no turning back."

Sun Wukong, leaning on his Ruyi Jingu Bang, sneered with difficulty, "Enough? You'll have to kill me and suppress my soul forever before you can make me shut up!

Hehe, I'd like to know, the Bodhisattva advised me to turn back. Was he afraid that I would reveal that you were the mastermind behind the death of the Jinghe Dragon King? Or was he more afraid that I would reveal the story of the Tang King's visit to the underworld?
And what is there to hide about these things?"

Wow!
At this moment, all the immortals in the Lingxiao Palace could no longer hold back. They were all shocked and couldn't believe it, and started talking at once.

what?
Guanyin Bodhisattva, who is known for her great compassion, is actually the murderer who killed the Jinghe Dragon King?
The Dragon King of Jinghe River was also confused and murmured, "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, you, you actually..."

The Immortal of the South Pole, the Queen Mother, and the Emperor of Purple Star remained silent, obviously having known it for a long time.

And in this chaos, Guanyin closed her eyes.

As Sun Wukong said, she did have these concerns.

In fact, when she heard about the divine teacher Yuan Shoucheng, she probably figured out her previous doubts.

That is: Sun Wukong must have gotten some clues from Yuan Shoucheng, so he was so sure that the soul of the Jinghe Dragon King was hidden somewhere in the underworld.

In fact, she had never ignored the existence of this fortune teller, but since the Dragon King of Jinghe was beheaded, the other party disappeared without a trace.

The hidden danger left behind at the beginning has now become a big problem.

Fortunately, she did not leave any evidence related to herself at that time.

So what Sun Wukong said just now would not affect her.

But the fact that King Tang visited the underworld must never be made public!
Thinking of this, the Bodhisattva suddenly opened his eyes again.

Her eyes were filled with majesty as she spoke in a deep voice, "Wukong, you have been possessed by a demon. What you said today was all nonsense. I must take you back to Lingshan and ask the Buddha to help you conquer your inner demons and achieve enlightenment!"

"Buddha, we agreed not to take action." The Emperor Ziwei placed the imperial seal in front of him.

"No need!" Sun Wukong gathered all his strength, leaning on the Ruyi Jingu Bang with one hand, his twisted body swaying, and in the other hand, there was a brand new cassock.

At this moment, he was holding the exquisite robes as if he was holding the Buddhist fruit that many people sought but could not obtain.

But he felt very cold in his heart. He didn't expect that after all the busy journey to the west, the end result would be like this.

Indeed, his experiences on the journey to the West had made him realize how hypocritical Buddhism was.

However, he never took it seriously, and finally completed his journey to the west and put on the monk's robes.

All this was not only because he wore a tight headband, but also because he received favors from Guanyin Bodhisattva and Master Xuanzang.

It wasn't the Monkey King's nature to not repay a favor. Furthermore, most of the gods in heaven were like this, appearing friendly on the surface but secretly engaging in sinister deeds.

So it’s the same everywhere, so just turn a blind eye.

He couldn't cause trouble in Lingshan again. After all, the havoc in Heaven had made him realize that there were always people better than him.

After becoming a Buddha, he obtained the perfect life system and started to walk the path forward. In his past experiences, he discovered various problems, calculations, and truths that he had not paid attention to before.

All these made him tired of the title of Fighting Buddha, so he preferred to be called the Great Sage Equaling Heaven.

But even so, he had no idea of leaving Buddhism.

But now, everything has changed.

The case of the Dragon King of Jinghe River made him face the reality.

The hypocrisy of Buddhism was beyond his imagination.

Sun Wukong understood that unless he became a Fighting Buddha who only relied on the merits of incense, he would close his eyes, not see right or wrong, good or evil, loyalty or treachery, and would not seek justice or the people's hearts.

Only in this way can it last long.

Otherwise, in the future, whether he is doing things for himself or for the public, as long as he still wants to do things according to his heart, there will be a situation where the devil is in front of him and the Buddhist sect will subdue him.

So, he now knew what to do.

Many thoughts flashed through the Great Sage's mind. Although they seemed numerous, they only happened in a split second.

At this moment, the eyes of the Antarctic Immortal, Queen Mother of the West, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Purple Star Emperor, and a group of immortal officials and generals present were still on Sun Wukong.

His bloodshot eyes, which had originally been blurred, now slowly gathered with divine light, and finally, like an arrow, seemed to break through everything in front of him.

Such a terrifying look shocked all the immortals.

Looking at the robe shining with Buddha's light, many people widened their eyes, as if they realized something.

Under the gazes of many, the Great Sage chuckled again and said, "Back then, I was held captive by Tathagata beneath the Five Elements Mountain, suffering daily. It was the compassionate Bodhisattva who led me on the journey to obtain the scriptures and taught me the way to liberation.

I, Old Sun, kept it in mind, so no matter how difficult the road ahead was, I finally accompanied Master Xuanzang to complete the journey to obtain the scriptures and became the Fighting and Victorious Buddha.

But now it's time to end.

Old Sun knows that he is not a savior, and he will not talk about benefiting the people.

But Lao Sun really can't stand things where black and white are reversed and good and evil are not distinguished, and he is even more unwilling to continue to compromise and go against his original intention.

Therefore, I cannot be the Fighting Buddha that you want me to be.

In this case, I won’t become a Buddha…forget it!”

As the hoarse, piercing, and painful voice fell, the staggering figure holding the Ruyi Jingu Bang also struggled to open the hands holding the cassock.

call!
The brand new robes, emitting a sparkling brilliance, were blown away by the wind and fell in front of the hall, eventually losing their luster.

I wrote these two chapters last night, and there are three more chapters to be posted in the afternoon and evening. The climax is not over yet, so I’ll go write firstヾ(°°).
