Chapter 57 The Meaning of Chaos

Leonard was sitting at the dining table eating at the moment. When he noticed the uninvited guest, he just took a look and continued to eat his dinner.

"Time is one of the powers of my Lord." Luo Lin did not deny it. He nodded, then his expression became dazed, as if recalling something, and said, "My Lord can make people from the past reappear in this world..."

Even though he had guessed it in his heart, when his guess was confirmed, Pales was still shocked.

Because this authority is really too astonishing, and Pales knows very well that if the Lord of Chaos can really make people from the past reappear, it will probably be honey that many people cannot refuse.

Luo Lin blinked and said, "Old man, don't accuse me. I didn't say anything."

This is not considered a collapse of his character. After all, Rollin Zoroast was not a devout believer. He chose to be loyal to the Lord of Chaos only for revenge, for the rise of his family, and for his loved ones, but this does not mean that he is a devout believer of the other party.

Pales naturally knew that the man before him wasn't a true believer, so after making a joke, he fell into deep thought. Then, as if he had finally made up his mind, he said, "In two months, I can conduct my first hunt for Amon, but I need your help in locating Amon."

The era of great strife was clearly before his eyes, and Pales felt that he could no longer enjoy his retirement and had to stand firm for a while.

As for why it was two months later, of course it was because Pales needed some time to prepare, as he was too badly injured now.

"I will report your needs to the Lord, and I believe there will be a reply soon." Luo Lin was not surprised by this. He came here with the intention of provoking Pales to stand up.

He then thought of something and looked at Leonard.

At least, both the Goddess of Night and the Church have indeed been helping the people of this world.

"The club doesn't force members to change their beliefs. You can still believe in the Goddess of Night." Rowling said with a smile. He wasn't surprised by Leonard's attitude. He just said slowly:

"You don't have to view this as a betrayal of the Church of Evernight. The club has no intention of becoming an enemy of the Church of Evernight. You can just treat this as an ordinary secret gathering."

Leonard's expression shifted when he heard this. His eyes rolled, and his long-unused brain finally came online. He said, "Why me? Because of the old man?"

"No, if the old man wants to join the club, I will invite him individually." Rowling shook his head and smiled at the shadow Pales who was watching the show.

"I'll have to think about this carefully." Shadow Pales said with a smile, neither agreeing nor refusing.

Luo Lin was not surprised. He just looked at Leonard and said, "The reason I invited you to join the club is because of fate."
