Chapter 64 Lucifer's Darkening Process

Chapter 64 Lucifer's Darkening Process

Klein had a bad feeling in his heart, so he chose to continue reading the following diary:
“August 10, cloudy.

Today, I successfully advanced to the level of Sequence 8 Trickster. Amon told me that I could try to trick him, saying that this way, my Trickster potion could be digested in one second.

It's so funny. I'm the biggest fraudster in this field. How could I have that ability?

But Amon's personality is gentler than I imagined, and reminds me of my former teacher."

"August 10, cloudy.

Under Amon's guidance, I chose to defraud those gang members. They were not good people to begin with, and I wouldn't feel guilty about defrauding them.

Amon said I am very talented, is that true?
But I have to say, I am a little happy, I am indeed a genius."

The contents of the diary were very everyday, even a little heartwarming, but Klein almost frowned.

Because he found that as time went by, Zoroaster's vigilance towards Amon had obviously dissipated a lot, and he even seemed to really regard Amon as a teacher.

If Amon is really a good person, then there is nothing wrong with doing this, but...

Klein thought of Rowling's repeated emphasis on the point that "Amon is a bad guy." He looked at the diaries in his hands, and his bad premonition became clearer.

He chose to continue reading, and after a few brief diary entries describing daily life, he came to an unusual chapter:

“September 6th, light rain.

Before I knew it, it had been almost a year since Amon caught me. A lot had happened in this year, and I had finally been successfully promoted to Sequence 6 Fire Thief.

Now when I look back at the diary I wrote, I even find it a little funny. Facts have proved that the records of the Zoroast family are not necessarily correct. Amon does not seem to be as bad as they said.

Maybe I could give up my escape plan? Although I haven't tried it yet."

“June 6rd, moderate rain.

Amon suddenly asked me today if I wanted to be his follower.

A little surprised and a little happy.

The favored followers of the God of Mischief seem to be even more prestigious than the favored followers of the true God."

Seeing this, Klein's ominous premonition reached its peak. He immediately read the following content, but the first sentence alone made Klein's heart skip a beat:
“On October 6, there was heavy rain.

I was eaten.

But fortunately, my soul was special enough, so after Amon ate me, he had to spit me out, and I did not become the next Amon.

that's nice!

Hahahahahahahaha! Amon! Amon!
I will kill you, I promise."

The overwhelming hatred seemed to be transmitted through the words. Klein looked at the diary that abruptly ended, and it was difficult to describe his feelings.

In these few pages of the diary, he almost witnessed the process of how a time traveler was "played" by Amon, from being vigilant at the beginning to his vigilance collapsing, and then being eaten after completely trusting Amon.

This is too cruel and too bad, far more cruel than killing the other person directly.

Amon was completely playing with the mind and even soul of Zoroastrian.

If before this, Klein had only a rather false and empty impression of Amon's evil nature, then after reading these diaries, Klein finally understood why Jack repeatedly emphasized Amon's threat to him.

This is indeed an extremely dangerous and extremely evil existence.

So here comes the crux of the matter, who is this Zoroaster who was played around by Amon?

Lucifer's image appeared in Klein's mind almost instantly. Although the other party's mysterious state made it difficult for Klein to imagine that he had ever had such an experience, considering that everyone has weak moments, this is not impossible.

"And considering Mr. Lucifer doesn't mind people appreciating his own tragedy, he might actually let his diary circulate in the market..."

Klein's mood became increasingly complicated as he thought about this. He certainly had doubts about the authenticity of the diaries, but at least until they were confirmed to be fake, Klein was willing to believe that these diaries were real.

This made Klein subconsciously look in the direction of Rowling. He saw Rowling hesitantly looking at the diary in his hand. Klein immediately understood his thoughts from that expression:
"So the Fool is indeed related to time travel, otherwise how could he understand Chinese..."

Klein wasn't surprised at all by this and simply pretended he hadn't seen anything, just in case Rowling said something shocking and asked a question on the spot.

"Of course, if Jack really asked me right then and there, I'd have to dismiss him with something like 'It's not the time for you to know yet...'" Klein quipped inwardly. After putting down the diary, he looked at the other members of the Tarot Club and said, "Actually, you don't have to wait for me."

When the other members of the Tarot Club heard what the Fool said, it was naturally impossible for them to say, "Then we won't wait anymore." Instead, they all immediately said, "It's an honor to wait."

Afterwards, the Tarot Club entered into an intelligence exchange session. Justice Audrey first talked about the selection of clerks. This was a proposal put forward by the Fool and Justice Audrey was responsible for promoting it. It was the first time that the Tarot Club interfered with the progress of this world.

After finishing the discussion, Justice Audrey chatted with the Hanged Man Alger about the deal between the two parties. Just as she was about to call it a day and just watch, she suddenly remembered something and asked:
"I've recently been exposed to some Beyonder circles and participated in some Beyonder gatherings. Among them is a powerful person named Mr. A. Everyone, does anyone know his background?"

Luo Lin, who had been watching from the sidelines until now and was increasingly eager to try, naturally wouldn't miss this opportunity. He said, "I know that Mr. A is an envoy of the Aurora Society and a believer in the True Creator."

Hey, did Mr. Jack know about this?

Justice Audrey was a little surprised, but when she thought about Luo Lin's family background in learning, she was not surprised anymore. She just asked curiously, "What is the Aurora Society's Divine Envoy?"

So Luo Lin enthusiastically introduced the situation of the Aurora Society to her. As an emerging organization, the strength of the Aurora Society is actually not weak. There are 5 saints and 22 messengers in the society. The messengers are basically of middle sequence and use English letters as code names.

"Even among the many Aurora Society messengers, Mr. A is one of those favored by the True Creator. He's a Sequence 5 shepherd, and among Sequence , he's an absolute powerhouse..." Luo Lin spoke without a trace of guilt, revealing Mr. A's true identity. Then, as if remembering something, he said:
"But the Aurora Society doesn't seem to have any angels. Uh, no, that's not right. I think I heard the teacher mention last time that there's an Angel of Destiny who occasionally helps the Aurora Society because he follows the true Creator."

"Angel of Destiny, that sounds amazing..." Upon hearing such high-level knowledge, Justice Audrey couldn't help but feel a little excited.
