Chapter 93 Time Travel Diary 30

Chapter 93 Time Travel Diary 3.0
Klein hadn't expected Melissa to react this way, and he quickly began to explain. After a long while, he finally convinced Melissa that this wasn't a scam, but rather that his boss had chosen him because of his exceptional abilities.

"I knew you could do it, Klein." Melissa then smiled broadly, but after a few laughs, she became worried again and said, "Klein, where are you going to live after you get to Backlund? I heard the rent there is very expensive, and the air quality isn't very good..."

She rambled on for a long time, raising many life issues that Klein himself had never thought about, leaving him stunned.

After she finished speaking, Melissa hesitated for a moment before saying, "So when you get there, remember to write to us. If we have time, we will come to see you."

Benson rubbed his little sister's head and looked at Klein. "Going to Backlund for development is a good thing. It's the capital. And Klein, you don't have to worry about us too much. If everything goes well, maybe we'll move there soon."

Klein was stunned for a moment.

Benson smiled and reminded, "Don't forget, I'm still preparing for the clerk exam. Melissa will be able to apply for university next year. The schools in Backlund are better than Tingen. Although she may not be able to get in, I think Melissa should give it a try."

"So go to Backlund without worry, Klein. We will support you no matter what."

……

Although he had the support of his brother and sister and no longer had any worries, Klein still had to wait for a response from the Nighthawks headquarters. So before officially being promoted to a magician and leaving Tingen for Backlund, Klein first attended another Tarot Club.

Above the gray fog, Klein materialized his pocket watch and took a look, estimating the time it would take to pull the little sun above the gray fog. Thinking of his experiences over the past seven days, he suddenly felt a sense of relief.

There was actually a Tarot meeting scheduled during these seven days, but due to the Hurricane Vice Admiral Qilingos incident, Justice Audrey and Hanged Man Alger both took leave and were unable to participate in that Tarot meeting. Klein simply canceled the gathering.

"Luckily it was canceled in advance, otherwise I would have to hold the party in the form of a cat... Well, but not necessarily." Klein muttered to himself and glanced at his pocket watch again. Seeing that the scheduled time had arrived, he began today's meeting process, pulling the Tarot Club members into the gray fog one by one.

During this process, Klein thought of what Lucifer had mentioned and took a special look at Jack's spirit. Unfortunately, the other party's spirit looked no different from others. At least Klein couldn't tell whether it had any damage.

I don't know what kind of accident it was... Klein muttered to himself, and then he heard the voice of Justice Audrey, as energetic as ever:
"Good afternoon, Mr. Fool~"

Then the gray fog was filled with a happy atmosphere again.

However, this time, before Justice Audrey could greet the others according to procedure, the Hanged Man Alger gestured and said quickly, "Mr. Fool, I have obtained a total of 26 pages of Russell's diary this time."

It has to be quick. The Sailor's Path doesn't really enhance memory and learning abilities, and the Hanged Man Alger isn't a genius in this area. If he doesn't materialize Russell's diary quickly, he'll forget it.

Of course, the Hanged Man Alger did not deny that this was also a gesture of loyalty.

Thinking of Hurricane Vice Admiral Qilingos who had been turned into a sheep, and the "He" that Archbishop Ace Snake used when referring to the Fool's Favored One, the Hanged Man Alger's voice became increasingly humble. He directly stated that these diaries were the reward he should pay because Mr. Fool sent his Favored One to eliminate Hurricane Vice Admiral Qilingos.

However, Mr. Lucifer is not my beloved... Klein the Fool smiled bitterly in his heart, but nodded with a smile on his face, saying:
"This is the principle of equivalent exchange." Klein admitted it without feeling too guilty. After all, Lucifer had indeed been standing up for him when he took action that time.

Mr. Fool just glanced at Jack out of the corner of his eye, and as expected, the latter showed a thoughtful expression.

After all, Jack knew who had taken out Hurricane Vice Admiral Qilingos.

Fortunately, Mr. Lucifer was suspected to be related to the Fool from Jack's perspective, so I'm not worried about being exposed... Klein, the Fool, comforted himself in his heart when he heard the Hanged Man Alger say that his memory was limited and he could only remember 6 pages at a time, so he could only provide these Russell diaries in installments.

Mr. Fool naturally had no objection to this. He nodded and said with a smile, "No problem."

The others did not make any comments during this phase. Apparently, apart from the Hanged Man Alger, no one else had collected another Russell diary.

So, Klein the Fool naturally entered the reading session. His gaze moved downward, and after seeing the contents of the first page clearly, he confirmed that this should be the diary of Emperor Roselle.

This page of Russell's diary mentioned Mr. Men and some history about the Fourth Era, such as which four emperors were in the War of the Four Emperors, how the God of Death became the ultimate winner of the War of the Four Emperors, and how he and the Primordial Witch together launched the Pale Disaster, etc.

This corroborated what Klein had learned from Jack. The only thing that concerned Klein was the mention in the diary that "the God of Death had gone mad."

"Through Zoroaster's diary, I've basically confirmed that the War of the Four Emperors was a war between four Sequence Zeros, and Tudor is a half-mad god. Now, the God of Death, who gained the greatest benefit from the War of the Four Emperors, has also gone mad. Why is this? What exactly did the God of Death gain from the War of the Four Emperors..." Klein pondered in his heart, his intuition telling him that it might be very important.

However, the lack of intelligence still prevented Klein from figuring out the reason, so he simply continued reading the diary. Then Klein perked up because the second page of the diary clearly belonged to Zoroaster.

"September 9, sunny.

The weather is nice today, and I dreamed of that chaos again.

This is the third time since I was eaten by Amon last time. I originally thought it was another trick played by Amon, but later found out that it didn’t seem to be the case.

Rather, it was precisely because of this chaos that Amon was unable to completely devour my spirit.

So what is this, exactly? A belated golden finger for time travelers?

Chaos? What chaos?
Klein instantly thought of the existence of gray fog. It wasn't that he thought Zoroaster dreamed of gray fog, but his intuition told him that Zoroaster might have dreamed of something similar to gray fog.

This is also consistent with the information revealed by Lucifer. Mr. Lucifer and Jack do not belong to Tianzun's resurrection container, but to another existence.

So, could the chaos that Zoroaster dreamed of be related to that existence?
